dont think it does at all.

Active steering automatically helps you correct when the car begins to slide. Its conceivable that this could be done in real life.

SRF is not possible irl, it involves increasing the grip of the race car. A RACE car can only be as good as its made. :sly:

It's Christmas!! I don't want to read about this :P

But this is the Formula GT thread. :sly:

Spurgey- Nice one on the DFGT mate, much more fun with the wheel but maybe you will now find out that wheel users dont have the easy ride people make out :D Cool that you have a mic, just dont annoy me like some people do!

Pagey- Some dollars towards your first powerful car 👍 try a bit of positive toe at the back to help you out. 1.10 is very respectable though.

Sandman- Nice one bro. LED rev indicator! I am jealous.

Rich S- For the first time ever I agree with you :D active steering off feels absolutley nothing like driving a real car in real life. Real cars are easy to race and the steering returns right to you (most of the time) if you are doing it right. I think active steering is a game control rather than a sim control if you catch my drift. If it took away the feeling you would be in the barriers in no time.

Ellis- Enjoy your useless (for now) phone and merry xmas.

Its up and running now.these past comments have been from it. Its amazing

Good job :D and dont foget to have at least one practice session at Monaco before the race ok, even if you do have lots of new gadgets to play with.

Etid- Definatley there are advantages and disadvantages, it pretty much sorts itself out in the end, happy xmas dude 👍

ellis- If your buying :D Lotus is awesome!

PB- Is that on the account you want to use (the fast one)?

I dont believe PAL or NTCS gt5 disc give different drive's or 1 is faster thyan another im just driving better than i did way back when..

..And merry christmas....i bought myself all the stealth cars for chrissi...:)

I think active steering seems to make the wheel feel a bit different. Im not really bothered either way though, it doesnt seem to make a difference to laptime.
Also im in for season 3 if theres places left.
-Pagey. What car u looking at getting? Saxos are excellent for driving, they handle like a go kart. Just feels like ur driving around in a crisp packet though. I would of kept mine if it wasnt falling to bits and leaking oil like hell. I had some fun in that car:dopey:

Saxos are sweet, good pace for the money for sure. Ill sign you up for S3 m8. What colour FGT's you got, I need the colours of them all pleas. I know you got red.

My car is a pig too at monaco.I have nothing left to try except randomly.I spun straight away in that short practice we just had and ive never spun there in my practice.I just have to drive slow so no barging through me,ill do the best i can to get outta the way...

Its another track where set up is massivley improtant bro. Should be a good race just hope people are patient on the overtakes :)

I dunno yet, its between a civic sport, A C4, or Mazda 3 takara, they are all good cars and pretty cheap :)

Rich and I wait for the update in online Dealerschip then we buy the same car with same colour.

Remember that the FGT's you get (probably will) may be different colours. Let me know which ones you both get so I can assign teams.
Babalu will get in as a regular or reserve depending on whether Smartheart carries on for S2 or not. I cant guarantee you guys will be on the same team ok.

OK i say it you then.
Babalu have sai to me he will buy a new FGT and he sai me his colour.
But was good testing tonight i hope that we can test today again.
Write to me when one have time to practise.

whoa, how can u afford insurance on things like that. My car choices so far have been about fastest car for cheapest insurance. Also have u seen where the gearstick is in newish civics, its weird.

You know as a cyclist I hate hearing that. :( I've never been to the UK (will go someday). My dad tells me within 5 minutes of being in a cab in London they were in a car accident. :sly::sly:

Although I'd love to race the Tour of Britain someday, just minus being hit by a car.

Europe in general is dangerous although I give ya'll some slack because the roads are ancient (designed in medieval times). :sly:

I'd love to rip it down the Autobahn in the Veyron. Gotta experience that before you die:

The insurance isn't too bad, they around groups 5 or 6, a Saxo is group 4 I think. They are the fastest cars I can get away with insuring, around 110bhp but I will chip them and remap them and stuff.
Yeah I love the civics interior, the gearstick comes out of the dashboard pretty much. And in the C4 the middle of the wheel stays still when you turn, its pretty cool.

Verry cool video.
We have a Porsche Turbo and that is also verry fast.
In Germany we can go always fullspeed and the highway.
We have had races with Ferrari Lamborgini and fast motorbikes.
But we could always keep up, or were faster.

Is everyone there for some testing later??

That's why your so fast! You can drive full speed in a real car every day! Peace

The gearstick on the civic is where it is for fast gear changes, not sure if it has a short shifter link but its definatley in a great place for driving fast. I wonder if the civic sport is the same as the type S which I thought would definatley be a group 12ish as its a 2.0 litre.

The sport is only a 1.6, its the model down from the type S, and only 110bhp I think. I would love a type S or R, but the insurance would be at least £8000 :(

Aha, I see. I guess the sport would be a good option then, is it the bubble shape (newer) or the wedge shape (the one before)?
Normally the sport models have a smaller engine but some factory suspension upgrades to improve handling, my old Audi sport was a real giant killer with only a 1.8 litre engine because it cornered so well.

It's the older one, the new one is ugly
Yeah civics are usually really good in the corners, one of the reasons I want one 👍

I am releived to hear you say that. Apparently the new one is a bit of a turd compared to the one before, that sounds like an awesome 2nd car mat, I would go for that one! You have got the fact that hondas rarely break down too.

Touring car guys
If you havent already, come and set a time for the division qualifyer between 8-10 tonight, in between we will be practicing FGT's and testing the M3

Peace
