Batmobile, because Batmobile.

It looks amazing in person. ;)

Burton Batmobile is always a good pick, but it gets replicated a fair amount.

Now let's see: Batmobile, Mach 5, Red Bulls, hmm.....

Normally, I'd dive into fandom and put up a pic of the Eliminator, but in this case, I'll go one step further because why not...

The Afterburner, essentially a '33 Ford Coupe as a 🤬🤬 SPACE SHIP!

Wait, this does count right?

It's the Red Skull's car from Captain America. A very clean, classic design. Similar to the car in the "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen", but while I like the baroque excesses of that car, I prefer this one.
Ah yeah! Forgot this one.

Damn Daniel Simon is kinda a design god to me... I'll take that too.

Nike One (2022) from GT4.
That relies on fitness for speed. Might take a while to get to where I want to go at 2 mph

Let's hope it isn't blown up by the head of the ruling gang...

Not that this is my favorite, but seeing all these old toon cars on here, I just had to:

Animatronic Volkswagen buggy. Yellow jumpsuit. Terrific special effects. Girl in yellow jumpsuit... What more could you ask for?

I honestly don't remember a single episode, but I had the coloring book, the comic coloring book and other merch. There was a time I would have killed for that green and white jersey...

More (including rare footage) here:

And speaking of rare stuff:

...so dark... so mysterious... whatever could it be under that Countach-shaped reflective tape? :dopey:

A Lightrunner from the 80s?

Back in those days, neon-light effects had to be done in-camera. Which means reflective tape and powerful lights. Which means the car had to be completely matte black so as not to reflect any light.

It's amazing how much they put into computer graphics for such a short TV show... or perhaps that was why it was so short... imagine the cost of renting/leasing/buying a Countach and a JetRanger, painting both matte black and covering both with silver tape for shooting. Then the cost of all the fancy vector graphics in the show....

I know... It's kinda a huge "This is how far we've come world" too

Original TRON vs TRON: Legacy is an astonishing difference

Some more!!

The Veloci from Midnight Club 2. If it weren't for this game, I'd never have a love for the Saleen S7 in the first place. What i think is an amazing piece of work, with an amazingly sinister World Champion driving it, and you get something that overpowers the Saikou XS's godlike reflexes and handling, and the Torque JX's all around speed and toughness, adding one more nitro stock and the Boost system.. FREAKING BOOST!

Honorable mentions go to the Schneller V8 & Lusso XT's big bulk, the Bryanston V's pink, and the Saikou XS for being the better looking Supra the world needs.

Patriot V8 XR from Motorstorm Apocalypse. In Bubberstorm, you play as BubberCar. Lead your Stormers to their certain demise; they must all be exterminated.

wat

In Motorstorm: Apocalypse, Muscle cars are supreme straight liners, making them a very hard car to use along with the Supercars. And again: i was about to go with Falfer Undertaker, if i hadn't have a love for current gen muscle cars. In fact, I'm better at Motorstorm than most racing games.

Speed Demons' Nitro Lightning from Stunt GP. Granted, a very elusive racing game today, but a racing game where using the pits is mandatory to win a normal race. YES I SAID IT, EAT IT GT6 HAHA!

Why Nitro Lightning, you ask? Stuck at only 260 speed units, it is the slowest car in the game due to it's 5 gear setting. I like it because it's available from the start, it looks damn good, and in the championship mode, you can give it the speed shifter gears, which will make it go faster than the Quickster on his trips to that mountain in the back. It also comes with the NITRO engine: the best engine in the game, which is only seen in no other car aside the Team 17 cars (the gang who brought us the Worms franchise).

On topic on Stunt GP, it has some of the most awesome OST of any racing game. Come and have a look!

On topic of RC cars, we have the Aquasonic from RC Revolt!

The Aquasonic is an Amateur class car (class 2 outta 5), but stand out how? Aside from the fishmarket and aquarium influenced livery, it's the first RC car that'll use the Glow sound. What is Glow? Emm, i don't really know a difference between glow and electric classes, but late in the game, every car turns to Glow.

So, Glow is top tier. This car invented the Glow. But you're more likely to unlock the Panga TC for your glow needs, but it's an Advanced class car (class 3), and there are a few more glowers there. Aquasonic gets my vote for being the ONLY class 2 with Glow.

Split/Second brought us so much carnage in a racing game, but the Cobretti Pursuit is one car I managed to salvage from the million dollars of explosions within. Being the poster boy of the game, you wouldn't say i like it because of that. If it were, then I'd drive the C7 in GT6, which i haven't gotten to yet (C6 ZR-1 still taking my heart).

Well, in Split/Second, there's these pre=set car time trial events that's known to be Nintendo Hard to get gold in. The Pursuit shows up in one of these, and I'm expecting to spend about 2 hours getting gold. Guess what?

I didn't.

I got it gold, first try, and no resets. Saved about 1 hour 58 minutes of my life, and i added it to my most driven car in Split/Second. It drifts better than the final car, and i wouldn't have such a sour experience putting the Elite to shame while i call in a giant cargo plane crash, bring down a tanker, blow up nuclear cooling towers, destroy train tracks, blow up a skyscraper...

in short this game is AWESOME.
