I’m not sure what your idea of “properly PS4 compatible” is. Stupidly, Sony doesn’t have some standard or SDK for licensed wheels, which is why early Fanatec PS4 wheels weren’t licensed by Sony - it wouldn’t have made any difference to compatibility. It’s up to each game to add support for each wheel, licensed or not (though apparently Sony no longer allows them to support unlicensed wheels). The reason why the G29 and T300 are compatible with everything is because they’ve been around for years. The CSL PS4 has only been around for a few months. Of the big racing games on PS4, it’s fully compatible with Assetto Corsa, Dirt Rally, and F1 2017; PCars 2 and GT Sport are working on adding it, and in the meantime it still works pretty well on those in its compatibility mode already.
