FCCCC sounds fun, if we meet online next weekend I'm all for it.

jjaisli: After reading a few of these thread's last posts I went to check the 250 LM lap records in the tracks where we ran our challenge. It seems we did some very decent laptimes! đź‘Ť

If you have the 250lm, you can get both the testarossa and the gto by winning the 250lm trophy race. I'm not sure how I got the 250lm.

Yeah, but I think the times are going to drop like a stone in water after the first FCCCC event. :) A lot of the faster drivers just haven't bothered to set times with the classic cars. So either you and I are total ACES with the classics or people just haven't put the hammer down. (As much as I wish it were the first, I'm guessing it's the 2nd one). I mean, you and I raced in the WET at Silverstone and we're both in the top 10 on the Leaderboard. It just can't be.

I didn't mention it before but during the race at Mont Tremblant I was really on a flier with my 3rd lap. It was beautiful, just flowing from corner to corner and then I totally screwed up the final chicane. :ouch: I probably lost 3-4 seconds and it's a shame becaue I'm sure it would have been a record lap. So the last lap I just took it easy.

Yeah, the 250 LM is really a tricky car with which to put in a 'perfect' lap. Heck, even in the dry, going into the hairpin braking zone at Montreal, you want say a prayer before hitting the brakes.

watch
are you online to night Hw? FC?

"Practise session" ... I see ... I'm doomed! :ill:

Hereward, it seems you don't visit your own member page, so I'll ask you again here to pick a 3rd track. I'm still at the office, so I'll probably be a bit late for racing. Tomorrow I have my last meeting scheduled to 19.30 PM, and it will probably last for a long time too. So ... if neither today or tomorrow we meet, I propose we schedule our races to saturday night, around 10.00 PM GMT .

If we meet still today or tomorrow night, we'll go for it sooner. Ok?

Hmm yeah the guy wa quick but was quite happy to shove you if you got in his way, I had lots of races with Segal and on most courses he was a second a lap quicker than me but if he made a mistake and I got through or I started ahead of him he would happily sit on my back bumper lap after lap waiting for a gap even if one never came and he finished behind me he wouldn't barge through. same with oxley though he'll give you a "friendly'" rub down the straights or protect his line agresivley he never once put me off the tarmac, he put my wingmirrors off the track but he'd gently detach them from my car first LOL

Anyone up for FCCCC racing this weekend I was thinking around 11.00PM G.M.T. might work for both N.A. & EU players. If we have enough interest, we could run one or two lobbies of 4 racers in each.

Hun not been too well matey and the late night racing isn't too apealing at the moment so by default you win. No if buts or maybes I forfit the race I'll challenge you at a later date when I'm up to nocternal racing LOL

Scrub the above, Hun graciously held the race this afternoon for me, Ran 5 of the 7 races with us switching start positions per race, some really close races, noteabley monza where the lead changed places 3 times on the final lap alone and spa where it changed at least twice per lap! throughout the 5 races there were 2 very light touches between us which considering the close racing was quite something. anyway with 2 races to be ran later today I'm 4 - 1 up.

I will be there at 11.15 G.M.T. today for vintage racing. Anyone interested please join in... đź‘Ť

I have some guests coming tonight and won't be able to run an event. But ironically one of them wants a little PS3 action so if you don't mind, I may pop in for a 'quickie'. (Just to show him)

I was prety shakey but managed to keep it on the track, Hun had a couple of trips off the track which gave me a chance, the races were very close and I won mostly due to Huns bad luck. when you look at the lap times people are getting theres realy only tenths in it between people, thats nothing in a race so it realy comes down to keeping consistant and really holding that racing line, most passing was done when either me or hun ran wide on a corner or drafting down the straigts.
Oh yeah we used the 512 S tracks were Monza, Silverstone, Mugello, Hoknhiem and SPA with misano and infinion still to race.

Big thing with the 512 S is kerbs.......don't even look at them let alone hit them, the car is VERY stiff and will go airbourne LOL cutting over the curbs really isn't an option with it but it's got good brakes for a 1971 LM car and overal quite good handleing althogh bumpy tracks need a bit of care when accelerating.

Sorry guys i'm out of this. PS3 died. I have a back up ps3 now to use but lost my game save which was 100% complete and really don't want to play through the game again to unlock all the cars so most likely will just get rid of the game now.
