HI Guys, Well done Pagey************
Well here we are again. I qualified 10th (not too good) .👎 I held back a bit at the first corner..... still in 10th place. Passed Mustard and Skatenj just after the back straight as they both hit the wall.. now up to 8th place:).Lap 3 had a brief exchange of places with Smartheart. Lap4 and saw a big cloud of smoke on the first corner :idea:and took a chance and went through it.. it was Smartheart having another off.Now I am up to 6th place. (doing well) :). Lap 5 was passed by Mustard just on the start line . King Sakery passed me halfway round that lap .. I'm back in 8th place now. Lap 6 re-passed King Sakery at the start of the back straight I am now in 7th... Got passed by Smithaz towards the end of the lap but he lost it on the next corner so I got the place back..Had a good run up to the 14th lap ..then I lapped skatenj also lapped Fastkn just after the back straight. Lap 16 I can see my teamate Flood just ahead.👍. slowly I'm gaining on him. I tried to pass him down the main straight but didnt't get enough of a toe.. He had a good pace and I followed him until there was a clear space to pass him. Lap 19 and Flood had a coming together with the barrier.. a huge cloud of smoke I couldn't see where he was:confused: in the smoke and just clipped him,:: which only slowed me down a little... I'm now in 6th place. Lap20 passed King Sakery as he pitted :lol:;).I'm now in 5th place.(can't believe it). Lap21 Ellis and Pagey are in the pits as I passed them.. (Yippeeeee.) I am now in 3rd place.. (this can't go on.). Lap 22 Mustard is in the pits so I am now 2nd.:)... End of Lap22 Time to pit..came out of the pits in 7th place(not too bad). Lap 24 King Sakery pitted and I passed him. I'm now in 6th place. End of Lap 25 lapped Fastkn again. Clean air up until Lap 31 when I lapped Skatenj .Lap 33 passed Rhyflwr in the pits.:D. Now in 5th place .End of lap 33 I made a small mistake and Rhyflwr got passed me:rolleyes:. Now I am down to 6th place. Lap 34 got lapped by Pagey .Lapped Fastkn again on lap 36.. Uneventful few laps until Lap 39 passed Sandman as he pitted . Now I am in 5th place .Lap 41 was lapped by Mustard . Lap 42 got passed by Pigboy .Now I'm in 6th place. At the start of the rear straight Smartheart spun out and Pigboy met with the right hand wall.. so I then got 5th place back:lol:...Lap 43 lapped Fastkn again. End of Lap 44 last pit stop. Came out of the pits in 5th place. Had another few laps of clean air. Lap 48 I was lapped my Mustard .. King Sakery also passed me.. Now in 6h place. Lap 50 I caught up and passed King Sakery 👍. I was then back in 5th place. At the end of Lap 50 Sandman had been disconnected..👎 this then puts me in 4th place.👍.The start of Lap 51 and King Sakery gets past me (DAMMMM):grumpy: I re-take him at the end of the back straight (YEEEEH)👍. He then gets back past me on the last corner.:grumpy:.. I am now in 5th place .Lap 52 I tried to re-take my 4th place back down the back straight..but he was having none of it. Lap 53 and I tried again to pass him down the back straight only to outbrake myself at the next corner and he gets the place back.I then had to yield to Pagey.. Then I proceeded to try and catch KIng Sakery .. Lap 58(nearly finished the report) lapped Skatenj after he held me up for nearly a lap..:grumpy: I have now lost sight of King Sakery .Lap 62 ..still chasing King Sakery... I lapped Fastkn again ..I am still in 5th place (really) and still in hot pursuit of King Sakery. Smithaz has found some pace and unlapped himself by passing me.. but spins out of the last corner.. I am STILL in 5th place (I don't believe it) Still in hot pursuit of KIng Sakery and " 2 laps to go am I going to make it......Last lap not much chance of catching King Sakery now :grumpy:. I now have to look out for the leading cars as they have finished and going 50mph.... Well race over and I get 5th place :cheers::gtpflag: THE BEST PLACE FOR ME OF THE SEASON so far.....
 
Rich- Read below for the US FGTC deal. Thanks man, the interview went good (I think) 2 weeks till I find out. Ok Monza laptime does not count in S2, the rules are different this season so the fastest lap wioll replace the current record. @ Monza we have to keep 2 wheels on the track at all times, the track is the tarmac and the kerb. I expect 1.17ish while adhering to the rules. I love Monza and cant wait either :D

PB- People seem happy the race was quite clean, there is always going to be incidents so dont worry. I like your vid's though 👍

Sakery- Lets get you on the podium at Monza :)

Electric- Wow lol, great report! Longer the better as the actress said to the bishop 👍 a big report and a big finish mate, im chuffed for you!

