Wow, can’t believe how fast Igor was on those hards. Simply outclassed everyone else in that race, especially in that first stint.

Nice to see drivers from all three regions on the podium, they all drove great in their own way in those four races and they all deserve to be on the podium.

Congrats @Igor Fraga!

Great series and fun to watch, wish all the races had been longer even if nations had of reduced the race count by one event.

Nations should be the event that is all about the drivers and the races should all be one make events, Hard to make a case for the event just being the best driver when a car assignment could be what keeps a driver from being competitive.

Manufacturers is the event that can showcase the different cars and that event is built on the finals racers competing and qualifying in the different car types.

But make the nations the drivers performance event it is billed with all facets even to be next Nations Championship. Tire and pit strategies are fine as that is still the same for all drivers, but one make races only please, and not one two lap single qualifying event having such a long lasting effect on race starting positions.

That Really was some Class driving in all the races, I was shaking with excitement throughout.
I'll be honest though...I don't believe any of the drivers lost or failed to win the championship, I feel everyone who went gained an experience they'll never forgot, they raced there hearts out and gave all of The Gran Turismo Sport followers/Players/Watchers some of the best live racing ever seen and by far the best exciting commentary I've ever seen too. To my mind - They all won and I can't wait till next year to see which of us here from GT Planet will be appearing on the podium next time

Congartulations to @Igor Fraga! With that amazing comeback he proved that he truely deserved his title. It wasn't just hotlapping that was how it looked like to gonna be in the beginning. After the Interlagos race he fought his way so incredible back, and how! Outpacing all the other superaliens with slower tires!

@TRL LIGHTNING same to you mate, started 10th in the first race and climbed up the ranks from race to race, what an amazing show! Big Congratulations to you also Mikail!

Nick Makozi, I admit I underestimated him before the Asian/ Oceanian event. And considering the names participating in this final, he wasn't the one to end up on podioum in my prediction, but he proved me so wrong and showed us all whats in him! Big Congratulaions!

Igor was absolutely AMAZING! Insane comeback drive from that incident in Monza. What an awesome format. Huge respect to Nik Mazkozi for the dark horse result, really wowed us all! What an arrival! Love that they confirmed that they'd be doing this again next year at the end of the stream, can't wait!!!!! GET READY!

Here's the archive if anyone wants to watch the stream and hear us at the same time. You can see a picture-in-picture of the feed we were watching so you can easily sync up.

Hm, the races were amazing, indeed. But I'm kinda disappointed in the venue's rather small size and small crowd for something of this caliber. I was expecting... bigger than this. And as someone said earlier, not much of the GT series' own music was being used here apart from the ending theme and one of Nittoku Inoue's songs. Felt like (and sorry for the pun here. XD) not much of the series' own soul was on display here, honestly. =/

Regardless, congrats to Igor Fraga for winning the Nations Cup. That was, again, amazing.

Floorspace in Monaco is super expensive. This was rather generous space considering where they were! But I agree with your overall sentiment. GT Sport has plenty of room to grow though, so keep tuned!

Was pleased to see both Shawn Layden and Shuhei Yoshida at the event. Together with the announcement of an even more ambitious 2019 FIA series it bodes well for continued GT Sport support.

It’s also good to see the highly positive reception to these events when threads are posted on general gaming sites like Resetera.

Congratulations to Igor! Great driving in the Americas finals and inspiring driving in the World Finals. Absolutely deserved.

I for one am excited for all the interviews in the coming days from the events for some juicy details. :P

Congrats to @Igor Fraga for the fantastic win , the last race was really electric.
Congrats to all the others finalist too, everybody there have such a level that make this event a great entertainement.
I feel sorry for Nico , but i'm sure he will come with everything to the next championship , with a ton of experience from this one.
This was amazing.

Yep, quick look at some moments from the final confirms my earlier point. Imagine being in Kokubun's shoes and knowing that you've been robbed any chance whatsoever of becoming a world champion because the lucky dip gave you three crapboxes?

I don't know what to say, everybody already told about the awesomeness of this event, and the little fixes they can make next year

Congratulations To @Igor Fraga and the others, it was an amazing event :D
