Hi all,

Wanted to come and check the thread out.. Cool to see you guys running well with the new concept!
How are things working out with the damage etc?

All good Jona, had a few leave and a few join, and a few that are too fast and we cant stop them from being too fast even if we load them up with lead but everyone trains in the week together, we have a great club feel in the series, and most seem to look forward each weeks race.

In Theory its ok, however if both you and he are top drivers it may not be a good idea as we ideally wanted great drivers to team up with not so great drivers, as the rest of the teams have been formed up, so no one team has an advantage.
We will see how you fair on Monday nights race then make a decision if thats ok.

Ok i understand. but i dont now yet how fast he is and i am in comparison with the rest of the field

Yes it should be ok that you team up, as you are both new to the series and have not many points its unlikely you will run away with the team championship, but Srt is fast and i think you are fast also, so we will wait and see after Mondays race, and anyway the teams championship is just the combined total of the 2 drivers points, so it makes no difference if you form after the race anyway.

It seems almost certain that the track will start 20% wet and raining building to between 48% and 62% wet after around 20 minutes when rain then stops and track dries to 0% after around 25 to 35 minutes, however the track may well stay wet offline up to around the 50 to 60 minute mark.

PACE CAR START UNTIL ENTRY ONTO Mulsanne Straight
If a SC is reported we will then go at the exit of the 2nd chicane.
If a further SC is reported we will go at exit of final bend over start line.

Too bad you left for pc... I plan on going project cars on ps4. Hope i'll manage to get a suitable wheel for it.

PCars on Ps4 will be fun i think.. But the feedback that you get through a pc is much more immersive then anything playstation can come op with. If you only do racing i'd say go for a pc and you will never regret it. The sounds off the cars alone are worth the extra money a pc costs to be honest ;)

The t300 is a steering wheel which i can highly advice! Very good wheel and altough pedals are not superb you can add a conical brake mod for about 10dollars which make them very good pedals!
 
Tonight strategy will be a big issue... Both fuel and tires.

Had 3 half races and on one it reached 56 water max one 62 and another one went up to 74... It'll be a risky bet for the braves that can make or kill a race.

Yes agreed, in fact the half races i have done have given less water on track in general, so it could go up to anywhere between 48% and 74% wet track, so its a mystery as to what is best.

I am a former pc gamer, and i think it'll take other 3 or 4 years for a 399 pc to get as good as a ps4 for the price and will never be that good under tv :D

I had 2 choices, upgrading a decent pc i have quad core 2.66ghz, or go ps4.

Going pc meant i woud had to dish out around 800s and not get exlusives and ending with an extra pc. Seconmd thing that kept me is that pc gaming fastly becames a mess of cheater, modders, people using lag pedals or exploits etc etc. Been there, no more thanks!

I hope many i'm playing with will upgrade to ps4 and project cars/gt7 in time.

I'll be there on pcars too and at first on pad too since i have a DFGT, but i've been saving hard for months to be able to afford a thrustmaster t300 sooner or later.

Concerning tonight pubs, i'm not very sure where i'll sit at the end of the race, but any points are good points :P also pubs remember that we have drop scores so you'll sit high in the standings for long :)
