I'm hosting/organizing it, but it doesn't start until next week anyway as we need to recruit some drivers :)

Musolino- Mow the lawn, dothe dishes, hoover the dog, sweet talk your parents, edit your report card! :) Do your best mate but if you cant make it dont worry it happens.

Sakery- Like Tom said, it doesnt start till next week mate. Try and get in even if you miss quali, important to get a few points down early to make a good start to the season.

All- I am now expecting 11-12 drivers today so loads of points up for grabs even if you come last :) Looking forward to seeing who hiots the podium today!

:) I am really looking forward to racing in the my new FGT today aswell, your excited because your fast on this circuit. Just drive like you did last night mate. Its my first competitive FGT race on R246 :D
Congrats on your promotion lol

Sorry guys, but my chances of being to race tomorrow are slim. I practiced too much today(according to my parents), so I'm most likely not going to be able to race. I wish I could make it. :(

Tell them its a Life or Death matter :sly:

Aha! Not too bad then, my best time without a draft is still 1.10.588, I got 3 1.10's in a row but then went back to 1.11's. Maybe I had less fuel too.

Ive asked around and no one has a cable i can borrow :( so im definately not going to be able to race tonight. And i wont be on till thursday at the earliest, as express postage for the cable was £8!!! So there is a very slim chance i wont be on for next weekends race either, it all depends when they deliver it.

Have fun tonight people :)

Flood- Nearly time :)

Skate- Good news bro, keep her straight and smooth and be patient, looking on in interest at your race today :)

Pagey- Sorry to hear that mate, surely it will be there by next week. Post when you get your cable so I know to invite you to practices.

This is getting a little tricky... My ps3 doesnt want to connect to my internet. I might make it for quali and hopefully i can fix it.

SM- Gutted bro, it happens occasionally just treat it like your car broke down :(

Ellis- Shut up u burke

Etid- Congratulations on a good race run :)

Podium- Etid, Rhyf, Ellis 👍

Race Report:

My first win! What a start to the season! After watching the replay my first 10 laps were very interesting. Yet again my qualifying was poor as I started in 9th. The race started and we plowed down to the first corner, braking, and being prudent (as Neth would say). I kept my position but then went from 9th to 12th after turn 3. Not to worry I fought through the pack and dodged the crashes and spinouts people were having. This put me in 4th place, just behind Flood. I then took him on lap 3, on turn 2, as I slipstreamed him and he braked to let me pass (fair play). It was then the catching up game behind runfast and smartheart. I took them both cleanly on the last bend of lap 5. That was it, I was then away, some how pulling away, driving like an animal. I then pitted, holding my position. On the second pit stop I only put just enough fuel in to get me to the last lap, 51 laps and I would of ran out of fuel. Great race!

So happy to get my first win, can't wait for Sarthe!

GREEN ARMY!

Fantastic race and good report Etid, I am chuffed for you I loved my first win 👍 How does it feel to be at the top of that table :D

OP has been updated, fastest laps and steward reports to follow.

Race Report:

Good Race! 7th place, as the race began I was nervous as I started 6th behind smart heart I got to 4th. As the race webt through I was first for about 3 laps as I had a later pitstop, but I messed up my second pitstop by not putting the right tires onbut when I came out of the pits and went round the first corner NMusolino and electric were I span out I hit electric, ellis only just made it through the gap then I was in 4th for 2 laps as I didnt know I put the wrong tires on, then I pitted again putting mediums again I came out behind runfast and soon got passed him and was only 2 seconds behind smart heart and sakery on the final lap.

Flood,

Nice report flood, I am not posting the triggers of WW1 here dude.
It all started when a bloke called Archie Duke shot an ostrich because he was hungary :)

