eKretz, I need your advise :D, could the stock CSW motors also flame out on games titles like euro truck simulator 2 and city car driving :confused: i occasionally play AC :lol:

What do you mean by "flame out?" If you mean burn up and start shutting the wheel down or start feeling "gritty" I would guess that it could certainly still happen but would probably take a lot longer since with that kind of sim you're probably doing a lot of straight line driving, right? Most of the force/power sent to the motors is when you're fighting the wheel in turns, and racing makes turning the wheel a lot more difficult than just cruising down the street.

I can give you a link where you can buy some, but before I do, I want to make sure you're aware that they don't just bolt right in. You need to do some machining, etc. All explained on the first page of this thread and throughout.

hey eKretz, i read the explaining a couple of days ago and i work as technical engineer so i'll be fine i guess haha :D:D...could you otherwise PM me the link ?? :lol:

Right, but do you have capability for machining work? I'll PM you the link. PM Blue028 and ask him how it went without a lathe and milling machine? IIRC he had some issues trying to do things with just a drill press and wasn't real happy with how they turned out - he's planning on redoing it I believe he said.

@eKretz i need your opinion
couple days ago i tried for the first time CSW on PC, nothing strange until today, like i said from another thread, FFB felt strange
very strong in the center of wheel (i did not change any settings) and wheel seems to be back to the center as if Drift is enable which it doesnt
and same sort of issue on PS3 aswell
changing settings doesnt affect well
and i noticed huge boost of fan couples times
when i launch Fanatec Property page, i made all test and all worked fine except FFB, nothing...

Hmm, never heard of anything similar before. Try resetting your wheel using the menu button and maybe re-flashing the firmware.

Ah that is a good point - the broken English threw me off a bit. SPR will definitely make things a bit stronger around center. No FFB response when doing the test in the driver properties screen is pretty unusual though. And a sudden change in strength (as if SPR has been adjusted up) without changing any settings is also odd.

thanks @bruzski
i gonna try this

@bumer
on PC, SPR doesnt run, its console function and it appeared first on my wheel while i was playing on PC

@eKretz
More than huge resistance to the center, i couldnt turn wheel into corner
i noticed also when i was out of the track which happened always with this issue lol, wheel auto-returned to the center, it was fairly noticeable
the other strange change i have noticed, linearity seems to be increase, i was shaking on the straight line
remember all these settings have been disabled
the only good points its when i lowered FFB from wheel settings, SPR seemed to be off but you lost FFB strength
i will try buzski's recommendation

i flashed firmware, same issue
i can describe more
actually wheel doesnt allow me to turn more than 45-60 degrees, otherwise it will stuck with resistance from the center of wheel
when i lowered under 70 FFB from wheel settings, it disappeared
opposite settings doesnt work even if i put 10 FFB from in-game and let FF at max from wheel settings

i dont see this function?
maybe i found what s wrong
left turn, no issue
right turn, no its stuck at certain rotation, i couldn't up to the stop position of the right turn
70 degrees to be accurate
while on left turn i can up to 200 degrees

It's in the advanced tab I believe we're you find the damper setting and rotation setting. Sounds very odd to me, is the wheel calibrating ok?

To do the reset you need to hold the tuning menu button down for ~10 seconds.

i am done
first, now CSR-E pedals that i need to unplug and plug again, otherwise throttle pedal doesnt seem to work when running fanatec property test
flashed again and reset settings by default
same issue and even worse, when i am turning wheel, it has barely slight effects from game
e.g turning at 200 degrees on the left side, game stuck at 60/70 degrees

there is no auto-spring setting from fanatec clubsport wheel property page...

the really bad thing is how to contact Fanatec and explain my issue and i lost invoice bill from email
just have serial and history order from my account

The best way is most likely to go on your account page on the fanatec website and provide a video of what is happening, like for any other issue. You do not need the invoice bill, your wheel, like all the other item you bought from Fanatec will be listed on your account page.
It always worked for me, first you get a confirmation email that they have received your email and then they will contact you via email again to let you know what to do next.
They are pretty good and fast usualy. Let us know how it is evolving and good luck.
