VERDICT of incident 1 & 2 at Grand Valley.
GV will take a -3 Pt penalty
He will also run at a minumum car weight of 1230kg for the rest of the season
and will also have a Suspended Ban for Wreckless driving the rest of the season.

This will be reflected in the new points table that will be posted before Noon Uk today.

It would be interesting to know how many of our regulars will go straight on to pcars when it is released on 7 May.

For me i would struggle driving 2 different games, i have enough trouble with one.

It may be that so many of you will jump straight into it, and not use gt6 any more.
The next planned HSV season planned to start after our gt300 season ends mid May might not happen if you lot have gone the pcars way.

Just from experience, i am thinking it may be better waiting a couple of months as i am sure there is bound to be all sorts of unforeseen glitches that need patching up, and it could be a good few weeks until its all smooth sailing.

For me i couldn't have both gt6 and pcars on the go, so i was just wondering what your intentions might be ?

not meaning to be intrusive guys, what are your plans - for next series ?

For myself; I currently don't own a PS4, I planned from release that I won't be craving one until The Division, Battlefront and ultimately GT7 comes out.

My partner and I have recently moved in with a friend of ours, he has both new gen consoles and will be getting PCars on the Sony. After watching the buildup to release on news and videos I've become quite keen to play it, it really is amazing.

However since I've only recently gotten a G27 I'll only be able to play with controller, and since having my wheel it just won't be the same fun, driving realism and seriousness has I have on GT6. So I'll only be playing the career mode and then online for fun.

I'm quite loyal to Gran Turismo, I've played every one since GT1 growing up and it will forever have a nostalgia to me. So I will remain on GT6 for organised racing since it's a new found love of mine discovering GTPlant nearly a year ago :).

The only thing that might prevent for me from remaining in the next season of this series will probably be a time zone clash with work :(.

Also it's been tested for years now on line and off and it's already more refined and bug free that gt6 will ever be. Also knowing that physics and tuning are not bugged is a relief as the 60fps and far field of view (i complained a lot about it on gt6 remember?).

I'm leaning 100% to pcars but it would be really and i mean REALLY sad to say goodbye to most of you guys :( i might hop back for soome racing but i fear gt6 would feel so dull after a proper simulation... Still it's racers that makes grreat races so if i could i would send to all of you a ps4, game and new wheel lol

Hahah I'm with Logic on providing my address.

In saying all I did about remaining on gt6, I hope you all are coming back to GT7 at least because I will most definitely be on that with a wheel! And of course I can still race on PCars but just won't be as smooth as I've become :P.
 
I am split on how I should feel about the race.

On one hand, I still am last running driver but "only" 30 seconds behind the car in front on me; only one lap behind the winner, which is (let's be honest) a huge step forward for me.
The switch from the controller to the wheels is the only factor here.

On the other hand, my strategy of two pits RH+RH was ruined after a little hit with TNT that forced me to pit way too early during my second stint.
The discussion I had with @Stephen Vann during the week made me realize i needed to stay on the track before i learned to go fast. that's why i opted for this stratedy which turned out to be slower than the other but i would not be tempted to go as fast as you guys can be.
I even pointed out to 7th place for a couple of lap when you guys went in for your 2nd or 3rd pit, which was really exciting... i could actually see the name of the top drivers :sly:
The fact that it was a dry race helped me out as well, allowed to focus on the line and the way to dose the accelerator coming out of corners.

Still a lot to learn, loving it.👍

After tests this should mean the track will start 80% wet and be dry within 20 minutes, but offline will stay very wet for another 15 minutes. It could then start to rain again after 70 minutes, but i am no forecaster, it never does exactly the same thing so who knows.

Not sure i may give it a go and see if i can have fun and finally be able to compete... But my time is little so i won't promise since pcars has a ton of new tracks to learn and proper racing to be learnt. But it would be a good new wheel test... We'll see.

Just realised i left you off the standings Gueven, i have just adjusted that, you are 19th and running at 1150 kg

You are in for the rest of the series Gueven, and the next series if you would like to.

As long as you guys that have laggy connections, ie you, Srt, TnT, GV and pubs and as many as others can restart their routers before coming online then clear cashe before joining the room each time, hopefully we can get rid of lag.

So get training for for Monday Gueven.

I'm going to Project Cars as soon as it releases. I have been playing GT Since the first one. I have been disappointed in both GT5 & 6. Both games were not finished and GT 6 is still not finished. I love the racing and still plan to race GT6. If they don't put in more modern race cars and the track editor soon, I'll be leaving GT6.

Wrong opinion based on all that have been playing it and seeing it improve in the last months :)

Also if you want you can go and read the 400 pages physic and car behaviour feedback that ben collins, nick hamilton and other drivers provided to sms to any and all adjustements they made so far.

It's going to fight closely with famous and renowed Pc sims; nothing like that exists on consoles so far.
 
ahahah i know usually racing sims have to wireframe to look serious and have horribly FFb and controls so they are very hard because as all knows if it's not very hard up to being undriveable it's not realistic :D

Standings are becoming pretty exciting in the midfield, next few races should be a lot of fun to see what happens.

Logic I'll still be on GT6 for a while. I'll probably make the switch fully in the summer to Project Cars, I'll wait and see how good it is first. On paper it looks amazing, but as you said it might be too good to be true :lol:

I'll be hanging around for GT Academy anyway and other championships I have on going, I'm sure I could spare a monday night to race :P I'm really going to miss the Lexus though, I love this car :P I don't want the current championship to end lol.....