I remember the 3rd place i achieved like it was half an hour ago. It was a drizzly october evening. I qualifying averagely in fourth position. I knew i had a mountain to climb to get to a position i would have been happy with. I looked into the near future of the race with trepidation. I engaged the starter of my formula gran turismo. The engine fired into action as if knew the journey would long and argues. I sat on the start line, fear gripping me, knowing that this first corner could go amazingly or a complete disaster. As my television began to make noises to alert me that the race was about to begin, i knew it was time. This was genesis. The race began. The sweat was pouring of my forehead. My vision was blurred and i nearly drowned from all the sweat. My pants were warm and squidgy with a warm sensation from my bottom. I knew. My bowels were empty. As was anticipation for this race. The acceleration was massive to the first corner. Like a stampede of bulls gallivanting to a cliff edge. I was a good bull though, i saw an opportunity to take second AND I TOOK THE CHANCE WITH AN ALMIGHTY GRASP. For the first few corners i was breathing down The one known as Rhyfelwr79's neck. His exhaust spitting in my face. But my hot sweaty breath was down his neck. Until we collided. Like two might neutron stars hitting each other. Causing bret to crash with an almighty spin. I felt a small pit in my stomach which an shaman once told me is called guilt. So the race continued. Me, the american known as Runfast and the elder Smartheart battling it out like titans in an arena. We fought, clashing our horns together for a couple of laps until i spun. S**t . So anyhoo where was i. The race continued until i pitted in. My crew called into action like scrambling spitfires into the air. The removed my wheels and replaced them with fresh ones. Medium compound ready for action they said with pride. As i looked on wards to them i thought, these men, are heroes. Except my fuel man who frankly is about as useful as a chocolate fireguard. Damn that guy is slow. But i digress. I carried on. Darting left and right to overcome my opponents. My comrade Etid in the lead. My pride in him was massive. I felt so chuffed with him a stirring went on in my underwear but that's for another time. When i pitted again i made the foolish decision and put not enough fuel in. That fuel guy again seriously he needs a well aimed bullet to the head. But anyway. The race carried on. Again taking people with my car. I could seance the car feeling happy with it's performance. Like a loyal dog with it's master. If it was a dog, i would have patted it. And given it some ham. 10 Laps to go. I pitted. I knew this was the final front. I had to push these laps and DOMINATE my way to 3rd or at least 4th. I had climbed a tree, but now i had to climb a mountain. It was on. My chicken was ready. Within 4 laps i was 5th, 3rd and 4th in sight. I aim, i shot, i killed. No mercy. The deed was done. The welshman out of range. I settled for bronze. But with a smile on my face the job was done. The team known as lotus had done well. A 1-3 to us sandwiching Bret. Like a jam butty. mmmmm i like jam. But i digress. Well done to all you racers. You should be proud of yourselves. You have done your jobs and done it well. Kudos to you all. Kudos. But the job is not complete. Again we shall take arms in Virtual France on a rather bumpy track. Who wins no one knows. The exitement is gripping. I'm already having heart palpitations thinking about it.

I look forward to seeing you in battle. Your rather insane lotus driver

Ellis

Race Report:

Tokyo is a track that I always have trouble tuning for, but this race weekend turned out pretty well for Vodafone McLaren Mercedes. Qualifying was successful. I had done slightly better in practice, and set a time that would've gotten me 2nd, but 3rd was still very good. This didn't matter however, as in the first corner I got on the gas too early and spun, bringing me all the way back to last place:ouch:. I has able to catch up, however, to around 5th or 6th. Good use of tyres allowed me to pit at around lap 20, and I put on medium compound tires. To my surprise, I set my fastest lap on them! I should've chosen them for my qualifying run. I was able to go through the downhill chicane flatout! However, even though these tyres were quicker, I only lasted 10 laps on them. I put softs back on at lap 30, and put in enough fuel to have a safe amount left at the end of the race. I was doing well, and then I got stuck behind Electric. He is very good at defending his position, and even though I was faster, I was stuck behind him for a couple laps. I got impatient, got on the gas to early again in the first corner, and caused us both to wreck!:ill: The leaders, who were a lap ahead, had to go through it as well. I got going again and finally passed him, and took it home for a 4th place finish. Not bad for a rookie! 👍

@Skate: You probably know what clean means ?? It was a Duell sure but you where consistantly searching contact !! (Blocking, divebombing and bumping)
I lost my temper 2-3 times on you (sorry for that) but me think it was reasonable !

So got that of of my soul.

My small Report:
Race started well ... awfull. General spun me out at 5th Turn => last.
After that above mentioned "Duell" with Skate for 10 Laps => I thought well pit and get some rest from his attacking. But BS he pitted same lap -_-
After that I had some free laps but caught up on skate again and again it turned into unfairness -_- (I almost left the Race)
Lap 24 me think he lost contact. Till lap 31 I did some good Times and my Rage-meter went down.
Pitted on Lap 31 again. Got Lapped by Etid on Track (I followed the Blue Flags I was getting ;)) and Brett (was kinda close sorry for that).
After 2-3 Laps I was direct behind Runfast and Smart-Heart after they left the Pits.
=> 15 Laps of good Racin (sorry for the slight bumps Smart but we already did that :D)
Which brought me to 5th.

Tire-strategy: Start with Mediums (10laps)--> Soft (21laps)-->Soft (19laps)

Hope everbody did what I tried to do if you are the one who gets Lapped.

Haha, brilliant reports. Nice one lads, I have got 4 drivers currently in the stewards office and I have only watched to lap 25. This season there is individual steward reports so after I make mine steward 2 and 3 still have to make theirs so your not off the hook until 3 stewards have reported :D

My report to follow after the investigation, glad you could stay for the entire race musolino, you are a credit to the FGTC! Flood- So far you have driven impeccably and have been respectful and fast, its like watching a true professional out there! I just hope you dont do anything daft in the last 25 laps :)