USFGTC

Neth and myself have had a chat about the US FGTC and agree there is room for it, as his connections were causing his car to go very slow he has now left the FGTC :(
NO USA DRIVERS HAVE TO LEAVE THIS CHAMPIONSHIP
I like having international competition and wish for the FGTC to remain thus, it just means that if someone wants to join this I can send them towards neth's thread.
If anyone has any questions about the new championship let me know :)
 
Yes it was bro, 3 of them, a big table and little old me at the other end :( scary but I did ok :)
Getted about Neth as he was an original but he is going to stay in touch 👍

Smithaz is now team Ferrari partnering Runfast.
 
Cool I have a team m8:) sorry I missed the race! I went to visit a good friend in the hospital, he had a very bad four wheeler crash! I thought I might make it back in time for the race, but when I saw him laying there:( dam, poor fellow broke arm in two places & cracked skull broken chest and some ribs & broke leg and ankle! Dude is lucky to be alive! Peace out

From my screen it was weird, i got down to the end of that little straight, and everyone slowed to about ten mph.. "wtf are they doin" ...... BLACK SCREEN!

I have not heard from him yet, but I am defiantly interested. I would love to race this series, it's just a matter of timing.
 
Changes to the disconnect system

Ok, from now on if anyone gets disconnected while racing they will receive the points for last place rather than 1 point. If there is 13 finishers the disconnected driver will receive 14th place points. If there is more than 1 disconnect it willl be based on which of the disconnected drivers was ahead by the time the 2nd person disconnected.
The reason for this is i dont want to lose drivers because of a dodgy connection!
Sandman, Electric, Ellis and Smartheart have all been credited with backpoints for this season as have the teams.

As before, if anyone purposely leaves they will receive a Strike warning.

Stewards report 75% done, 5 drivers under investigaton.

Rhyf. Do you have a spreadsheet or something with a load of stats on, if so u shud put it on one of those google spreadsheets that every1 can look at and give us all the link. Also it would be good if you start keeping a stat on the profiles for pole positions. Ofcourse i only say this as i have a vested interest haha.
 
I only have the race stats from this season, were you after anything in particular?
I dont keep the qualifying but can do if there is a S3.
 
No nothing in particular just thought you might keep everything like results fastest laps and such from every race but obviously you're not as organised as i thought :sly:
 
I keep all the fastest laps, results, wins for each player, races entered, amount of lap records, actual lap records, podiums, and season trophies. Have you ever seen the OP :D
 
Lol, brett not as organised as you thought. Have you seen how much he has to do. I woudnt even do all the stats hes done too much stress
 
I see there's a lot of people under investigation.

The general "feeling" I got from that race is it was very clean apart from the helpless spins which couldnt be prevented really.

Lapped cars moved over, it was certainly a bit better than Spa which seemed pretty dirty.
 
Actually, it was a very clean race. Just a few small problems and definately a penalty coming to a driver for the first time. Accidents happen though, its all part of the fun, I couldnt believe that mustard bloke, discraceful overtaking! Took out the whole field at one point. Ran me into the pits then waited for me to come out and pushed me back in!
I think -75 points, 14 place grid penalty and a strike 2 warning :D
 
Which is to be be expected on a track like this. I did try to stay as clean as possible :)
 
Stewards report in the OP

On the whole there was a lot of improvement, Flood was unlucky to lose a place to a lapped car late on in the race. Amazing battle with SM, me and Pagey early on in race. Thanks to KN and electric for yielding properly 👍

Smart heart, you were perfect for the first 50 laps....what happened then :(

Monza next gents, should be a classic :D
 
:grumpy:Awww man.... It was really hard to yield due to the massive lag i experienced all race. Might as well deal with it....
 
Well i may not be the fastest, cleanest racer but im not too bad between the sticks apparently ;)

Skate- Sorry man but the stewards can only judge what they can see. Hopefully your lag will be cool next time. Good attitude 👍

@Skate: Your doing well at being lapped but sometimes you fail again. You accelerated all the way out of Turn 3 many times with someone directly behind you
=> just pull to the right and let go of the Throttle
=> no issues
The issues occure because you keep on accelerating. But the Lappers must be more patient too. The backmarkers can´t magically disapper and at some Corners you have to wait.
Just improve as much as you did and you´ll never have issues again Skate 👍
 
Yea it was hard due to lag and im not used to a controller but ill be back to a wheel at monza.
