Good Joe iam Thursday and Friday there the whole night there for practise.
I see that i can help you a bit.
Then i can test a bit in the rain.

I can do super slow 1.45.0xx. Tried all sorts of set ups and nothing helps me. I'm sure you will do better than 1:39s.

The FGT with SRF & AS/TCS does 1:39. :sly: I think immortal has his work cut out for him to consistently do 1:42s during the race.

My advice is to focus on consistency Oshawa. If you can run 1:45 the entire way it makes no difference if your fastest lap is 3 secs off. Well not a huge disadvantage anyways. :sly:

Yes consistently is important.
I drive in free run always full speed.
But in the race i drive never full speed.
Because its to risky and cost tyres.
Only with low fuel i drive 3 laps or so full speed for the lap record.

OK, now you're just trying to make us mere mortals mad. I have to drive at my absolute ragged edge to even think of not getting lapped.

My car set up actually feels much better at Spa than Monaco, and is a beast on Indy Road Course. Consistent mid 1:45s should be fairly easy to get at Spa, but it's so much off the pace of the F2007. With practice I was doing 1:41s with it. So much easier to drive compared to the F10.

Im gonna have to run a real online race to get a good feel for the car aswell as a real laptime .
Problem with Spa is its hard to tell where you loose time than any other track:confused:

I'll be on tonight to practice about 11pm edt. Have to split my time between the F10 at Spa and the Roadster in the rain at Monza. If anyone is around, jump in and I'll switch the track to Spa.

I come in 10 mins for some practise.
For me is spa the best f1 track on GT5.
But Silverstone and China are my favorite tracks sad that is not on GT5
When you Guys have time we can drive this saturday on the race time from sunday a 40 lap practise race.
That is the best practise for the race.

We can do a short practice race tonight if you are on. Myself, I'm still working on learning proper "lines" and have found it helpful to use arcade or practice mode where I can chase my own ghost and figure out where I gain or lose time. I know the physics are different, but I think it helps me improve my line in the end. Now consistency is another issue and the more I push the more mistakes I make.

See you guys out there.

I have drive some practise laps with Wilso.
He is good in spa.
I think with more practise he can fight also in the front places.
I must work on my gears very difficult in spa.
Today evening iam there to practise with you guys.

I'll be pleased if I can finish the race this time.

Well if i can find time in sector 2 and a bit in 3 yes
I was only .400 off you in sector 1 with you at a 1:42
I'll be pleased if I can finish the race this time.
Ye i was quite upset that both in Monza and Monaco i was literally 1 second away.
Spa is not so hard like Monte Carlo.

But Monaco was so fun.

Immortal, join now. Wilso, Leyba and I are on.

update: having connection issues today.

It was a bad practice race. I tried setting LSD to 5 5 60 as per someones recommendation and it was a complete disaster. My rear tires wore down to 0% in 4 laps. I was finding it very difficult to get the the pit for new tires and then had a disconnect. I think I'm going back to my Leguna Seca settings as it was the most stable I think.

What time do you expect to be on?

60 brake is much to high that destroy you tyres.

Lets drive small practise races that help us.
And Guys try to drive without ABS i drive always without and the car feels better without ABS.

No worries tool, like i said at that point we have cold tyres and this is the problem with the same coloured cars, u don't know who your team mate it :) I guess we both want to be the Number one Driver, you let me pass easily when i caught up anyways so no harm done. Maybe we should talk to the Team Principal next time before airing our dirty laundry in public, but i though i heard him say "You need to maintain the gap tool" or was it "tool is faster than you" then i said "What is he doing??" :D oh well dosen't matter anyways, its just after a race you wanna let off some steam (coz SOMEBODY SHOULDA HAD 4 stops) but u need to put yourself in the other persons shoes and it was difficult to judge whether the person in front had braked or not.

Ohh, I'm just giving Immortal grief for trying to sell us the 4 stop story. I have some commentary audio about "that's a good psychological move", I just need "they were thinking of a 4 stopper, 1-2 more than anybody else."

On our contact lap 1. I can't believe that sent you around. Were your rear tires red during gameplay into Casino Square? That sucks, I don't even think I noticed contact during the race. Just saw you spin out on the side of me.

My logic later when you went by at Mirabeau was I had many laps to try and catch Potato, and failed. Might as well give my teammate, who had to battle hard core to get back, a shot. Plus I was screwing up left and right. I was also hoping I could tail you and maybe learn something, figure out where I was losing time, but my tires were way down. I totally stink with tires below 50%, and for me they get there fast. I have to figure my tire wear issues soon.

That why i usually always out brake people with ABS i run 10/10 brake bias :D
got super brakes so dont try out brake me . but yeah it does kill the tires so offten ill brake hard at first and coast into the corner.

Anyway im practicing atm your room was to early for me.

And i learned a few interesting things , i got a 1:44.3 with the room set to low grip
then on real grip my first stint was undrivable the car felt as if somone had lowerd my rear wing 20 degrees and after 3 laps of the car randomly spinning off for no (realistic) reason i needed new tire's.
but i struggled through it and im at a 1:44.9

I think this may have been discussed and I missed it. The World time converter on the OP is telling me that the race start is an hour earlier than usual. 5PM EDT vs 6PM EDT. I'd actually prefer if it was earlier, but not sure if it is.

There has been wet testing done by many. Are we racing Spa with some weather or not?

Did a few practice races with Starking7 last night- good to see him again. I changed back to my previous set up and the car is much more balanced and the tires once again last a long time. Was doing consistent 1:45s so I will stay with that.

Is the timer not correct.
We have start the last 2 races one hour to late.
I mean one hour earlier then the last 2 races.
On my clock is the timer correct.
I have test wet a bit that is to heavy next Saeson we can vote it then.
