Fgtc | closed to posts| please use new thread

My playstation has decided it doesnt want to connect to the internet anymore, the router is fine, because everything else connects. It told me to reset the router but last time i did that it completely screwed everything, and i had to buy a new one.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

On your network setting turn the internet connection on and of, or try re connecting to the internet on the playstation

And don't expect me to practice anytime soon my ps3 has been confiscated for reasons unknown to me at this time my mother and father -.-

Ive tried that and it cant obtain the IP address

maybe the wireless in your ps3 is broken? make a thread in the ps3 section and see what you get

Yeah good plan, its really annoying, ive just downloaded the BF3 beta and cant play on it!!

PB- Its all about the rhythym man, I havent got into a rhythym on track since Cape Ring I gotta re-discover my form, Its my first competitive race on Tokyo as I had the YLOD 70minutes before you guys ran it last season. You got 2nd though so you can do it again! Any news on the connection?

Pagey- When I said re-set your router, did you use the pin prick re-set button? Mine has a general reset and a main which can mess with the settings, I press the general one.

Anyone- Does anyone know a good PC game that is similar to command and conquer but uses real world units or WW1/2 units?

Hmm, I cannot do that as I live in a 'one horse mountain town' where the only thing I can get is a ####### PC game! Ill use google!

I was about to suggest Command and conquer but i don't see why that isn't an option.Put a thread on the pc gaming section and see what you get?

I think the re-set that you DONT want should be protected from being pressed by accident so you should be able to tell them apart. I am banned from the PS3 on Thursdays by the wife so I dont know if I can get on or not

GT5 particularly glitchy today after i spent a night playing forza with some friends i think the GT gods are smiting me

Forza 3 is great! I played it before GT5 then my trusty xbox red ringed . The sounds are better to. But i love both of them equally

Short practice race and mixed racing tonight if anyone is up for it, we will run FGT600 specs for a quick run around one of the shorter tracks aswell and invite some of our non- championship friends to try and recruit them
Mixed racing after till late, we will include some dirty racing/rallying to the usual track stuff.

I have tried everything now, ive reset the router but now nothing can get a wireless connection, ive had to wire up my laptop. So the likelyhood is i wont be able to make the race on sunday, im gonna do my best to fix it but im busy with work and stuff.
Im going to try to run an ethernet up to my playstation, but im gonna need around 27m of cable why cant technology always work!!!!!
