I've missed so many races that I'm going to just be racing for race results, the championship ranking is long gone.

OK......race report.
Quali...had my gearing set to 217 to try and improve acceleration, failed miserably with a mid pack time.
First lap...Smithaz spins and collects me and 2 others. I get going and then rear end skater coming out of the fast 150 mph right hand turn, we both come to a complete stop before instantly jutting back up to 150 mph then stopping then jutting back up to 150 again akwardly. (lag & frame rate I'm guessing).
I move steadily up though the field passing cars and getting a good draft. I close nearly a 20 second gap to Pagey and rhyf before pitting the first time and being held for what seems like a pointless 10 seconds when I selected the "1 liter of fuel" option. Get going again, drive to the 2nd stop within 9 secs of pagey and rhys before pitting the 2nd time and taking softs again accidentally (fatal mistake, I would now have to stop for a 3rd time and loose 20 seconds to the lame gran Turismo pit crew that takes their diddly old time to change tires and manually pump fuel it at a sloth's pace.)
Pigboy gives me a good hit but I manage to keep it going without a crash, the stop for a 3rd time and go out on the mediums. The fresh tire are nice, I close back in on the leaders once again only to come to the end of a long freight train of cars stuck behind smart heart who'd racing somebody for position. Each person in the long line was racing on a different lap against somebody else in the line so I knew then I wasnt going anywhere and just hung out at the end of the line and cruised in.
Very dissapointed about my half ass gaming.....but Rome is a bad track for me....obviously not for some like pagey.
Pagey had a flawless run with a super fast qualifying time and a solid race pace. I just didnt have my A game today. Maybe I can win some races later on.

I thought that was an excellent race. I had my reservations at the beggining of the race about this race and track but it was disproved. I held back at the start to avoid the shennanigans of the first corner and watched flood zip by 
. i had an excellent battle with sandman. I cocked my pitstops up again. One of my pits my pit crew fell asleep again and i was sat there doing eff all for 5 seconds. one of the others i hit the pit entrance and crashed, then if forgot to put mediums on, so next lap i pitted again so the race continued and eventually the last lap was upon me and i HAD to overtake flood. and i did, rather well AND CLEANLY mr kelton flood. and that was that. great race and congrats too pagey (dejavu much?)

Has an awesome battle with kn for about 21 laps then i pitted due to a demolished rear left. Then went smooth for many laps slowly catching him and had a decent time of 49.550. Sadly he pit and i passed him and had no one to battle so it slowly got boring because of useing a controller. On the final lap it said berty was first then 50ish seconds later pagey won and i was ecstatic. I really like rome as a circuit for racing fgt's wish i was able to use my wheel.

Race report:
I loved this race, and this track. I put in a pretty good quali lap, and started 3rd. I took it pretty easy on the first corner, just missed smithaz as he span and i was second behind rhy. For the next 20 laps rhy, sandman and me were having an epic battle, the positions didnt stay the same 2 laps running. I pitted on lap 20 and came out 35ish seconds behind the lead.
I had clear air and pumped in the lap times, lapped cars were pretty good for me, no real problems, i just used their slipstream to catch rhy. I took a fair bit of time out of the lead, due to rhys bad tyres. I then came in on lap 38 i think for mediums and a splash of fuel. I was in the lead by 10 or so seconds, but at this point i knew rhy was on a one stopper which had me very worried. I really really pushed and was averaging high 47s and pulled out a 20 second lead.
I pitted on lap 55, and came out in 3rd. Mustard pitted which put me up to second, i was around 20 seconds behind with 10 laps to go. I went for it. Consecutive 47s with and i was closing about 2 seconds a lap, due to rhys very old tyres. I caught him on the very last lap, and cruised it in to the finish

