2 or 3 stops depending how out and out you are going I guess. If you go really crazy maybe 4 for some people, no 1 stoppers here I reckon.

SM- 1.51! Havent you got college this morning! :)

I might have to invest in a wheel. Im really struggling on a DS3 now :( ive got the pace but not the consistency, i lost soooo much time at monza cus i kept going off the track. I just cant keep concentration with a controller anymore.

Anyone know where i can get a cheap decent wheel??

I have a suggestion to help you pick up the pace. Its fast. Also take a look at your car setup. Do you have too much front downforce? The FGT tends to over steer under braking, so lower your front downforce by a few notches....that can help decrease your times.

NO....... the Ferrari GT wheel is terrible. Might as well buy a DFGT or G27. The cheapest wheels for great performance. You can find new g27's for 250 dollars now. (Dont know conversion rates.)

Cheers i will try that, but its normally because i put the power down too early and run wide catching the gravel or the grass

If you lower the front DF you get way more Understeer => you´ll end up almost the same, but your F-Tires wear more (at least my testing).
Increase the Deacceleration setting at the LSD menu.
I run 11-13 depends on how the Track is etc.
That stables your rear-end and almost delets the braking oversteer.
Softer rear springs help you to get a better traction out of the corners. Soften the Anti-Roll-Bares a bit too (unless you already run under 4/4) helps turning down Tire-Wear a bit.
Hope I can help you with that :D

What.....The ferrari GT is a race winning product. It'll turn him into a racing machine. :sly::sly::sly::sly:

trololololol

lower your rear downforce too. Increased top speed will lower your times. :sly:

Cheers :) i have done what you both said and im quicker, more consistant plus my tyre wear is better :D

Im into the 1.25s now

Damn you pagey!

But if your seriously looking for a wheel, the dfgt is awesome for quality and price.. as used by mercedes gp :D.

Yeah i probably will :) although i will have to wait till pay day

Oh and rhy it looks like im not going to be able to make the Indy 500 race, I am going to be visiting the proud country of wales for a few days :D

Pagey- I would reccomend the DFGT simply because you can get them for £60 (ask electric) and they do the job perfectly well. I have heard no end of complaints about other wheels, dont get caught up in the hype (and the expense). You will be worse for a few days though so start using it on a monday.
Where in wales are you going?
(Pagey with a wheel, what a nightmare) :)

I am at Indy tonight till about ten so no practice for me.

Ellis- VERY oddly, it has been sunny here for ages but normally a kagool is an essential accessory.

False sense of security my friend. Soon as you dont pack a Kagool it will do a stereotypical welsh rain storm

Yeah i will get one of them :) just need to sort out a stand now.
Im going to Carmarthen, my friends at uni and apparently all the girls are gagging for it, the girl to guy ratio is like 6:1.....or so he says :D if he's right might have to take my wellies

PMSL! :D

I use a DFGT. It works very nicely.

Some have told me the G27 is faster....Dont know.

I've tried the Ferrari GT wheel.... LOL

Ellis- From experience I cant argue with your logic. Its called sods law and I believe it applies anywhere 👍

Pagey- I cant write what I want to but if you cant have 'fun' in south wales, you cant have 'fun' anywhere, party people mate! :D

Is your Indy race on Tuesday buddy? As I said before i'd love to fill up the grid for you, that race tonight was pretty damn intense despite the lack of drivers :)

EDIT: 50 laps should take about three quarters of an hour, plenty of time to get to the IndyCar race aswell.

Yeah i did, and tomorrow and friday..

Your never going to be the next JB by neglecting your studies (or being ginger on a public lobby) :D

I am going to come last at Suzuka :( no time to practice!!!

I think pit fuel strategies are useless on this track. The amount this track shreds your tyres its a bit off to try and aim for so amount of laps. As long as you have a vaugue idea i think people neednt worry about pit strategies. And basically I have skyrim and i cannot be bothered doing a fuel strategie

I have changed my tune and can now just about do a 1 stop race. Its not that bad on tyres as long as you dont drift the corners 👍
