Us in Asia gave them a better solution; reversing the draft order so that whoever picks first for the N500 race would have to pick last in Gr3. That would've been fairer than this at least, and I'm not buying the time constraints excuse because surely drawing balls took just as long as a draft would have?

At least this is only an exhibition when compared to the seriousness that is the selection match. Or at least I hope it's an exhibition and that this doesn't end up becoming World Final seeding. I think they're learning not to do this as Europe actually got a qualifying session for both the block races and the repecharge.

Fair Game, no one know which car they getting were getting. Could be ****** car or good car.

Imagine if F1 drivers had to pick what team they were racing with through a raffle, the championship would literally be decided by luck, and that's exactly whats going to happen here.

Some of those N500s are well over a second off the pace, and some Gr3s are entirely useless on high tyre wear multipliers, its just a farce.

Ok, this is actually the stupidest thing they've done yet

I think this is a better system (still a poor system) than before.

Previously, the fastest guys would definitely get the fastest cars, and the slower guys would definitely get the slower cars, and you would end up with too many gaps and it would be too predictable. Before, the fastest guys were given advantage over advantage over advantage, which just heavily penalised people qualifying only 0.5s back.

You know that you're just validating McLarenB's argument that Nations Cup races should be all one-make right? :D

Personally, I would favour free choice instead, aka the online NC rule. You still get some variety in the cars and strategies employed, but everyone is on a level playing field and can drive whatever they think will get them the fastest finishing time.

Maserati GranTurismo S appears as the new car in this event!

Okie dokie, allow me to make a quick prediction:

Actual RIP to whoever draws that Alfa 4C Gr3, no-one on that grid can save the sheer pace disadvantage that thing has

For those that know, are the Gr3 cars on the regional in different BOP from the game based on those stats Kaz tweeted?

There is only one true 'fair' way to decide this championship...

Free run lobby at Willow Springs Horse Thief Mile. Winner is whoever does the best aerial trick off the bank.

Could you calm down with the negativity? You're not forced to watch all this you know.

If somethings good I'll call it out, such as the qualifying format change yesterday and the new GrB BoP

However, equally, if something has no place in a competitive environment, I'll call it out, random factors have no place in a competition to decide the "European Champion", it doesn't even add anything to the broadcast, only "this guy should be doing really well but isn't because he drew a rubbish car"

Speaking as someone who has been screwed by getting stuck in a car that's miles off the pace at a live event before, it's not fun and it doesn't feel fair, so I 100% feel for the guys that get hard done by it.

Couldn't PD just use the manufacturer the drivers choose for the Manu Championship instead of "luck of the draw" ?For example,if i choose Renault for the 2019 Season i would have to use the Renault for the live events. At least it could work for the Gr 3 races,i don't know how they would work out the N-class races.

Can't be worst than have option to choose between William and Mclaren Honda era. I understand you where you come from. To be honest the N500 is very broken, I don't really enjoy much. So far GT3 look good enough balance to me.

Afaik the BoP on the N500 and GR3 cars are not the same as in the game we have, they adjusted it for the other events so why shouldn't they do it now? or am i remembering it wrong?

They adjusted the Gr B BOP for yesterday's races and those were the best races of that event, the same could happen here but i also remember how unballanced the N-Class race at Fuji with the Corvette outrunning everyone else.

@TRL LIGHTNING gets the pole position by over 5 tenths ahead of Fuvaros!

He really is the Lewis Hamilton of GT Sport #blessed #bestfans #cookies
