Yeah plenty of racing games can pull 4K 60fps especially on a 1080 card.
Some may require textures to be dropped from ultra and perhaps shadows but with very little loss of quality.

Thanks for reply, I have an i7 6700k @4.6 so with the 1070 should get pretty sweet gaming, currently only have a 1080p Phillips Ambilight set anyways. Hoping for 4K next year and also to try and run 21:9 in window mode or custom resolution if possible. For a cockpit I think 34" 21:9 still a bit small.
Regards the 4K HDR some people may record via 4K camera. Youtube has a few people doing this already and while we cant see HDR on non HDR sets it still gives a nice impression.
btw, some TV models DO support HDR in Game mode (Samsung SUHD KS8000) and one of the recent Panasonic models also does (not sure model). MANY however do not and will have much response times closer to 100 or more rather than 20-40ms
