Good times mate, you should have full DF though IMO.
Maybe you should start practising Spa as you cant make tomorrows race, thats the one we will all be on through next weeks practices. Shame I didnt get to race you at LS though :(
 
Aye I know, I have the Frankenstein of FGT tunes for Laguna Seca though, which works well for me :) & I know, sucks man! Might have to get a little head-to-head race going on sometime ;)

Sorry but it doesnt work like that, you have to commit to race each track or 90% of the calendar as a regular and 50% as a reserve. As you can see the reserve list is full and I shy away from letting one off drivers in as they are unpunishable if they are poor/dirty drivers.
 
Don't worry. I'm not a dirty driver. I'm not the fastest either. Its just today I have already planned the go kart race etc. From next week, I will be at every race if I am allowed in
 
Hi mate, I was wondering if I could fill an empty spot in your Indy 500 next month since it's non championship and in memory of Dan?

Feel free to say no if you get 2 more drivers before then, but if you want a full grid i'll definitely be there 👍
 
X2010- Ok I will put you in a reserve and you can use your yellow car as freelance. You can be as fast as you like , thats not against the rules. Read the regs in the OP and we have official practice wed/fri @2030.

Tom- Space allowing you would be most welcome mate but I will have to see what happens with numbers. We should have space and then you can give us a lesson in ovals 👍

Yes I am getting U3, 1 and 2 were awesome games and visually the best to be had on PS3. The character movement and plotline make it basically an interactive movie. Online deathmatches are amazing too :)

It involves a nice 50/50 weight distribution. ;)

Race report:
I started in second and managed to grab first from smithaz on the first corner, i held the lead for the lap untill i got rammed from behind and given engine damage. This put me back to 3rd, then i made a mistake and was in 4th. I was on mediums for the first stint so the lead 3 pulled away my a few tenths a lap. I then pitted on lap 10 or 11.
I came back out a few places down, i had some clear air so hunted down sakery and took him on lap 16. And was putting in some fairly fast laps and overtaking as people pitted. I found myself in first and pitted soon after.
I rejoined in 4th, took etid on lap 30 and then sandman. And hunted down smithaz, then overtook him in the pits. I was on my own till i came out the pits when i was in 3rd. I took rhy, who was off pace due to very very old tyres, and i went after smithaz again. I had 6 laps and was around 6 seconds down, i took about a second a lap off and took him on lap 49, then he span on the last corner. So i cruised in for the win :D My maiden win for this season, yay :)
 
My race report

I qualified 5th which wasnt bad considering my lap time was only a little better than average but I was a man with a plan so I didnt worry too much. If I could not spin off once my 1 stop strategy should net me 1st place. I went with this as I knew I didnt have the pace to win on speed alone.
The race started and I lost a place being careful on the first corner, on the second I was shunted sideways but managed to stay on the tarmac (just). Off we went, I overtook a few cars and was following the lead group for a few laps. Paey spun out so I claimed 3rd just behind SM and Smithaz.We stayed that way for a while until I had my first off and I was alone. That was pretty much it, I lapped a few cars and kept good pace until I spun again :(
Everyone I met that I was actually racing with had fresh tyres and mine were wrecked so I pretty much lost all my battles today but 4th was a good finish in the end. I had 4 epic crashes :(
I enjoyed the race and only got mad twice, once when my teamate lost his connection and once when I was shunted out of the way by another driver.
Big well done to the boys on podium, it has been about 15 races since I didnt get a podium finish but thats because people are getting faster and faster as the season progresses :)

Gonna be tuning for Spa already, as who knows, I may try qualifying for the next one. :sly:
 
Pagey- Horrible news man, seeing him just lying there. Its been a bad few weeks for motorsport, with all the fancy guardrails, safety pods and crumple zones I guess we all forget how dangerous it is to be going those speeds. RIP Marco Simoncelli

Audiospark- Pagey had a great race, just pulled the win out of the bag 2nd to last lap :)
