Thats a nice setup to drive ripping_silk. Would have made my best race time if it wasnt for my customary "once per race spinout".

shame, you looked quicker straight off the bat. yes its a nice car to drive, can do faster laps more consistently. If it 'really' quick or not.. not so sure.

Very laggy this last race. Sorry to everyone I might have hit because of it!

Thanks everyone for the great races today, especially ripping_silk who put up with my spinning out many times when it was only he and I racing.

I learned a lot today by following you around (when I could keep up that is)

Same here, Damn lag, new fastest lap from me on lap 8, no slip.

Thought that would have been a fast lap. Mine was 2'05.9 I think, behind you. Well done 👍
Nice pic btw :)

Damn, thats quick. I must be doing something wrong so I'll study the "aces" tomorrow from the back of the pack and try to learn something.

I cannot believe the punting this time of day!! in one lap the whole field spread over the entire circuit.
Now I can see what Grim was talking about yesterday!! :grumpy: 👎

that's why i almost never race at this time. somewhere between 10:00pm and 3:00am GMT is the best time to race online to avoid punters. it's not a guarantee.

I think you're right, we had a great series of racing yesterday at the times you said.
I'm a glutton for punishment. In again at xx:20.

Really, I love turn 1 and spoon with this tune. I can get super fast exit speed out of those two corners with this tune. Thanks again to GTP_Tzayad for making this tune. I know it's for 600pp Daytona Road, but it's excellent at this event as well.

Yes exactly the same for me, I feel the TZT 600PP tune I adapted for Suz was absolutely a dream into Turn 1 and out of Spoon (when I got it right).

I just need to find a way of maintaing just a bit more apex speed in the second "s", the slow right hander because I swear I was doing a 55.0xx in T1 earlier but now I can only hit 55.4 due to slow apex speeds at ess 2, around about 79mph. When I can carry 82-85mph through there I get a much better laptime.

All the best
Maz

I've been working on a tune for this, I can't get that TZT tune to work, nor Volvano's so perhaps my input will be worth something to someone else out there.

Still can't do 05's though, doh!

Edit:

Right, here is my tune. How some of you guys are running these F430's (or any cars) with positive toe upfront and negative toe at rear is beyond me!

Too bad I had time for just one or two races yesterday, full grids! Calcifer, sorry about the bad start, I bumped the shifter and lost all my momentum.

I'll be on in a bit.

Appreciate you waiting Synwraith, but that was an experiment on s2's. :(

That's fine mate, the guy running second was a punter so I had no interest in racing him. I thought it might have been S tyres because you were blistering on straights but had to wait a long time to put the power down.

All the best

Maz what have you done with TZT tune that you put up yesterday? Its changed and I dont like it  Yesterday it worked fine and today its seems werid.

Sorry guys, first race out today, and I wasnt getting any of the apexes right, so I decided to sit it out.

That's very interesting because I haven't been able to nail a single 2'05 in free air since 2 days ago. I had this same damn problem in the Subaru. I never touched the tunes, and yet as the days went by I got slower and slower.

From now on I will race on the first day of any event, then go and do something else for a month!

Me too. Yesterday I was doing 05's and today I can only do mid 06's in free air. Then I pushed hard to see if I could, and ended up spinning correcting oversteer when there was none before

:ouch::ouch::ouch:

I find that once I've been off on a corner I tend to be over_cautious on that corner, then another gets added to the list and so on, until I'm not doing the laptimes I was. Then I go to free run to try and get it right and most of the time I get my lap times back up again.
