The special brew thing was off topic but only momentarily.But to my knowledge, going off topic is ok as long as it only happens for like a couple of posts. Pages and pages of off topic-ness. That is bad. Couple of posts? Not against the rules to my knowledge but I may be wrong until proven

..soooo how do you think I can go around the first corner 0.002 of a second faster? I've gone 0.001 faster but its just not enough

*Said in a geeky voice* Wellll.. you see you could always increase your front toe by 0.01 but that might increase your tyre wear by 0.02% per lap so its a tough one to decide. Or you could spend 23.956 hours a day practicing, I would recomend you practice getting your back end 0.02 of a millemetre further out, so you can get on the power 0.005 seconds earlier.

I am not sure what we have done wrong as all our/my posts relate to racing or participants in this series. Am I not allowed to joke on here? Is that it?

What about the other threads chatting away about homework and other rubbish?

We havent done anything wrong, Ive read through both the FAQ thing he linked and the AUP to find something that we could have done wrong and theres nothing there. He seems to be just picking on us and not explaining why or what we have done wrong which IMO is not what mods are for, theyre meant to make sure people dont break the rules and thats it but maybe im wrong?

Yeah I bet you are with your pace You should do well tomorrow, if I race well I will be looking at third I think, which is ok for a street circuit (I dont do well on them).

I dont think it will be so easy, there are quite a few people who have done 46s/low 47s, not sure if they were all on full tank or not, but it seems like it will be a close race! 👍

Its one of a few occasions that spring to mind where he has warned us, then when we asked some perfectly valid questions he just ignores us, hardly the correct behaviour for a moderator. If he doesn't answer us then how can we make sure we don't do it again? It's just a pointless and frustrating circle.

Madmax if you do get round to reading this, please don't mistake it for aggression, but warning us about something (which seems pretty insignificant in the first place) and then ignoring our questions is not the way to moderate, in my eyes anyway. So could you please elaborate and answer our questions?


As for tomorrow im looking forward to it, seeing as i won this race last season but people have got faster since then so i think my aim is just to secure a podium and get my season off to a good start

Dont forget the physics have changed and you should be faster yourself. Drivers have improved a lot though

I've never seen any thread besides this get a warning personally.

The 1st turn isn't important. I hate rome because its all luck and how well you just happen to get into the turn. The old rome circuit from GT3-4 was better albeit a little too blind. They should have just widend out the barriers somehow perhaps.

Same, and Ive seen lots of threads breaking the rules all the time by double posting, dont see them getting warnings. And yeh I dont like room too much either, I find the track just doesnt have enough grip so you end up sliding wide into the walls
