On what platform will you play FH3?

The FFB in Apex is quite poor. tbh.
After using it for a while it has grown on me. The key is to set it low enough to give the nuances a chance (at least on the T300). Sure, it's not up to AC or rFactor 2 standards, but it's perfectly usable in combination with the excellent sounds to understand car grip levels.

Even if it's cross-play and all, it's still really really pricy for a pc games that you can play only on windows 10 pc.

So if I find a cheap console version, it will unlock it on my pc if I use the same account on both shops ?
Its not 100 bucks for the game , its 60 for the game and 40 for the dlc , no one is forcing you to to buy the 100 version.

It's all based on expectations... I guess I'm easily pleased. If I had to use a gamepad, I wouldn't play it so I guess that's why it's fine with me. Of course it would be great if it felt like R3E or rF2 but I don't expect that level of FFB.

The problem is, i just don't like the feeling of it compared to like for example GT, or Assetto Corsa, rFactor, etc. There's no feeling of what the vehicle is doing. The FFB is just to simple and plain, maybe it will change in FH3, if not. Ill stick to the gamepad.

Which wheel?

Sorry I'm old and I don't see it that way, If I want the full game it will cost me 100, if I buy at 60 I'll just feel like I bought half the game.

Aye, I get that feeling as well. Getting the DLC piece by piece is more expensive than the car pass, too...

I'll be waiting for the demo, I suppose. Been waiting for Forza to come to the PC for the last three years. An additional week isn't making a speck of difference.

Just buy additional DLC at sale, if you are cheapskate  People dont get it, but development of such a huge and detailed world and hundreds of cars isnt cheap. 60$ for a game was OK back in the 90th, but for now its too cheap, especially, if you look at the sales of previous 3 Forza franchise games(and compare it with sales of GT1/2).

Oh, I do get it.

My employer did not, however. I'm still missing that raise to account for the increased production cost that is being forwarded to the customer.

I'm older , and to me the extra content isn't worth it. I always buy the base game as I'm not into collecting. I end up with very small garage as I particular on what I race - I find what I like and race it to death. Tracks are another thing though, if they included extra tracks I would purchase the extra content.

On the opposite side, I really like how new interesting content will trickle in monthly. There's always a surprise or two which floats in and gives you another reason to try something out, and usually associated monthly challenges built around the new content.

That might explain the differences in FFB experience. TX/T300 users appear happy with the FFB, but you are giving a less positive impression.

I think its a 50/50 on the community

It's pretty bad. There's no feedback in anything. You're solely relying on what you're seeing on screen, and even that isn't going to work out too well.

True, but as long as the problem or opinion isn't based solely on a particular wheel (unless you have the same) or it's a configuration issue. For APEX, I didn't have any FFB until I enabled spring and damper in the Thrustmaster control panel. Then there are relative comments - if comparing to R3E then the FFB isn't very good, if comparing to GRID it's very good, just saying. For an arcade game is does the job.

When i press the FH3 icon now , it says FH3 is not available for you. Instead of the ''you are too early''

Anyone else got this?
I'm getting the same thing yeah. Might be a sign of pre-load appearing soon on PC or something?

The one thing that bothers me right now on Apex, is that the turning radius on G27 isn't full range. It's a 900° wheel and yet I only use about 15% of that in regular gameplay (limited to 180°) and it's way too sensitive >.>

Odd, I have spring and damper disabled in drivers for the T300 and I'm getting acceptable FFB without them....

To tell you the truth, I've always had my spring and damper off in the control panel for all of my PC sims and didn't change when I first started with APEX, FFB was fine. One day I restarted APEX and the FFB was gone. I enabled spring and damper and FFB was back. It was strange. I haven't tried disabling spring and damper again to see the effect on APEX. I mentioned as someone may be experiencing the same strange behavior, and because I read someone claimed no FFB.
