Hmmm I might take a punt on this.
Any ideas what time this appears on the store. UK time.

I have what may be an odd question. That image they have of the wire mesh of the Ferrari shows all the polygons as squares/four-sided shapes. I thought polygons in computer models were usually triangles?

I'll admit to having next to no idea about modelling, so I may be way wrong. It just stuck out to me.

That's what today's hardware processes. For modeling you can use whatever you want if it can be made up of triangles.

There has been hardware that used quad based methods, e.g. Nvidia NV1 and Sega Saturn.

Got it. First impression after one lap arcade: It feels like the other system 3 games, which is not a bad think.

You have to unlock a lot. I hope I can give it some more time tonight.

There's loads of inertia going on. I like that.

Graphics are not too bad at all.

Sound is mediocre.

It's only 15 Euro's. Good value for money.

Well what do you expect for a game announced a UNDER a month before release...... I am just waiting on videos of it :)

What cars & tracks does it have?

Much worse than I thought, never played Trofeo Pirelli, was it that bad?

:grumpy:

Well there was just something about ferrari challenge I didnt like, it didnt seem to have smooth frame rate, and just felt rubbish really, the more I played it the more I didn`t like it, so sold it on ebay for more than I actually paid for it myself. Ha

Are you playing it with FFB wheel or controller. Ferrari Challenge with FFB wheel can quite enjoyable to some people. Personally, I find it somewhat enjoyable. If it's hard, it has more to do with its quirky physics rather than realism (re: iRacing physics). I would say all the Ferraris in the game oversteer a lot. Instead of getting the impression that you are applying pressure against the (front) tires inherent self-aligning force, in FC like so many arcade racers, it feels simply as if you're just turning the wheel. In short, it can sometimes feel more like steering a motorcycle or a three-wheeler.

Ferrari The Race Experience = Ferrari Challenge

Trophy list is 100% the same, all game modes seem to be the same except for the challenges. There is now GT Race Series, Road GT Series and Classics series that let you pick from a selection of cars.

Other than that Trofeo's are the same, Arcade, menus, tutorials even the silly card collector game is still in there.

Some of the circuits have lost their original names. It's basically a downloadable version of Ferrari challenge with DLC and a slightly different campaign.

and I couldn't switch from cockpit to other views using the steering wheel. Only with the controller I could get 3rd person. I don't think I'm going to rebuy this game just to have it take up harddisk space.

I need to know if this game runs smoother than the Ferrari Challenge Trofeu Pirelli game and the tracklist...no tracklist so far ?

Edit : Thanks rocket99 , so the game is like the same has Ferrari Challenge...i´ve sold that game 1 month ago.

Is the AI any good?

In supercar challenge I felt that I was online. Cars crashing into each other at the first corner.

Is this better?

Is there any new car and track?
For those who played this, would you say it's the same game as Ferrari Challenge or better/worse?

It's got the 458italia and the 599xx I think they're new. Also has some new courses.

Personally, I quite like this for it's price. Well worth the money. Graphics when it's raining are really damn sweet. The handling is a little arcadey but mixed with sim. Hard to describe but easy to pick up.
