@ozwheels is obviously allowed to take part in preQ and in race. But he can't race out of classification.

what cars will the reserves use ? its awkward for them if they dont know until race day.
Initially we said they would use the cars that the guys they were replacing were using?
Is it not better , as they will need to practice, for them to know which cars they are using ?

I think I'm way off the pace to make any impression on the race. It's hard to control my car one handed if the back end tries to spin and if i go off track its a nightmare to not spin.

My times are also very slow at 1.59.3 without my -20hp. Not sure if i'm racing as of yet.

thats understandable flank, have a see how you feel tomorrow ? then let us know we can then let the reserves know.

sorry guys i had so many issues and had to look through years of letters to check some taxes issues... :/

On a bright note a my GF was a nice Little Santa Girl and basically offered me to pay 1/2 of ps4... So i got a xmas present already ;)

I think OZ can race with any car a non signup driver will choose? Or maybe BRZ like last season?

Well it doesnt really matter which car, but we should make a decision and just say ? make a decision ? at least he can train .
PS4 thats great, does it play gt6 ?
 
The PS4 is not backwards compatible. There are a few racing games available for it but nothing similar enough to GT6 until Project CARS comes out in March.
 
I'm fine with any of the 4 cars but I'd like a rx-7 if possible. ;)

The ps4 doesn't play gt6 unfortunately. I have a ps4 and the only racing game out is driveclub and it's not exactly gran turismo. Project cars is the first sim to come out on next gen in March and it looks promising. The bad part about ps4 is you can only use thrustmaster wheels. I actually just got a t300 a few days ago and I can tell you the wheel part is amazing however I am still getting used to the brake pedal since it's a gazillion times more stiff than the dfgt I had.

Yup i'll be there ready when it'll be out.

Sadly with a pad since dfgt is unsupported... I for a 3 games pack in with driveclub, little big planet and last of us.

I played Project CARS on a pad recently, it felt pretty good.

Pre Race practice room 1 - IN THE CLUB LOBBY.
Will be open from 17.15 UK time
All drivers to join as they come on.
When this room is nearly full
the PreQualify room will be open By Skendengi also in the CLUB LOBBY.
Only drivers who are prequalifying and official stewards go to this room.
All other locked in drivers please stay in the prerace practice room 1.
We will come back at the end of prequalifying.

Locked in Drivers.
The first 12 in the standings have the right to claim their Locked in Slot by confirming their attendance in the race up until 4pm UK time on raceday, in the forum.
Lock in confirmation to race.
Confirming attendance ensures a locked in position if in standings from 1st - 12th.
Confirming attendance and then not being on track without a 24h warning will make a driver lose his locked in position.
Not confirming his attendance and then attending will mean he looses his locked in place and
will have to prequalify.

Automatic move into main race by Pre-Qualifyers
If a locked in top 12 driver says that will skip a race, or does not attend, drivers in the standings 13 downwards to 20 can automatically claim the position and all positions move up into the next slot above.
This will automatically move the reserve Pre-Qualifyer in the Pre-Qualifyer race position.

How pre-Q will work
At 6.15pm UK time skengdigi will open and host the Pre-Qualifyer race room in the club lobby.
All prequalifiers and the reserve can then enter that room.
At 6.20pm UK time there will be a 8 minutes Pre-Qualifyer Qualifying session.
AT 6.30pm UK time the Pre-Qualifyer race will start and will be a 20 minutes Race .
If stewarding is required it'll be done in real time by Stewards watching the race and by replays.

Main Race
After the Pre-Qualifyer race is finished the top 4 Pre-Qualifyer race drivers will be allowed to take part in the Main Race.
Karsten will open and host the main race room within the club lobby.
If Stewarding is required it'll be done by Stewards watching replays.

I sugggest to non Qualified drivers and reserve to stay available for a little while in case some locked in driver doesn't show up, or there's issues for other drivers.

I hope this sounds fair to all involved and i again apologize for those that will have to sit out of the race.

Server problems
In the event of Server problems -let Karsten only, decide the solution - wait until he requests information from you - or asks you to take action - please do not text suggestions, make comments or leave the room without instruction - if the server causes issues, you must wait for karsten to issue instructions, this way we may get the race underway.

I gave Driveclub a go with pad... not geting excited lol :D

Oh and btw i can't understand people complaining about GT6 and praising driveclub beside for graphics... ?_? It's like a burnout where you can't mess up with traffic :D It'll be a decent timewaster tought :P

Unfortunate haha, I figured most of you would be being Monday day over there. The gf has fallen asleep so I thought I'd jump on the opportunity to steal the Sony ha.

I will be racing tonight, I had some tips to put force feedback on the lowest settings to help me drive one handed. I will still probably make mistakes and be off the pace but I might gain valuable points so its worth it.
