Mine CSL Elite (XBox version) arrived yesterday.I played four hours.The wheel base looks good and is relatively small.The wheel is powerful,smooth,very fast(I am able to save huge slides with this wheel) and the single belt drive mechanism has low friction.I set the FEI setting to 5 and the wheel is pretty quiet.To be able to adjust the force feedback settings and the degrees of rotation during gameplay is very convenient.When the force feedback is set to 100 the fan works hard and here is winter with temperature in the room of twenty degrees Celsius,the base remains relatively cold but I'm a little worried about the hot summer days.
Someone else who experienced random activation of the tuning menu button,happens when the rear end of the car starts to slide and I countersteer.

Someone in here who is apparently much more experienced than myself ( but has never owned a csl) suggested that I just leave dor setting in auto and let the game adjust it. Like you, I think being able to adjust ffb, fei, dor, etc. during gameplay is a great feature. It would be a shame to not utilize it, right?

CSL Elite has zero cooling issues. That is what the fan is for. I have run with mine at FFB 100 for 4-5hrs with zero loss of FFB. With GT Sport set at FFB Max Torque to 4.

Mine is frosty as well. You gotta watch this guy. He doesn’t own one of these, yet pops up in almost every thread about it making comments like this.

Mine too, he doesn't have problem of cooling.
Still he is right about the FFB, you have to sacrifice detail and feedback in GT Sport because of the on center oscillation in compatibility mode. In Project Cars 2 it is a little flat for my taste. This on PS4. On PC is a different animal. That is why I prefer play with the T-GT on PS4 and the CSL on PC.

Good. He got one right. I can think of about three others, like this one, that he got wrong. I could understand if he had owned one and had a bad experience. But he hasnt, which basically makes him a troll, not owning one, and coming into almost every thread about it making comments like that.

If you referring to me... I was making a joke referring to @super_gt heavy duty pedal mod. Did you see his amazing pedalsmod? Stop being paranoid.:banghead: You really think I am a TM representative trying to put the CSLE in a negative light?

I am not trolling and in the case with you I am always right!:D

Yeah. All of your negative CSL comments on all of the CSL threads are jokes too, right? Csl owners are just trying to get support from each other and you are dropping these little bombs all over the place and you always have some excuse. I will leave you alone when you decide to stop trying to insult me in a public forum, stooping as low as political affiliations. Real classy, that one, among others.

Did anyone order the PS4 wheel, inverted pedals and the new Mclaren wheel all at once? Reason for asking is I'm being told my entire order won't ship until Feb and now this morning told end of March. I would have expected partial shipment.

It may be cost related. You may have to call them to work it out, but it does say on the site if an item is backordered the whole order will ship once item is in stock.

Apologies for the senseless banter. 1.07 wasn’t a major update. Just small fixes Your best hopes is the larger update later this month. Keep your eyes on the Fanatec blog if the update does come for both PCars2 and GTsport.

I have contacted Fanatec twice for shipping questions and it took them about a day to respond. Any response from them yet?
