Oh crap! Do you mean to tell me I've been practicing on the wrong damn track! Bahahah

In that case 1:25 will be easy. 1:20 should be possible. I know that track like the back of my hand...lol

Ok, now that I know I've been doing the wrong track....I've started on Laguna :D

I've been able to get consecutive 'clean' laps on the track according to the practice mode. Mostly 1.22 and a couple of 1.21s. But that was only with the XJ220 without tuning :D
It only dawned on me when you miss spelt monza

So you thought I was that bad of a driver that I'd actually get 1.47 on Laguna? :D
I was trying to work out what was going on to get that slow times the only thing was you confusing the brake hp for the pp limit

Nah. I can't believe I made such a stupid mistake :D

Getting some good times though. So far I've done XJ220 and the Zonda LM. Both getting me an average 1.22 (Never more than 1.22.500)

I've still yet to tune them. The Zonda gives me too much spin on the final corner. Even with throttle control. I'm thinking about using it as a manual so I can leave it in a higher gear going around the corner....

Going to attack the track again tomorrow. Then I'll start adding tyre wear/fuel depletion.

Always practice with tyre wear on i know on lap 2/3 is the optimum point for a quick time
A long first gear may be what's needed brake earlier and run slightly wide onto the tarmac on the other side of the kerb 0.5 can be gained on the last corner it may be more and the corkscrew has two different quick lines on it
a good exit will be the difference of 5-10 mph at the end of the straight
I'm happy to help as the chance of winning is almost 0 but i enjoy helping other so there competitive as thats good sportsmanship.

I'm not sure which car to use. I don't have access to all of them yet as I'm rebuilding my GT5 game post ps3 fail

Citroen or the Nissan GTR Prem DLC...

joe ive just noticed that im down for the panoz, im running the zonda from now till the end of the season... just a heads up ;)

Ok. So I'm assuming we have to power limit the cars? Because my stock zonda lm comes in at 650bhp. And by stock I meam never driven . I chucked on ballast to get to 1270kg since stock is 150. And ive limited it to the proper bhp....hoping its all correct. .

Cars have to be broke-in or I believe penalties will be handed out. 👍 :)

Hi joe, i would like to join if there is any spaces available for this Saturday

Username = RichyB28 - PSN = richyboy2mil.
Not sure what car yet, can I use any of the cars on the list on page 1?, will do a test if there is still a space on the grid

there will be space

Right, Hanibal. There should be a 2 per car limit on choice as well. Theres over a dozen to choose from, so please try all the cars. I may surprise people with my choice!

Maybe at some stage today we should all lock in what car we are driving and Joe can then update the OP so that anyone else like the newcomers can organise theirs around the list!

I think it looks like everyone is in a different chassis or there are two of couple anyway!

I have two choices in mind. If the C5R and Camaro can go to 1250 I might drive one. If not its the Fairlady Z LM for me.

Just sent FR to you Joe

I just accepted do you know what car you want to use?

What entails a broken in car? Isn't it just a few hundred miles on the clock?

181mi but 200 mi will do it for sure. Just B spec bob around the Laguna seca 200 mi race and that will be all complete! 👍

I have a better way to present the op so there is less confusion too.

I just updated the op with car & driver tags under the car pics. Any drivers not listed is because I'm not sure which chassis their driving for this Mazda Rd Btw,...

I'll up date them to 1250kg I want to get the chassis on track and competing and if one presents its self dominating then slow it back down to pace with the field.

Recent News:
I just clocked another 250km run just to make sure were racing at least 1.5hr distance and I conformed that this is the right distance for this round. The race should last roughly 1hr 35mins to 1hr 40mins. Very close to the Monza round. Also just like Monza there will be 2 pit windows; 2 stopper & 3 stopper and we well take fuel even-tho its a 250km race. I clocked those too and both strategies are within seconds of each other. I would try focusing on not to make a mistake!!!

Tom's Supra Update:
The Tom's Supra will weight in at 473hp/1240kg <--- Turbo 2 or 3 allowed'
At this setting the car can accelarate as quick as the Dodge Viper, but is still lacking high mph trap speed at the mile mark. It does make up for it in the handling dept, and it can draft up too and draft pass any chassis in the field at these settings!

Next Update:

Stealth Mclaren'

I was able to run 1:20.4xx with the Camaro LM AND 1:20.5xx with the C5-R with full fuel. The camaro is deceptively quick. It isnt really fast, but has great cornering you don't realize. I suggest running these cars with 42-46 points of front downforce with 58-62 rear points. Then try negative rear toe @ -.40 and front toe at .05 and you will have great turn in.

I noticed that as well. I've yet to try it full out on Laguna, but it's on my to do list :D

I'll try that setting, that was the problem I was having with that LM Camaro too. Turn in' 👍

Could anyone give me a rough idea on which lap would be best to pit on, having trouble with strategy!!
