RACEDAY! Excited for sarth, the mighty pagey is back and both Lotus drivers are in form :)
A few drivers yet to be seen on this track so anything could happen!
Congrats to Jensen on his win in Japan despite being squeezed off by the new world champ 👎

Pit stratergy sorted. With exact precision i think you may find and i may hope ;)

Ellis- haha we shall see, they dont call you ellis 'pitstratfail' nutt for nothing :)

Skate- It really is one of the best tracks too. Now I know why everyone in the FGTC wanted it included.

I dont know about the "mighty pagey" today though ha im a bit worse for wear, didnt get it on friday night till 5am, and it was my friends 18th last night, and didnt get in till 4 30am ha so im not gonna be in top form, the room only stopped spinning a few hours ago :ill:

Ellis- haha we shall see, they dont call you ellis 'pitstratfail' nutt for nothing :)

I think you'l find i have the most accurate and efficient way of working out a pit strategy in the championship mr bretski

Pagey- Lol, you drunkard! If you can win with a blood/alcohol percentage of over 35, you will prove yourself unstoppable :)

Ellisnutt- What is that then? Phone a friend? :D

Immature Bret immature, my existing high opinion of you has dropped dramatically :(

Our client would like to apologise agiain for comments made that were taken out of proportion by the press.

Damn you with our FGT apologies :L how manys on the roster today?

Hehe, the beauty of having a large well dedicated team behind you! Did you know that in the 2007 rugby world cup England apparently had an eye coordination coach. I might get one to help me win a race, its been too long :)

I have 15 confirmed for todays race and hope they all turn up but expect 13 ish mate.

Race Report:
Very fun for about the first 10 laps! I was doing very very well. Until i hit tires on the second chicane! Then i kept was catching up to runfast at about a few seconds a lap and passed him finally! Then i pit and was in last place again! And even though i was on softs i slowed down about 2 seconds a lap :(. Then i was just meh passed then.

Skate- Nice report mate, not a bad finish definatley something to build on :)

Ellis+Flood- Stop crying and write a report, you both did ok.

Updating OP now

Race report: not a good race for me, didnt really enjoy it. I was stuck in so many battles where i am guessing people were seeing the red mist or something, being rammed getting engine damage, pushed off the track etc etc i had a really good battle with smart-heart though, a really clean racer :) but at the end of lap 3 i was in 10th :( so i pitted.
In clear air i was setting 2.52s and 53s and catching the lead by 2 or 3 seconds a lap, and from then on i was kind of by myself. i was around 1 minute behind after my first pit stop. and on lap 21 i was 10 seconds behind and in 3rd. but i wasnt sure whether i did my first stint on mediums or softs so i though i had better come in just to be safe. i came out in 7th but after musolino and ellis' incident on the last lap i came through in 5th.

Oh and congrats to rhy :)

Pagey- Thanks mate, any incidents will be spotted so rest assured on that. 👍 to smartheart for clean racing. Your experience was probably affected by the alcohol level in your blood :) nice report.

FGTC rankings updated and smithaz finally has a profile :)

Stewards have been sent their watch lists. Let me know what you find boys.

Yea i somehow pulled hidden skill out of my ass. If i knew how to tune better than a rat i would be up there with the front runners!

If you can break you tuning needs into questions, fire them at me. I can help with any part of the tuning process. Use PM or PSN or whatever ok.

Half way through the replay and not happy so far. 2 drivers under investigation for serious offences.

My problems are really just all around LSD and suspension. I can find the basic whereabouts of where my settings can be but never get them dialed in like you guys. Especially toe and camber

Toe and camber are simple once it has been explained and you know the adjustment parameters.

Front camber- Minimum 2.0 maximum 3.5
Rear camber- Minimum 0 maximum 1.5
Front toe- Min -0.25 max -0.10
Rear toe- Min 0 max +20

Front camber turns your car better but will create oversteer and the more you add the faster your tyres wear.
Rear camber helps your car turn in too but increases tyre wear and can affect rear grip as you accelerate when not turning or just when you are finishing a turn.

Front toe (-) helps you turn in and creates oversteer. The more you have the more your front tyres wear. I never use it in the positive.
Rear toe (+) Steadies your car when turning especially in long sweeping bends. I use more of it on uneven/cambered tracks. I never use this in the negative. Like all the others it increases wear.
Hope this helps.

Results are in for steward 1. In the OP now, please remember to use 2 tyre compounds everyone and to mind other people on track. Cutting cannot be allowed because laptimes are 3 seconds or more faster when you cut!
Stewards 2-4 still pending so dont relax yet.

My race report

Qualified second to an awesome lap by ellis.
As the lights went out I got a good start and managed to catch a quick draft off Ellis, I outbraked him into the first corner and was surprised he took a neutral line so I naturally took the outside, we rubbed wheels momentarily and I got the better exit. In the lead I got my head down and started to pump in some decent sector times. I noticed that ellis was struggling and this meant I was free from drafters. I built a lead of 16 seconds by lap 8 when I pitted for some fuel (and RM's) although my softs would have been good for another 3 laps. I dropped to 8th I think and was looking forward to going for the lap record by getting some slipstream, this failed to happen as the cars in front pitted next lap except smithaz and
sandman. These guys were far in front and I was dropping time on the harder tyres and did not feel comfortable on them at all. Eventually the cars in front were forced to pit and I was back in first and free again :)
Ellis was catching me very quickly in lap 13 and 14 as I made mistakes on the mediums. I pitted at the end of 14 for my last fuel and was relieved to get onto those softs again. On lap 18 I noticed that etid was catching me fast but thought my 8 second lead would be enough, I was racing hard but he was still gaining. On lap 21 my (now 4 second) lead suddenly went to 1.8 seconds in 1 sector, after the next set of corners etid was on me. He drafted round and I was really pissed off after leading the entire race but I started to gain on him and put him under pressure. He lost it at indianapolis badly so I sailed on by. Slowing up and cruising her in as I knew I was in for the big win.
Feels great to get a first as it has been a long time (cape ring last season).
Thanks to everyone that raced clean and fair, it was hard and took disclipline not to cut but congratulations to all that did :)
