That extended preview was much better than the trailer shown on Sunday. Really looking forward to this now more than I was.
Heres the complete version with 3:22 of preview.
Update 2: Extended first look posted -
We don't know that yet.Yes very shocked she shot Dom. But obviously to maintain her "cover" with the current crew she is working for.
It's no stretch of the imagination to figure out how it might work: she resents him for leaving her behind. If she is against Dom that would just be plain stupid.
What was the "filler" movie you are talking about? I hope you are not talking about Tokyo Drift. That was easily the worst of the series imo.I like how the filler movie turned out to be the best in the series
They confirmed 7 movies after the 5th one was released & that 7 would be the final one as it'll be set after Tokyo Drift & most likely wrap up everyone.LOL wut? I thought that they were saying that there was only going to be six...guess they couldn't keep their hands out of the cookie jar long enough.
The main character is annoying.

Because it's not a particularly well-made film. Why do people hate Tokyo Drift that much
Because it's not a particularly well-made film.
The franchise had a ridiculous presmise to begin with, but Tokyo Drift was so ridiculous that it somehow managed to make its predecessors seem plausible.
It's a world where high school students can somehow afford to own current-model imports (do they refer to them as "domestics" in Japan, since they were built there?) that have been extensively modified. The first film at least made the effort to explain how the characters could afford their cars. But it does Focus on a different car culture and it doesn't portrait it that badly
With Fast Five, the studio consciously made the decision to move the franchise away from a series about illegal street racing, and towards the heist film genre. They felt that limiting it to street racing would mean the series would get stale quickly, and heist films opened up more potential for stories to tell.In the trailer, it seemed that FaF is going military. I'm pretty sure the whole point of the movie is to go fast, not blow people's brains up!

The whole scene there was run by DK who does have a wealthy uncle and does his own dirty work. It's a world where high school students can somehow afford to own current-model imports (do they refer to them as "domestics" in Japan, since they were built there?) that have been extensively modified. Tokyo Drift is nothing more than an attempt to profit off the popularity of drifting, and does so by cobbling together cliches of gangsters with honour, Japanese culture, sport films in general and tie it all off with pseudo-zen philosophising. It's basically an exploitation film, but without the sex, violence or drug use.

It's still a cheap half-explanation for half the stuff in the film. I can udnerstand one character being able to afford a car like that, but not all of them. The whole scene there was run by DK who does have a wealthy uncle and does his own dirty work.
But that's its problem: it doesn't respect its own material. It might only be light entertainment, but the film alternates between taking itself far too seriously (like Han's explanation of why he's willing to let the main character write off his car) and not taking itself seriously enough (like when a group of high school students all have hyper-expensive cars).Fair but Too harsh of a criticism for a movie that at it's core just focuses on cars.
By the time FAST FIVE came around, the franchise had already exhausted its potential for racing sequences. After a while, they just get boring. The problem was that the film had been preceded by three very mediocre entries, which just wasted any potential for it.Biggest problem for me with Fast Five is they could have created a balance between racing and heists ,like classic mentioned we could have atleast seen the Porsche race .
