On what platform will you play FH3?

It's shown as already owned when viewed as part of the Ultimate Edition package, but once you bring the VIP pack up to actually install it, it just asks you to drop the 19.99 again to purchase it.

The reviews on the Windows Store are filled with complaints from folks not receiving their VIP status and whatnot, so it seems like a common problem. Bit miffed about that.

Got the same problem here. The VIP and Car Pass only shows that its "Owned" not "Installed" like the base game itself. Any workarounds?
 
Does the game support Sli ? I'ts probably not but I wanted to ask anyway if anyone had the chance to test it out yet.
 
So who else is having the PRE-LOAD errors and the game dropping the download or it not installing?
Ive tried 4 times to download like others (likely over 120 GB on attempts)

Not yet, it seems. Going by the FM.net forums, the issue has yet to be acknowledged by Microsoft at a all. Feels pretty bad to be missing out on credits and extra wheel spins.

That aside, is it just me or does the game bog down after entering a festival building? Not only an I getting half the Fps in there compared to the outside - nope, from time to time, the game will fail to "recover". I'll be stuck with < 30 Fps for no apparent reason. Not a memory leak either - never went past 8GB used out of the 12 I have.

Just when I build that lovely, lovely S30 :ouch:
 
I've let the download on during all night again, 30gb and ...... RESTART AGAIN ! !
For the moment I just paid 100€ for nothing and about asking for a refund.

I will not try to download again this week, my Internet speed is slow and I need to work with...

My PC edition download (49.0GB) completed without issues on Wednesday. I should have time to try it out this evening.

Very curious if I'll have the same issue as is being reported on the net about PC Ultimate Edition extras (like VIP) not showing as installed properly.

I've seen most people are having that issue including me :/. It says that the DLC's are "Owned" but definitely not taking any effect in game which took me a while to realise (I'm level 21 and just realised) So I have missed out on a lot of bonuses but oh well.

Also a question for anyone, is there a way to reset progress after you finish the game? Thanks!

I had a similar thing happen when I was downloading Halo 5: Forge on Windows 10. File was supposedly 32GB, then the store told me I was downloading 55GB. Restarted the store page and had to download all over again....

That sounds very frustrating... mine downloaded (49.0 GB) but I only bought the standard edition - of course can't try until Tuesday. I assume you've checked the obvious - disk space, background apps like anti-virus, ISP caps, etc.. Have you had problems with other "very large" downloads.

Yes looked into many factors but same problem was being reported on gaming websites and forums with various people trying to do things. Some had different error codes. Personally I think it was down to their own servers not coping and the congestion causing issues as I only started downloading yesterday.

In the end I did get it downloaded (6th attempt) but as assumed with no GPU it wont run anyways. Have a 1070 coming but due to (wife requiring a new tumble drier) it had to come before my toys. Also sold my Xbox earlier in the year to fund the new PC, lol. So at least the drier will be spinning but my wheels in Horizon wont. :ouch:

Will have to wait a few weeks but oh well, got plenty of people showing images and videos to keep me eager to play.

What's wrong with your wife hanging the laundry outside - much cheaper and environmental friendly than a tumble drier :D Priorities man!
 
I'm pretty sure my rig can handle FMH3, but my concern is wheel support. I'm running a Fanatec CSR with club sport pedals. I haven't seen a "confirmed" wheel support thread/list (Google a while ago but nothing in stone).

Does anybody have know of an official list?
 
So appertly the vip works on pc , just started it on the pc for the first time and went online and there was a crown next to my name.

Didnt played it that much since its stuttering too much , but when it doesnt o man , 65 fps feels so smooth.

Im gonna reinstall the .90 driver tomorrow to see if it fixes that and if the weird Rainbow 6 siege graphics are gone.
Untill then ill stick to the xbox.

It goes through the motions of updating but after some time it gets to a black loading screen. Last night it got to this point and I left it on while I slept but it was still loading when I woke up.
 
I'm playing with a 960 on high at 1080p 30fps. The menus are a little laggy however (as in, upgrade menus). I can't get a stable 60fps, the game constantly slows down, in animation instead of actual FPS.

i7 4790k @4.6GHz
Strix 960 4Gb
24Gb 2133 DDR3
on HDD
 
It seems this title is much more demanding than Apex was and bit of a surprise.

Here is a good article on PC version covering many resolutions and even benefits of much faster loading times.

"If I wanted to enjoy FH3 anywhere near the rock-solid 60fps refresh that I got from Forza Apex 6 on Windows 10, I had only one option: 1080p resolution at "dynamic high" visual settings. This setting survived the Water's Way race more than any other, surpassing 1440p at "dynamic medium" and 4K at "dynamic low," and it also held up throughout the course of normal racing throughout the massive expanses of Forza's virtual Australia."

Should i buy the ultimate version of this for pc? Does it support the Fanatec Clubsport Wheel V2 and pedals plugged direclty into pc instead of into the base?
 
God this launch has been a total disaster so far. I'm lucky enough I was able to actually download/install/play the game but I am missing my VIP stuff that should be included. What's kind of annoying is FH3 early release has been out for 24+ hours in some places and there has been almost total radio silence from T10/Playground. I don't want to keep playing the game until I get all the features I was promised, even though I paid extra to play the game early...
