I can also confirm something. After much talk here I already ordered me a set of clubsport pedals since they are now with free kit. So now I am in full anticipation of the CSW. (⌒▽⌒)

You won't be disappointed. I just got mine last week...they're incredible once you get used to them.

Gotta feel sorry.for fanatec... They send a faulty piece.of kit to one of the most active posters best mate

I didnt say he was a best mate, their you go making things up again lol.
Maybe I should send over the faulty adapter to you so your girlfriend can bin it as shes good at doing that eh.

At the end of the day I followed this through and some were determind to tell me it wouldnt work, but who was right in the end and as I stated I needed to confirm if his adapter was faulty before being certain.

What pedals were you using before that? Just curious to know what your comparison material is/was.
For me I wonder how much difference there is between CSP's and T500 RS pedals. But we'll soon find out.

Anyone know how long delivery of these things will take currently? I'm in the Netherlands, so it only needs to cross one border by truck.

Well I came from DFGT pedals so it was "hahahahaha" but even from the T500 pedal with the load cell it ought to be an important difference. Pressure vs actuation distance.

Was it RC45 on this forum who compared them? I believe the conclusion was that the CSP was better.

I dunno, haven't been around long enough I think for that comparison. I'll see as to what to do. I will have to stick to the T500 pedals first anyway as I play GT5 daily for several hours. And I don't think GT5 will support using both together. Got some sim/semi-sim/arcade games to review them with though. Rfactor, LFS, Race07, Shift 1&2, dirt 1&2&3, all Nfs since carbon, TDU2, and a bunch of others I've got on steam, online and cd. So I'll give it a thorough review before deciding for myself which one I personally like more.

The comparison I was referring to was back when the T500 first arrived and there was some controversy around the opinions expressed.

I know we will all be very interested to hear your opinion on them. It is hard to get thoughtful comparisons of sim gear. At the costs of these items it is not many who can really compare them side by side and fewer yet who let the community know what they think.

I look forward to your thoughts on the matter.

I'm comparing them to DFGT and Fanatec standard pedals. Clubsports are miles better than those pedals.

Does anyone know if the new pedals have load cell issues as the clubsport pedals? I checked the specs and the elite pedals also have load cells...given all the issues the clubsport ones had, I am not sure if fanatec is stupid or they making more money off the load cell replacements?

Load cell issues you only get depending on who you ask.

I´ve had my CSP´s for over a year and trashed them like hell. Not once have i taken them apart or lubed them etc to do some maintenance on them and they still feel like they were brand new with the loadcell working splendid.

Same with the Fanatec wheels. I never had a problem with my GT3RS V2 despite some having problems.

Ten months for me and my gt2/csp with zero issues as well. I have taken my pedals apart numerous times messing with different springs etc. I run my brake pedal on the short throw and loadcell potentiometer set pretty heavy. My brake pedal takes abuse as im generally a late braker.
So in short:
I doubt the new pedals will have load cell issues.

Well, just got word that my CSP's with kit are being put into a box with my name and address on it. Now only Deutsche Post, DHL, UPS or whatever needs to pick it up and bring it to me.
Sad to see that the CSP will arrive before my Thrustmaster TH8 RS shifter which I pre-ordered a month ago and should've been released the 15th, but nothing has been shipped yet. Even though TM says it's a supply&demand issue, nothing has been shipped at all. So they are just treating pre-orders as a survey to make stuff according to demand. Which I won't mind if it's communicated which it isn't. Anyways... that was totally offtopic.

I hope I don't get any issues with my new pedals though. :S

CSR Wheel & Pedal Adapter with X360 Official Wheel Pedals

DOES WORK!

I can confirm my friend had a faulty adapter, he still hasnt heard back from Darin @ CS and at last I can put to bed this issue. I looked him out my own and got an answer from him tonight that it is now working fine.

Note to Fanatec:
Please UPDATE your "comparison chart" and website "CSR product page" listing compatibility with X360 pedals. It would save a lot of confusion in the future.

Now if only the G25 adapter was compatible with the CSR

Jerome

Here's a question regarding the Elite pedals

Any of you guys find the brake resistance a bit to strong?

Will adjusting the pedal throw to the lowest setting help?

Now if only the G25 adapter was compatible with the CSR

Jerome

Are you referring to the newer dual adapter or the original "Logitech G25/G27" one?

Jerome, my friend has been using my G25 pedals I lent him with his CSR in FM4 with no problems. When he got my adapter he tried his X360 pedals and they worked. The faulty adapter he had worked fine with G25 but on his X360 pedals they were reversed.

I wonder if Fanatec maybe have just had a bad batch?

Hope you get it sorted.
My friend emailed Darin @ CS 3-4 days ago and no response...

Hey Jerome, you still getting problems with your pedals, and also any reply from FANATEC?

No reply from Fanatec yet, but I'm really happy with the CSR Elite's so I think I'll just make a For Sale post and sell my G25 pedals and DFGT and call it a day.

Could be a bad batch, I am giving Fanatec benefit of the doubt for now because I can't officially confirm that they aren't compatible.

I just hope the G27 pedals can work as good as they do on the G27 itself. Haven't played it in days for not feeling well from chemotherapy, but if the problem arises I guess the only thing I can do is try and write to FANATEC about it.

P.S, Jerome, did you buy the CSR Pedals?

Hope you are okay too, Honda. Be sure not too forget to eat lots of vitamins from fresh fruit if possible. They help the body gain its strength back. :)

Our CSR wheels should be compatible to the MS pedals as well as G25 and G27 pedals. If this is not working then we probably have a defective adapter.

That could be the case, but I haven't heard anything from support yet. And because rumor has it support can take a while, I bought new CSR Elite pedals.

EDIT: 4000th post! *whiteboy dance*

They are indeed Thomas.
The confusion has been over the "Compatibility Chart" listing only as G25/G27.
Also if you guys get a chance to update your CSR product page to highlight the "optional adapter" also supports X360 pedals.

The adapter page needs updated too as it refers to "Porsche Wheels", tis a bit confusing now with the new wheels.

See my recent posts as only trying to help, clarify the issue and my friend who was rather upset his CSR purchase wasnt working as expected and is his first Fanatec product.

He has since told me somebody contacted him to ship out a replacement adapter.

* You owe me , lol :)

Thomas, do you know when we are getting more info on the CSW?
I know you and and SRT have done some info-vids which more or less says everything you need to know about it but it would be nice with a proper review where you find out how it feels etc :)

i am with amf7 here. pretty sure its just a prototype, i believe it would be VERY close to the final product. but even the littlest change, still a change. they the wheel has not yet be put into final production, or at least im guessing so because we would be able to preorder at that point. similar to the CSR wheel. i just got my CSP's with the free tuning kit, im foaming at the mouth for the CSW now, these wheels are pretty much useless till then.
