Did the host quit? Or did I lose connection?
God knows what setup Vaxen was using, but it appeared low grip & high power. I would be all over him in the turns then on the straights he would just go.
Going bed now, been up for 20 hours, I can no longer focus and keep making silly mistakes.
Night all or Morning.
WOW! Great race mad94d!!![]()
Well driven ripping_silk. I managed a PB of 2:06:354 while following you, until my nerves packed up on lap 6, while you were cool as a cucumber. 👍
Yep absolutely awesome racing.
My best lap here is: 2'05.2xx
You are over a 1.5 seconds better than me
No worries, I also missed xx:20, having a coffee and nerves break.
Going to try those settings Mad94d, although I dont have your skills with the wheel.
Its definitely faster than the tune I was using, which was a concoction of a bunch of other tunes plus some personal tweaking. Turn 1 and spoon are difficult to get right though.
Really, I love turn 1 and spoon with this tune. I can get super fast exit speed out of those two corners with this tune. Thanks again to GTP_Tzayad for making this tune. I know it's for 600pp Daytona Road, but it's excellent at this event as well.![]()
after my initial umm.. acclimatisation with it..(say sand), i got a 6.269 from it. Not quick, but close to my best. A few more laps i could get under 6 perhaps. Difficult to drive though. Which I expected with those rather high camber settings. Other the that, it was not far from what my tune was. maybe I'll nudge the camber back a little and feel my way into it.
Wow, this is hilarious. I haven't raced or tuned since mid december, and you all are trying to put a square peg into a round hole. I will be reopening my garage with tunes specific for this event within the next week. Thanks Maz and Mad94d for the great feedback, I'm so glad the tune is working so well for you.
With the power increase, completely different track dynamics, and tires, there are a ton of changes I'd like to make. Feel free to keep using the 600PP tune if you wish. I think the 650PP tune may work better, however.
Ripping-silk, I know what you mean about the toe settings. Though the toe would be a lot more appropriate in, lets say, a tune specific for the event it's being used for, the car needs less steering input than you think. I only speak from how it drove on DR. Think more like the tuned 111r. Also, try playing with the max turning angle. On suzuka, I tune the turning angle on T1, and I try to find a setting where I feel comfortable in the turn, arm-wise. Glad you had some success with it though, thanks for giving it a shot!
In this post is GTP_JackStanley's lap from testing the 600PP DR tune. You can get a better idea of the tune from his lap than anything I could type.

Glad my tune is being used as a base. Hopefully the enthusiasm for this event won't wane for when I enter!
Synwraith made a mashup tune from the TZT tune as well, might as well take a look at his gears.
