I asked in the briefing (11th-30th still had to be there for day 2) whether or not the championship rankings would have any bearing on the World Final, seeing as though we didn't know that the online rankings would carry over until they did. Their answer was that they haven't finalised the format yet, but we as a collective pushed forward the idea of a Salzburg style qualifying session to reseed the players. That would be fairer seeing as the championship still used the online season for draft order.

Also the madmen took us to Akihabara... and didn't arrange lunch at a maid cafe! They must pay for these weeb crimes through a traumatic experience of being forced to buy a Honda Fit over and over again!

Nani?

Just watched the Manufacturer Series Exhibition, and it is really entertaining! From pro drivers having issues racing in GTS, to employees not knowing their way around Suzuka, and the big battle between their GT representatives, which culminated with Kerokkuma ending up becoming a rolling road block into the Casio Triangle! Congratulations for Team Mazda with Itagaki-san, Kato-san, and young talent RyuRyuRS for winning said chaotic Battle Royale!

I want to know who had the idea for this,it must be Kaz it's a mad idea that could've gone wrong lol

The manufacturer exhibition race was a really good bit of fun to be honest, fair play for hosting it! Although you can definitely tell boost was on, but I think it was needed and presented a good fun race! Will be interesting to see if the feedback from the first regional affects the 2nd or whether it gets implemented in the future.

Also forgot to post this anywhere, if you want to get a feel of what the Austria world tour was like;

The greatest thing about the Manufacturer Exhibition race was how much fun everyone was having, even the GT drivers, people went off track and they were smilling such a "feel good" race motorsport in general needs more of these,Kart racing with F1 drivers how about that?

Ferrari would still find a way to botch their Kart pit strategy

Probably a dumb question, but where can I watch Sunday's Asia/Oceania region races? The stream stops after two repechage events at Tsukuba.

Only 24h to confirm if you're able to participate the Las Vegas event . I've received this email today. I will not go anyway, i don't have the driving level in my opinion and also i can't travel now anyway. Place to youg people that really want to make an eventual real racing career.

Is it a good idea to post private emails?

Shame. I would've had my favourite tuner to cheer on.

I dunno man. I reckon it'd be pretty cool to have an older player at one of the events. Age should not be a barrier to having fun.

Youngsters will always have a different perspective anyway. I know, I was one once.

This is what my son is saying to me all the time ... Unfortunately it's imposible for me at the moment to leave the pizza shop , nobody to take my place doing pizza and the crisis is huge here in Brasil lately. Struggling to pay the bills of the house and my son business school.
My real life hobby is also taking all my very few free time . I have a little boat that need a refit after an "accident".
Anyway , it's ok this way and i love to play GT here alone at home at night. Not a fan of spotlight too.

You're right the more diverse these events are the better, the slogan "Driving is for everyone" is not aimed for only 20 year olds

Not taking part because you think it will be full of loads of 20 year olds just makes that true?

Anyway, at the EMEA Region Events, very few were 20 or near

I think he's saying he would rather give his spot to a young person who has a real shot at a racing career, which is a young man's game.

I don't think that's the only reason these events exist,Tidgney talked about this i think, you go to these live events to have fun, opportunities can appear but there is enough space in these events for people who want take those offers and those who just want to have fun.

That's cool. The world final should be interesting. I'm rooting for Dodgelamb. I've seen what that guy does with the Alfa Romeo 4C Gr.4 and I couldn't be more impressed. As someone who knows how much slower that car is than the rest of the pack, I'm always shocked to see him creep into the top 10 and sometimes be at #1 with that thing while everyone else is using much faster cars. Funny he's got dodge in his name but he rep's alfa like me.

Well, I don't always rep alfa. I love the 4C Gr.3 so much but hate being last place in the Gr.4 at tracks like Monza and bathurst. It's like the other cars are Gr 3's sometimes
