i know i do keep going on and on and i apologise for that but.................

ENSURE YOU ALL CLEAR CASH BEFORE ENTERING ROOM

ALSO FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT SUFFER WITH DC OR LAGGY CONNECTIONS - IT HELPS TO RESET YOUR ROUTER JUST BEFORE COMING ONLINE TO RACE AND CLEARING CASHE AND JOINING ROOM.

POLESITTER START WILL GO ON EXIT OF KINK ON START FINISH STRAIGHT AFTER NORMAL PACE LAP.

THERE WILL BE MANY DIFFERENT STRATEGIES HERE SO ..............

FAST GUYS DO NOT BUMP OR BULLY SLOWER GUYS WHEN OVERTAKING AFTER YOUR 1ST STOP
THEY HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO BE THERE - ONLY OVERTAKE WHEN THERE IS ROOM OR THEY MAKE A MISTAKE.

LIKEWISE THOSE ON LONGER STINTS - IT IS FINE TO RACE RACE WITH THOSE ON SHORTER FASTER STINTS - BUT JUST BLOCKING THEM LAP AFTER LAP IS NOT REALLY A FAIR THING TO DO AND WILL ALSO SLOW YOU DOWN AND MAY LEAD TO CARS COMING TOGETHER AND POSSIBLY DAMAGE FOR BOTH.

WHEN BEING LAPPED ENSURE YOU MOVE CLEARLY TO ONE SIDE SO AS TO NOT IMPEDE LEADERS

Another word about the race;

Be wary of pit in and out!

Pit out has car autodriven to a certain extent so if you are approaching final straight and one is about to exit pits leave room!

Pit in can be an issue too, if u see car moving right at final straight be wary it might be a draft cutting move ment OR a pit entry.

Let's try our best for a clean race; gvs is a really long track to drive with broken suspensions up to boxes ;)
 
Hi guys , quick question

How does SRT/RACINGLINE have 1165 kg for his weight ?

Shouldn't he be base weight 1230 kg ?

Logic did say his weight was correct in a lobby yesterday but I would just like an explanation .

He is 13th in the standings and thats the weight for 13th.

Ideally the original idea was any late joiners to the series would still have a chance to catch up in the points and still have a shot and doing well in the championship, as they would be running light until they climbed up through the points and then the weight would start to climb.

It was possibly a flaw in the system, and i have a new system in place for late joiners in the next series.

Ultimately he he still 70 points behind you and nearly 100 behind Chris.

So he cant catch up with only 4 rounds left.
 
It would allow a closer race if srt was set at 1230kg tbh. He could finish miles ahead with no challenge whatsoever at his current weight.

Yes, but srt is getting a bit upset, as he feels he is being picked on.
He has done nothing wrong, and as i mentioned he is far down the points list.

He may well win the race by miles, but you guys at the top have also won the races we have had by some margin in the past, and will probable do so again.

At the end of the day, he has spent all week training at the weight he should be, and its unfair to now suggest its wrong and make him feel bad.

Its my fault, i made the weights sysytem without forseeing this happening, as i also never had forseen the elite guys winning each race.

At the end of the day thats how it is, srt is a great member of our series, and we dont want to beat up on him.

If he was not that fast then noone would worry about it.

He did offer to up his weight if you elite guys had kept the revised weights, but we have changed the top 4 back.
 
I understand , i just thought it was strange his weight was so low as he has been in a couple races before .

If it was his first race i would be more forgiving .

No problems , was just a question .

Well done to all wish I had a chance to complete but filling two laps behind so I was two laps ahead as him came out ove the pits behind me after taking me and karsten out frist lap so that I have now chance ove even getting one point I took 6 laps two get my head back two the race so I'm two laps ahead I would ove thought let him get away not slow him down bye trying to get past sorry four quitting but I think you can see that was not clever for the team so good race gentlemen.

I have to be honest wiith you mate, and this does not mean i think you are wrong and i am right, but letting him unlap himself would have been no problem if it had been me and my team mate ? i watche the action from yours and Filis car, and was expecting to see him bach you ? but i didnt see anything, but anyway, you have your view and i respect that, but for me it was no big deal, he got past you, unlapping himself and that was that.
Just thought i would post my thoughts Vic, as i was dissapointed you decided to leave, as i know you dont usually do that.
Anyway, its done now, and you missed out on 2 points by leaving rather than parking up.

Anyway, just thought i would poke my nose in, and hope you and Fili kiss and make up quickly.

Great win Srt, in fact a great great race, i watched all the action from a picnic area i found, and just was so dissapointed i was not involved, great battles and stint lengths all over.

