Thank you a lot for reply ! Thats all i need to know , i searching for answer 2 years ... Yes im going only for speed , to achieve my goal , so i think i'll wait for direct drive than . But ill will get pedals V3 +racecore24 break mod .This is always a very personal matter but Team Redline are probably the best simracers (and real racers) in the world and they use our equipment. Two of our drivers just finished the 24h of Nürburgring in P1 and P2.
Between the CS WB V2.5 and our CSL Elite Racing Wheel there is only a bigger difference if you use our more heavy Clubsport steering wheels.
The more important step to improve lap times are our load cell pedals.
If pure speed is your goal I would save on the base and invest into pedals.
Finally done It! After 3 Failed T300RS Wheels (2 GT Edition's at that all within the space of a couple days) I have decided to fully Invest in Fanatec. With the Support for GT Sport in the Future & with Dirt 4/F1 2017 releasing soon I Just had to go for it. Thrustmaster have left it too long for me to trust or Invest in their new wheel & given the poor reliability of the T300RS & T150 I wanted something premium. (I had to sell My Yeezy's to Afford this Rim & Pedal Set so I do hope It's worth it...)
My only worry is UPS as they are awful at delivering anything to my address...
Ok, so for the wheel and the top pedals your looking at 720 euros. At the current exchange rate that is 811.50USD. On your site you list the shifter you mention at 200 bucks usd.520€ for a set with pedals is certainly not 1200 USD and please consider that Euro prices include a 20% VAT.
We do have the ClubSport Shifter which is H-pattern and sequential and we will come up with a new series of CSL Shifters as well which will be priced very competitive.

So 200 + 811.50 = 1011.50. Ok so not QUITE $1200, but less then $200 shy of it. Considering in my post i gave a rough estimate, i think i would say i was pretty close. Now mind you, that total price of 1011.50 is not including any states sales tax, which can vary between 0 to 10% or more depending on the state.
So, after tax, depending on the state in which you reside, you are gonna be just shy of 1200 bucks. Certaintly not far away enough to argue the fact of what amounts to a couple bucks, especially when your talking over a grand.
Current prices from eu website:
520 euros - CSL Elite PS4™ Starter Kit for PC and PS4 Model: B-CSL E RWPS4EP
140 euros - CSL Elite Pedals Loadcell Kit
660 euros - Total
converted to US$ - US$744
Welcome to the club of really fast failures. Can't wait for availability here in North America, doing the same jumpThe reason why is because my brand new T300 RS went bad after only a few hours of use, about 4!! The thing just started to disconnect after 20 minutes of play every time during a race! I'm sure I didn't hear the fan (which I could on my T500).
I'm not sure how that can be true:Fanatec tech support stated the load cell brake function will only work with supported games unfortunately
So you're gambling on paying the Extra for the pressured brake function which may not work on consoles. Deterring me from buying the kit now as I don't have a PC.
Dear James,
Thank you for your enquiry,
Fanatec products are compatible and ready to go for the consoles, but the game and console developers have the last word which signals will be send out to the hardware,so it is possible that the function is fully supported in one game, but probably not or not in full in other games. We are sorry that we are not able to give you a detailed information,on which games you can use the full range of your pedal set,you can inform yourself on the websites of the developers.
Thank you very much for your understanding.
"Load cell brake function"? There's no brake and load cell brake differential to be noted at all. It's the brake.... that's it. If the pedals are supported, then the brake will work. You should have trusted the answer from @skazz (someone with many years of Fanatec experience), because now you're spreading false summations around and potentially filling others with unfounded concern.Fanatec tech support stated the load cell brake function will only work with supported games unfortunately

I'd be interested to know what the actual question to Fanatec support was. He's just quoting what Fanatec support told him - don't shoot the messenger
So about $620 for the CSL Elite PS4? That steps all over the CSW V2.5 at that price... I'm probably missing something, right? And please consider that this is the price incl. VAT.
The Euro price without VAT is 620 USD and this is the range where the US price will probably end up. And as we are selling online, there will be no US sales tax applicable unless you live in CA because we ship from CA.
And there will be cheaper shifter options coming up as well.
Potentially stupid question incoming...
Any chance this could be used with Thrustmaster's pedals and shifter (T3PA-PRO and the TH8A, respectively), on a PS4?
I believe this is only possible on PC, with their special adapter: http://www.thrustmaster.com/en_UK/products/trj12-usb-adapter. I'm planning to to this myself, i.e. get the CSW2.5 + P1 (PS4) steering wheel if that's possible/sensible and then combine those with my T3PA-PRO pedals with the help of that adapter.I believe they have their own system which is not compatible to ours. But perhaps some 3rd party suppliers will come up with an adapter. I heard that our pedals work with their wheels so...
This would be a problem for people who play at night when others are in bed. Not good.I recently received my CSL Elite wheelbase (Tuesday) after selling on my V2 base.
To be perfectly honest, i think it's inferior to my old V2 - not only on the build quality side but with general use it has a horrible 'clattering' noise from the ffb (i don't have it set high).
At first i thought i might have a faulty base but upon watching review videos on YouTube (The Simpit etc) of the Xbox One version it seems that this is normal. Quite disconcerting as you can hear it downstairs from where i have it hard mounted to my RS1 rig.
Look what the delivery man just delivered to me :-)
