I had no idea how difficult Monaco was with the F'10, Damn. I had to do some practice earlier today after we did a practice race the other day with gangsta and antz and nearly got lapped on a an lap race. I managed to do a 1:11 on a full tank and 1:09 on a light tank but tyre wear here is bad and you tend to lose a bunch of secs when tyres are just above 50% so a good rhythm and pit strategy will be key here FYI i dunno how u guys on the Pads do it here.
FYI, i will definitely need a drinks bottle for this this track for my beer and i will have to use my left hand as i will be doing more up-shifts than downshifts, don't wanna accidentally knock the bottle over and ruin my wheel coz my left hand is pretty useless.

Yes tyre wear is incredible.
I think only way is a 4 stoper.

Does anyone besides me want to race Spa in rain or at least mixed conditions?
I am useless in the rain, but this is all for fun right? well, except for the lil Helicopters. But i am up for mixed conditions, it would be awesome if there was a definite guarantee of both dry and wet so that we can laugh at those that get on the wrong tyre, will probably be me.

That is really not nice.

You being bad at it makes me want to do it even more.:dopey: The few races I've done in the wet I did pretty well, all things considered. It's not undriveable. Granted I've never driven the F10 in wet only F2007. Maybe your style doesn't suit the wet, but I wouldn't say it's undriveable. I think one of our races should have some rain, and Spa is the only one with a weather option left. Plus I have so much commentary about rain and changing conditions and water coming off the tires.

Not good when its a bit slippery eh? Maybe ya'll should do some snow/wet races. :sly:

I have test that in spa with Reventon10 3 weeks ago.
And he spin also evry corner.
The F10 is much more difficult then the F7.
But we can test it in when the Saeson is over in the Pre Saeson Race.
 
I was messing around in the rain on Spa with Rev a few weeks back too. I'm ok if it's decided to race in the rain. I didn't spin out too much and kept ahead of Rev - probably due to my lack of speed.
 
Hello. I'd race in the rain. That statement will probably come back and bite me as I'm finding the F10 a hard car to drive. It feels nothing like the Formula GT car. Last night I couldn't get round the second hairpin but I've gave it some thought today and will try and get on top of it tonight. Is anyone on testing tonight.

I was actually gonna bring up the topic about a rain race back before Suzuka but some how
knew it wouldnt happen . Just did a few laps of Spa in the wet out of curiosity 93% wet got me 2:19

Having trouble setting the ballance of my car up it understeers into a corner and oversteers out .
Im sitting on a 1:13.30 ive managed to make up .400 up but loose it in the last 2 corners.
Ive even gotten near the 13.3 on mediums. I can only really make the front tires on softs last for 6 laps if anyone is willing to share a setup id like to try it, and if you dont want other's to see it you can message me at either PSN or GTP .
Im kinda of at the edge of my tunning knowlege.

Yes its incredible hard.
The hairpin and the corners after that are so difficult incredible.
When i drive half about the cerb i spin.
I must drive full on the cerb then i dont spin.
 
Ye theres some dangerous curb's there .
i got 12.9 on softs & 13.2 on hards
Hards may go to 15 laps but times for even the fast guys at that period will be at 1:14 area
softs by 10 laps should be undrivable.
This all based on tire ware better than i was seeing.

I hope everyone turn's out this may be a closer race.
 
I make a 4 stoper all other is for me to dangerous.

4 stops, Really??? i managed to do 15 laps on one set of softs but i was losing about 2 secs a lap after lap 10, a pitstop is about 30 secs so i might run a slower pace and do a 2 stopper. But if i spin like you said you do lose a lot of tyres and will be forced to stop again. Oh and if u spin on a tight spot you will lose half a lap trying to get out, as a full turn wont be enough to go around, you will need to do a 10 point turn :)

And i agree, if IMMORTAL cant race in the wet, then ALL races from now on must be wet :)

Yes 4 stops i think but iam not 100% sure.

Next Saeson we can test in Pre Saeson wet tracks and we can vote then.
But this Saeson lets drive all dry.
For me is wet like Poker.

Once again, sorry man, maybe next season I will have a bit more pace to at least be competitive:tup:. You run a great series, we will be racing in the future for sure.

Sorry Tony, I can't find the time and patience to learn this car, I am going to have to withdraw my entry as I havent even made a race yet!! Once again, sorry man, maybe next season I will have a bit more pace to at least be competitive:tup:. You run a great series, we will be racing in the future for sure.

I think I might withdraw too, since I started my wheel transition a couple of days back. But I'll give myself a chance and see what happens on Monaco. If it doesn't work out too well, I'll have to resign and practice in a wider scale.

Try it mate iam sure with practise you are fast.
That is normel when you get a wheel you must practise heavy to be fast.

I don't get why people don't wanna race at Monaco or anywhere else for that matter because the car is too difficult to drive. We all struggle with the F'10 but the reason we keep going is for the fun and to learn from IMMORTAL as he is super helpful and super-fast (In anything that he drives). I did an F1 Championship before and used the F2007 and was easier to drive and i take my hat off to those that used the F'10. I personally believe that if you race against fast guys, that's the only way you learn to be quick, also watching replays as to where others brake and accelerate is helpful. I'm not having a go at anyone but its all about the fun IN A DIFFICULT car and because you don't have a chance of winning dosen't mean you should pull out.

On a lighter note, i tested the medium tyre and it is was about a second slower and only lasted 3 or 4 laps more than the soft. So with my rubbish math i think i will start on softs and switch to mediums halfway(or the other way round) and i should be able to do a 2 stopper and try and jump the 4 stoppers. Hopefully my strategy will work so now i can't wait now for the race to start :)

That is correct ArtMannn.
This car is heavy difficult.
I drive also other series and there i need 30 mins practise that is enough.
But on this series i need some hours on the Week.
When you Guys practise good then you are fast.
GANGSTA practise also only and Pota and ArtMannn also and that help.

I think today is the difficult Race that i have ever.
 
I'm sorry I had to leave so abruptly... I was really frustrated that I kept spinning out and I'd thought it might annoy other drivers..
