It's definitely going to be a FANATEC upgrade Christmas in my house! =) Thomas...I've added you to my rather exclusive Christmas card list ;)

I bet you will ask us to change this order on Monday ;)

I knew it. I knew it. I knew you were going to do this to me. This is my own damn fault.

OK, Mr. Fanatec (wink-wink), you got me, OK. Know this: I am in, either way. I am buying fanatec gear, either/and through the nervous sweat box of Black Friday mania or keeping my already ordered-overnight delivered-goodies from late today (yeah, maybe we put a hold on that order going to Williamsville, New York until work opens again on Monday? ;) ).

Again, though, I am vowing to you. I give up. I am Anakin ( D to the V) to your Emperor Palpatine ("woo-hoo, long live Emperor Palpatine!"). Seriously, I promise you as a customer of your beloved company I will be buying pedals, shifter, wheel base, wheel rim...and maybe some cables...possibly a break performance kit, sometime between now (which, I have already purchased some) and next Friday.

... and may God have mercy on my soul!

Oh, and honestly, thank you for your products and thank you for everything you and your team does as I am in no way the only one out there that truly appreciates it.

Now where did I put my Porsche 911 GT2 Wheel?

Inferno, thank you.

When will the sale actually take place? I mean, I know on the 24th, but what time normally, GMT or otherwise?

Additionally, is there any need for the break performance kit with the v3is if you already have the damper with that model?

I would say the brake performance kit is more important than the damper. I had both on my v3s' but ended up selling the damper kit after a while, didn't really add that much to the feeling..

Why would you buy them before the other 3 deals have been announced?! You know the others things could be on offer, you've literally gone mad .

I disagree the dampener made a huge difference to the brake feel and now it's much closer to an actual car brake, how I have it setup at least.

I use 2.5 on the pre-load and 3.5 on the dampener. If you have them maxed on 5/8 like some people then sure it's rock hard and barely moves which doesn't add a lot.

I'm actually curious about the dampener. I don't really want more resistance in the pedal as I'm not really a fan of an incredibly stiff brake which is why I'm not really looking at the BPK. But does the dampener change the feel of the brake as well as the resistance?

F Inferno, there are a team of doctors working on my headlight now. They should have me right as rain by Monday!

Honestly, I was thinking this first one with the pedals, then two of the remaining three would be the new F1 Rims(s), and then a CSL Elite deal, whereas I am maybe more interested in the V2.5.

Before I couldn't sleep because I was excited...now, it's because I am nervous.:nervous:

You can have it change the resistance if you ramp it up high but I've certainly not driven anything which felt like that. It basically makes it impossible to quickly press the pedal as you have the compress the fluid before the load cell is put into action on a lower pre-load anyway.

Higher dampener settings would only make sense on higher pre-load IMO but people who like high/max pre-load tend to want less pedal throw to and purely work on pressure and for them the elastometers make more sense again IMO.

With how I set it I basically adjusted it so that force needed was identical but now the pedal has that hydrolic feel like in an actual car with the initial easy press and then much harder later in the throw.

Thanks for the reply. So it looks like the dampener might be for me. I'll wait and see what the rest of the sales they have for Black Friday, but thanks for the info.

Does anyone know if the V3 pedals and/or inverted pedals fit the Next Level Racing wheel stand? I read on another forum that Next Level is selling adapters to fit it, but I'm not seeing it anywhere. Thanks

I’ve got the V2 cockpit which is made up of the Wheel stand and I have a set of V3 pedals. I had to drill two holes in the pedal plate on the wheel stand as the pre drilled holes do not match. However, the pedal plate is not very thick steel so as long as you have a drill and a HSS drill bit it’s a very quick fix.

Such a great deal. The thing is I rarely am able to take 4 days off and there is a chance ("chance") I could get my original order in time for Thanksgiving weekend here in the states.

Still, I can't believe how much money fanatec is saving me, even through the first two deals.

I really think I may have to contact them on Monday morning and change my order. I know they've already at least processed it is I checked my account last night.

Still could get the shifter, hand break cable and wheel base early? I don't want to screw things up on their side and be a problem. I know it's a busy time of year.

This awesome, though! Kudos to fanatec!

hi all,new here and wanted to ask csl elite users if you guys experienced the wheel base suddenly turns off and doesnt power anymore.
i just got mine less than a week and was just recently playing for less than an hour gts, then it disconnected from the game and when i looked it's off.
if i press power, red light turns on,but as soon as i let go of the power button, red light goes out.
its not hot or anything.tried after 30 mins, still nothing.
hoping someone can advice.

The first two are both great deals, but for someone who is already a Fanatec user, I am still waiting for the anticipated CSL Elite PS4 bundle deal ;)

Always heard good things about Fanatec and have been reading and watching reviews of the PS4 CSL Elite.

Am I understanding correctly that in GTS this wheel has to be run in "compatibility mode", which emulates a Logitech G29 wheel?

I already have a Thrustmaster T300 Alcntara wheel so would getting a CSL Elite be an upgrade, downgrade, or a lateral for GTS?

Thanks - Alan

I know they are different wheel bases with different internals but my CSL E PS4 doesn't do that. Upon start up the fan will run at 100% then shut down after a few seconds on its own. Maybe for the older wheels this is just part of the start up process?
Thanks for your reply, Abe.

That's just what I think mine should do, but fan doesn't stop.

I'm sorry I don't have answer for you and I hope someone here can help you, Eiz, and that your issue is corrected soon.

You should also try fanatec technical support; either a live chat during the week or sending them a message.

Thanks,no worries.am already in touch with fanatec support.just waiting on them.apparently, looks to be a hardware issue according to the tech i chatted with.

That depends totally on your expectations. I believe upgrading to Fanatec pedals might be a large jump if you come from t3pa pedals. For the wheel it should be a jump in power. In smoothness it should be a small improvement. More importantly is the question if you want to invest in thrustmaster ecosystem or fanatec. I predict it will be a battle like Nikon vs canon. Right now the fanatec is very impressive, with the option to upgrade to Direct drive (upcoming podium series) without having to buy new peripherals in the future.

So for the PS4... it is essentially an upgrade... but bring out your Creditcard cause it isn’t going to be cheap...personally I chose thrustmaster because I’m a console player and not interested in going to PC. This is where Fanatec gear have the most potential. Thrustmaster has better ps4 support at the moment. And prevents me from spending too much cash on v3 pedals, Sq shifter, formula rim, wheel hub, direct drive servo etc.

Fanatec answered on a post under this photo that there are 2 BF deals for the ps4 ( v3 inverted pedals and universal hub). They said also that the ps4 wheel and the ps4 -pedals bundle are allready on a very competitive price. The last deal will be for the v2.5 base i think. So the way i understand Fanatec, there will be no CSL ps4 version BF deal. I will wait and see what Thrustmaster dealers will do for the T-GT on Black Friday. They know that T-gt is wayyyyy over priced and i think TM also know that, if we consider the -25% discount codes that they locked out too soon way sooner than they anounced. Just think this. . . . -40% on T-GT vs csl elite ps4 version in price as it is now.

In my opinion Fanatec will loose many potential customers like me(maybe). If we consider the compatibility issues that csl elite ps4 has on ps4 they should promote their product through Black Friday. For me the price is allreay good but i would pay this price if there was a full support right now just like the tm weels.

You got to be ******** me! The Xbox bundle is basically giving it for free... The PS4 bundle costs 520 EUR 🤬

If i was Fanatec i would have the ps4 elite wheel + 2csl pedals (no Lc) bundle just usd100 /100euros less or something.... Just to make a small true ps4 offer.
