You hit the brakes a full 100 meters before the braking point. Through the spray, I couldn't see you. By the time I saw you their was nothing I could do.

Oh and don't type when race or Q is going. You could've easily distracted another person in to a mistake. Don't do it.

Edit: Watched the replay from your point of view. Looks more like 150M too early. No wonder I plowed into you :grumpy:

Hi guys!
I want to say. Please do not misunderstand what I said yesterday "this is not fun race" i like this series a lot and i like race with you guys. But im not a rain expert. My car not stable on rain or my driving style not work rain i dont no..

Race start good 4 laps very good racing but weather is 65% and my problems start.. And waiting, and waiting at the track dries but no my race is fiasko. Thank you all guys yesterday race and on monday a new race better luck for me :) and im in tokyo

Aah ok it looked like You die it in purpose but yes i couldnt see anything either i think thats why i braked so early .

But what about the first crash between us in the Porsche curves?

and 3 unrelated stewards will review it, and make a decision on who was fair or unfair and any penalty points the are to be given.

So bumped right now... so disappointed... I gave a lot of effort and practise into this race as I had a very good feeling, but yet again, could not manage.
I was all pumped up with the practise sessions, feeling good up to 65% on IM, i could handle that, i could handle myself for that one difficult lap before it goes down to dry but it never got to that. Boy was i not ready for rain and complete darkness:banghead: (why the change in game time from 2100 to 2110?).
Three practise sessions and three times the same weather scenarios, what happened??? i guess i still have a lot to learn on that aspect as well.

The change of schedule, 15 minutes earlier, meant that my boys were not in bed yet. They wanted to watch the Q session, got distracted by my 3 yo and spun in the last corner before pit entry... could have qualified around P7 maybe.
With the room connection problem, my settings got reset (PP and gearbox)... including manual transimission which i did not discover until the race had started. Not off to a great start of the evening and it did not get better with the weather. i was looking at that pourcentage staying at 100% every lap... :bowdown:Congratulations to you who are just gliding on the water, real pleasure to watch on the replay

On the positive note, i'm so proud of my first two laps (before the cats and dogs fell from the sky). It felt like I belonged... probably my only chance to appear in the video summary: first lap, second chicane: double pass move!!!:cheers:


I thought I would do better now that I'm part of Mercurial Racing, sorry @xChris93_, I thought I had this one... Congrats to you on your victory full of panache.:gtpflag:

Ced, for me you did great mate. I really have no idea how you managed the laps you did without a wheel as the weather got worse.
We did post last week that it would be 15 minutes earlier and its back to the original time.
Overalkl i was very impressed as i saw you climb the leaderboard, i remeber that in the week you trained very well, but you should not be at all dissapointed, you have come a long long way quickly, as last race you were jumping aside to let others past, this race you were very fast.
Crashing or making mistakes in the wet over 50% is nothing to be ashamed of, its a lottery, and 1 little tiny mistake can cost so so much time specially if you get damaged.
Overall a huge improvement Ced, and again, the weather, how crazy, i have done so much training, every time it would dry out after 30 minutes, i was praying, please stop raining, Tokyo will seem easy for you Ced.

No Pedro, Lol the base weight is only for drivers who would miss a race and come back at a lower weight than base due to not scoring any points and dropping down the standings below base weight, this is for drivers only who would come back below base weight.

I had to ask to be sure and because I can see this in the rules: "Any driver that cannot take part in race 1 will start Race 2 with the base weight of 1230kg, whatever championship position they hold."

Ah, thats a typo, sorry - i will have to edit that.

Clearly it would be wrong for someone like you to miss a race and come back at 1230kg,
its really to stop anyone taking advantage of the situation, and really was meant for the beginnng of the series, when missing one race would mean you could drop a huge amount in the standings and come back with a light car.

So we have really only used it for drivers below that weight and for new joiners.
 
Well I'm just a driver like everybody else, it wasn't on purpose that I missed the race and I think I got penalized enough by not scoring any points in the previous race.

Anyway if the rules applied to previous users in same situations then I'm fine with it, like I said I just wanted to be sure ;)

Yeah Pedro remember I missed Fuji because I had a project deadline that night and couldn't make the race? I started the following race at 1250kg I think and not 1230kg, my interpretation of the rule was that the base weight would only apply for reserves or if drivers who would fall far below to minimum weight. So it prevents any tactical play which seems fair.
