Tidgney P3 tho!
4

a 0.40 difference from second place

So... qualifying took place at Alsace then? Those times look way too slow to be at the new track.

Nope it was at catalunya mate!
It's as i said, we were using the Hangar 7 settings from the world tour event which is basically less downforce

2nd, 3rd and 4rd in the same tenth. ^^

Coque on the other hand, seems like screwed his lap. No way he's that off the pace.

I wonder if @TRL LIGHTNING had a special breakfast at the hotel today... :D

I was actually eating only two apples today xD

@TRL LIGHTNING gets the pole position by over 5 tenths ahead of Fuvaros!

You might wanna double check those numbers. :P

Over 4 tenths is impressive regardless though. Spanish apples > German cookies?

Anyway, we have Spanish cava in the fridge, ready for enjoying good races and hopefully celebrating podiums of fellow GTPlanet members. Especially rooting for @Tidgney, @Aderrrm and @TRL LIGHTNING, but good luck everyone! :gtpflag:

Could you calm down with the negativity? You're not forced to watch all this you know.

How dare one of the best drivers in the game give constructive feedback which would not only keep delivering great racing but make it much fairer for those taking part as well!

The positive changes to the format have been made because of these criticisms, PD are listening and they want our feedback good and bad. They've admitted themselves there was a few things that didn't work as well as intended. Just showering them with praise won't fix fundamental issues.

Alsace is the ideal Gran Turismo track. You may not like it, but this is what peak driving simulator looks like.

In all seriousness though, I don't get why Alsace is so hated. It just adds to the impression that some people will dismiss everything that isn't Group 3 on the real world tracks. Feel free to hate on the E-Sports readiness that is another starting grid error though :D.

If someone were to approach me with a microphone at the Worlds asking "hey Lewis, what do you think of Alsace?" The resulting answer would not be very PG.

and would you look at that, the 4 wheel drive Audi R8 is absolutely plowing its front tyres putting Fuvaros at a massive pace disadvantage... *sigh*

edit: Also the M4 looks insane on the straights, leaves everything else standing

No Tidgney!!

Mangano loves contact! How many warnings will he get until he’s given a penalty?

Hizal is great but that McLaren with lots of frontal downforce is unstoppable.

The director cut the most important moment of the end of the race, good grief.
Didn't expect the M4 being this good. Still once again, cars are not properly balanced. At this point make one make.

Mangano is good, he is extremely aggressive though. Not sure how this race didn't get any penalties.

Ok, did they strap a jet engine to that 4C lol, its actually hanging around on straights which is good to see, its really telling just how much impact BoP has when drivers who were doing naff in Race 1 are suddenly shooting by people like its nothing in Race 2
