They're a lot of fun and I actually really love the BRZ! Having a level prohibited tuning field is definitely helping me adjust so quickly, less variables and keeps it close as tuning is not my strong point still yet . I'm glad to hear you think I was dude! I'll take it as a compliment haha, I felt I was almost holding you up, shouldn't have let you pass so easy in the end . I can't wait till next season (if there is one) so I can be in contention from the start!@Pubs16 you have nearly cracked driving these things, you were the driver outside of the top 5 that gave me the hardest time to get past, you're not far from the mark mate so keep on pressing, you'll get there,
Its hard to get past cars that seem to get the majority of their pace from straight line speed, the Lexus, and both Subaru's gave me quite a task trying to get past,

Good man, Tdz. To be honest I do know what you mean. I have run around 500 laps at motegi over the last week, as it takes me ages to get fast and not make mistakes , also it allows me to find a way to drive a track that will make tyres last , the Lexus IS front tyre limited , so here softer early breaking and faster exits was best , so I knew i may be vulnerable to full bhp cars at end of straight. Even though my exits were faster maybe . But I never know what is totally clean and not quite clean. I realise you didn't mean to bomb me, but if you had not done that you would have to sit behind me for ages. So I don't know, I drove on Bonnet view so didn't see in@Pubs16 you have nearly cracked driving these things, you were the driver outside of the top 5 that gave me the hardest time to get past, you're not far from the mark mate so keep on pressing, you'll get there,

@Stephen Vann, after watching our tremendous battle on the replay my overtake on you in turn 11 looked terribly like a divebomb, I assure you it wasn't, the laps prior i had worked out you brake quite a lot earlier then me there, i just needed to ensure i got a quality exit from the turn 10 hairpin, from that point i was already committed,
I will have a proper report for the stewards for some incidents i feel may need looking at more I'm depth,
We had just 1 driver complaining, i passed gueven and saw him being a bit laggy... If other driver complained or even one other stewards had a voice i would have stopped.
But just 1 when there's a championship to be decided how coulkd i call a restart? What if in restarted race one of those fighting in championship had a crash and the other took a fleeing lead?
Other drivers situations are honestly less important with just one race to go... I mean i am sorry for any issues other drivers had, but for most of us was "just a race".
Also it was impossible to predict for noone complained about gueven lag during the q session...

Its a difficult one really, From the back it looked like carnage, but i did not see too much that was red flaggable myself. One can never be sure but if we have had a restart i dont think Skeng would have won the race. So in theory it sounds nice Karsten but in practice the championship was more influenced by not restarting then it would have been by restarting. Not that it really matters to me but just wanted to point this out
Like the report format PJ, very nice.
It was good to be able to complete the race distance this time out, enjoyed the session.
Practice:
- Did 3 laps on Sunday, put in a 1:59, left it at that.
Pre-Qualifying::
- Qualified 4th, and made it up to 3rd early on. From that point onwards I was sitting behind the leaders, matching their pace until I dropped off near the end to guarantee 3rd place.
Race
- Qualified in 10th, could have gotten a little higher up the field, but I was held up in Qualifying and didn't have the clean air.
Made a strong start and gained a number of places while also noticing that Gueven was lagging badly. Then halfway round the lap there was a spike which took out a minimum of 3 drivers, myself included. I was the least affected but still made note of it in the Race Chat and dropped back down to 12th.
From then on my race was a recovery drive. Had some good but brief battles with Pubs and Vicars (lap 22) but other than that I was simply hotlapping and gaining spots via a strategy that kept me in clean air for the majority of the race. Finished 8th, which after the first lap incident the best I could hope for.