Chris a great second place, another couple of laps and who knows?

But so many great dices with a few guys ahving the lead for a while here and there, i am just so so pleased it all worked out well and no DC and no real lag issues.

Gueven it was great to see you in the mix there, and i think that you guys with the often laggy and dont see each other connections, ie TNT, PUBS, Srt, and Gueven, who all restarted their routers just before coming online, then clearing the cashe before coming in the room must have helped, as we have never had such a smooth room with 15 in it and specially with our Gueven in the race, so hope to see you training for Motegi Gueven, as you are welcolm to join, just as many of you as can, restart your routers before coming online, specially when you know there will be full rooms [ wow dont i go on and on]

I will be working out a nice mix of weather for you all next week, so we have something exciting to look forward to like Suzuka was, rather than the Floods we used to have.

A couple of notes, Cedbel, lots of bumping me today, not hard but not nice, im old so dont rough me up, i would make an incident report, but i know you only had your wheel a few days now, so we will use that as and excuse this week, but next week no chance, you will get reprimanded.

Gvillenuve, i know you dont alway's read this forum, but i hope you do ead this, you need to calm your driving down a lot, you are over agressive and you had contract with at least 5 cars in the first few laps, and these were not mistakes or slight errors, these were disregard for other drivers and you did not care what your actions caused, in your eagerness to get past them. There may be further acton taken after stewards reviews, but for now i can say that we wont have over aggressive driving full stop.

Anyway, it was a very good race.

yesterday race is great :)
race start is good but my own mistakes for first lap brake too late cost me few place and time. im trying to catch up for top 5 guys. maybe half race remaining my pit stragety is working and maybe few laps im a leader :)
But the tires were already in the final stage.
And pubs drive behind me. And 10min left to finish watching #sken going to pit and im thinking yay im 3 but... i dont no what happen to mee last corner Left tires touch the sand or grass and im spinnig and im trying to stop the spin but no my Car slid into the pits and extra stop.. this episode cost me in few place and im in finish line 6 :) very good race guys and #pubs You have improved a lot :)
What happen behind me? Never see #logi parked??

Ok well, you have your view Vic, but you know Fili only too well, you think Fili would sit behind you for 30 minutes when he has no chance of getting anywhere ? i dont thnk so, fili has blood full of overtake at all cost cells, you know that.

I dont think anyone would want to sit behind their teammate for 30 minutes in a race when they know they can go faster , and you never know what could happen later in the race, people crash, or run out of fuel and stuff happens.

I cant see myself how him overtaking you was a problem for you, i really cant so i am surprised you were so upset by it vic, Fili does not and cannot sit behind anyone for any length of time for any reason.

Ok Immediate response GV, is calm it down.

You were very agressive on the fist laps, and this makes others aggressive to fight for their position.

If a driver in on a fast lap , then there is no way you can get past them unless you either force your way past or wait for them to make an error.

You forced your way and that causes them to act agressivly back.

I know well all the drivers in the series as we train and have races all week.

I know they are fair and will give way to a fair overtake and they expect the same back, but when pushed the will react back in an agressive way.

I dont know you so well but wil say this Gv, you had enough car contact in that race for a whole series,
so if your car touches any other car in an attempted overtake for the rest of the series, then i will ask you to leave.

The Worst case lap 2 turn 4 you had already put Cedbel in some bad situations, then both he and fili were in battle, and you joined in, bumping Cedbel who in turn bumped Fili and made Fili spin, at that point he was sideways across your car Tbone, you kept your foot on the gas for over 4 seconds just pushing him along,never seen that before and it wont happen again.

At the moment i am feeling that i will give you one more chance to prove you can drive cleanly, but that incident with Fili caused so much smoke that both Karstens and Vic races were almost ruined.

Our guys almost always race in a clean and fair way, but as soon as someone tries to abuse them they will fight back of course, and then we dont have a race anymore.
 
Since we are at it,

Lap 22 end of lap
Gilles went 4 wheels out of track without lifting off to get a better acceleration out of corner and pass me.

Nothing major but a car that exceeds track boundaries should lift off and quite a few drivers abused the runoffs.

Might have costed him that 0.7 seconds i missed lol

Btw GV u had no more fuel or no more rubber?

contact when fili was ahead avoidable

Gv and Gueven turn 2 lap 2
contact when gueven was ahead avoidable

continued Gv and Gueven turn 4 lap 2
Fili and Gv - Fili spins and GV keep on the gas TBONING for 5 seconds.

Stewards will review and post back later.