SM- Its not fair but in order to get the extra point it needs to. Just the way the system works, I am hoping we can sort your problem so all points count. Put a Q and A in about your problem mate, see if anyone knows a solution.
My report-
Qualified much better than I expected with 2nd, Smithaz was lighting fast in quali and claimed pole. The lights went out and we were off, I quickly jumped into smithaz's draft and made my move early, at the 2nd corner he went wide so I took the inside line. Not sure whether there was contact but I was hugging the wall and smith spun round. In the lead was exactly what I needed for my strategy. I fought it out with Sandman and Pagey for the next few laps
Sandman pitted so it was just me and my closest competitor, unfortunately while lapping PB he spun in front of us both, Pagey clipped him but I picked the wrong line through the smoke and hit his car amidships coming to a complete halt. Aware of my strategy requirements I knew that Pagey had slipped out of my grasp
I began looking after my tyres and putting in 1.49's pitting on lap 33, I came out in 4th (I think) and just contined waiting for the others to pit. They did and only pagey got out just in front of me, I guessed he would have to pit again which he did. At lap 55 my tyres were in a rough way and he was 26 seconds down, I watched the time reduce by 2-3 seconds a lap as I cradled my car through the corners, on the last lap Pagey took 1st and I knew that even with the draft I would have to make do with 2nd so I crossed the line just behind him with my front wheels grinding metal.
Congrats to Pagey and special mention for Sakery (4th) and Electric with an amazing race (5th). Well done guys 👍

Report from me:
Qualy was ok I couldn´t do my pre-tested times (easily mid 48´s) and only did a 49.2.
=> 7th
I started pretty well but couldn´t gain anything because the guys infront drove in 2 lanes
=> I covered my inside for Turn 1.
And I crashed in someone who spun out -_- plus I got pushed from behind
=> Everything was red damaged
=> Far behind (me think last)
Again I had to fight my way back up. Got past Fast-KN and Skate quite quick and did my 49 low´s.
Could get infront of some due to them pitting. I pitted at 24th lap and forgot to switch to Racing Softs => I did 2 stints with RM´s
In addition after my Pitcrew was done I had to park for 10seconds or more -_-
=> I got lapped after I left the Pit
Came out in 8.-10. region. Had some clean air and did my 49´s (a few 48´s) and could gain some positions. But PigBoy caught up on me while I raced with Electric (the whole race btw 👍 ) and overtook me (from my view it was a wierd manouver maybe connection issue ?? I have to relook that one) at lap 33ish.
At Lap 46 last Turns I crashed into smithaz (??) who spun out => I pitted sooner.
After that I had clean air again but after some Laps my final Duell with Electric began.
And for some reason we faught for 5th (4th after Sandmans Black-Screen).
So we passed eachother and we faught hard (both sides). During that Duell I realized that my Tranny was too short (had no back-up revs if drafting).
I got past him and could gain tenth after tenth. Ellis helped me a bit he closed on Electric.
But they had a minor issue with a lapped driver which gave me a few seconds and Electric was alone again.
I crashed into Pagey at Turn 1 at last Lap and I thought now its over and Electric can pass me but I managed to keep my position.
Tough race for sure and it is a OK Combo, except for the Start. I think I´m a magnet for crashing at first turns/laps

Sorry every1, it seems that every1s report contains at some point "smithaz span out and i ran into him". My race went like this, i span on the first corner, was nobodys fault but my own, had no confidence in rear of the car all race (cocked up on set-up, just went for quali laps whenever i practiced) and it just swapped ends on the first corner. Then cocked up a load more on the first lap and had engine damage 3times or so. After that i decided to give up on the race and jsut bring the car home, had a few comings together with pigboy, sorry about that man, then the highlight of my race was a little tussle with flood for a few laps, he got past me in the end and i had to pit again anyway.
Contrary to what alot of u are saying about rome i hated it, but its my own fault really for going into the race with such a bad setup.
Cant make Monza as il be working nights but will be practising hard for suzuka!

PB- Looks like SM's car broke down not cool. Nice vid mate, I am going to review the disconnected point system soon. Applying last place points to help soften the blow and search to see if anyone else has this problem.

What will our kerb/ corner rules be at Monza. I see the lap record is 1:14. That doesnt seem possible without using all the green concrete. Although I haven't driven their yet in this car so maybe it is do-able?
BTW, excited to race a real F1 track. I could win this race

Yes smithy,you did punt me and i didnt see it comming, but dont worry,you didnt mean it..i was 6th at the time and close to 4th & 5th but we all had good tyres so who knows...if i hadnt of spun out alot at the start i wouldnt have been there to punt.....i take the good with the bad and am gratefull to be racing with such good,fair drivers !!

Srry PB from my view it was a "harsh" overtake (I had 3 red Damaged Tires) but seeing it from your view makes it a normal one => me was a bit laggy.
Nice Lap btw.
@Smithaz: If you spinout don´t blame yourself. I just saw smoke and decided the wrong way through it (but that is normal for me)
