I know I'm just being silly messing around, sorry. But I can imagine they have had plenty of practice, and getting it up on two wheels is no easy task either!

I'm betting there was some kind of counterweights in there, it looked rather stable and sat back down very gently.

Oh yes, absolutely both of those! As I was watching it I was thinking "man, life sure looks a lot more fun if you have no concern for the well-being of yourself or others!".

Had 15 laps at Brands this morning (my favorite track by far on GT6). Clocked a 135.4 in the 365, it always seems like there's so much more to gain in your times at Brands - part of the reason why I love it so much, so I think I could clock a few tenths lower than that and *maybe* touch a 1.34, though it would be a lucky lap and not something I could do consistently.

The 365 really goes too, I don't think anyone will have an issue with this thing being too twitchy - it understeers most of the time. Overall it's a joy at brands, though I have a lot of trouble getting good loading on turn 1, it either understeers or oversteers and it's almost impossible to balance through that corner.

Overall, good stuff. Looking forward to this one. Hope everyone has a good race tonight - looking forward to seeing just how much Longbow and King make my 11.2 in qually seem utterly unremarkable...

I think the Daytona is sublime at Brands, and just about anywhere else. It's probably one of my favorite cars in the game. It's easy to drive too, I think everyone should get on with it ok. I think I was around the 1:35's as well but haven't put a ton of serious practice in yet.

Thanks for a great first round on Tuesday (despite my crash), but please put me on reserve until July.

I'm starting school again and I'm too busy with study/exams, that it would be impractical for me to wake up early to just fit in the first race.

I would love to join the Saturday sessions, but unfortunately it's at 3:30am for me.

See you at VCRC (for those who are taking part).

I think my chances of making it tonight are slim to none!

My daughter is in a show, and I have only just found out that it will finish quite late tonight!

Sounds like you have some serious communication problems

Shame, I was really looking forward to getting another stab at overtaking you. If the room is still open when you get home, jump on in.

There are kart races on the downtown streets of my home town this weekend. My work printed a bunch of stuff for it and is a sponsor so I got to drive in the "sponsors race". Just little single speed 6.5hp karts (that aren't in the best shape) but still fun. I finished third of six, right on the tail of second place, in an average kart. Got some good door to door action and even managed an overtake on the first lap. Good stuff, I want more!

These aren't the karts we were in, these were 100cc shifter karts.

Room should be open in about 45 minutes.

Haha, that looks insanely good fun! Is that kind of thing common over there? No way any council over here would allow anyone to block off a road for a kart race :grumpy:.

They do it every year, this is the 20th year. Two other cities in the county do it once a year too, but I wouldn't consider that common. There is a world class karting facility about 25 miles south east of me, where Naptown lives. I've been there as a spectator, they have rental karts but the few times I tried to go it always ended up raining. Gonna try again to get down there this summer to give the rental karts a go.

Good call. grab some pics when you do 👍.

There were a couple of new Vette's there today.

The room is open for practice. Qualifying for the first race will start around 4pm EDT and the second race will start a little after 4:30pm.

Disconnected, then black screen so I had to quit the game, then the PS3 crashed with a 3 bipper and now it's restoring files system, Hope i'll be right on time for the race, no problem if I start from the back.

Just finished the first race, starting the next one after a short break. Will try to wait for you. 👍

New to this thread, and I would love to participate. Only problem is, I`m not home right now. But when are you arranging the next race? I would love to participate then. 👍

I`m truly sorry... Didn`t notice it until I posted the message. Sorry for that.

Incredible racing today guys, that was......incredible, and very intense. Seemed like most everyone had a good race and kept a good handle on the car and the field was close at the end of both races. Congratulations to the winners. A round of , on me.

No problem! Didn't mean to sound harsh, catch you next week hopefully 👍.
No problem. I werent paying full attention when I posted the message. And I hope to be racing against you as well 👍

That was seriously some of the best racing I've ever seen. I couldn't believe that I didn't make a major error in the 2nd race. Kling and Brandon just had put constant pressure on me. It was just so intense and epic and probably the most fun I've ever had on gt6. Sorry about the huge divebomb Brandon. I'm not kidding, I literally had to plug my controller in in the middle of the race .I plugged it on the starting straight and I was properly line up and it just was too late to fix my line. I just had an amazing time and just so you know, if I was on sh, I would've never won

I just noticed that daddy and torzilla were on sport mediums for the 2nd race, were they allowed or is my replay glitched?

------------------

EDIT: Well, I can consider that I had a good race. I decided to start last as it should have been reverse grid and I wasn't here for the first race. So i did it, then I started to learn this car, braking points etc (sorry btw if I disturbed anyone with my lockups). When the gap was around 6secs, I started to focus more on my consistency and I managed to close the gap to 2 secs. Right after that, and I definitely don't know why, I missed almost all my brake points and made a lot of mistakes which cost me 1 place. But it was a good race anyway.

See you next week, I'll be prepared this time ;)

@BrandonW77 : you can add me to the Saturday Afternoon drivers 👍

"*NOTE: We are allowing some of the slower drivers to use SM tires in an attempt to achieve more parity. This is an experiment right now and all drivers are expected to use the stock SH tires unless I give permission otherwise."

Post 3 .
