The possible problem with this car is it handles well at stock downforce which is very low so if we balance this car at full downforce and a driver runs stock downforce this car could be rocket ship blowing out the competition thru the speed traps!

I found it to be an utter 🤬 in a straight line, even with low downforce,

Is that practice room still open?

Ok so I will test the Supra too, but if you say its a dog down the straights then ill try 453hp & 463hp max. After that ill go to kg'

Bummer. Could've sworn there was a race this weekend :s.

Oh well, looks like I'm out of the season till mid August. Please keep me on your friends' list as I will be returning!!

There was going to be a sprint race, but it was decided in the other forum that the series was getting closed do to the fact there was more interest in the 300km seris.
Race is this next Sunday at Mazda 👍

I was hitting the track pretty hard to produce a low 21, but I'm still at Monza downforce. If I run full downforce then maybe ill find another second, but I felt 19's were done by only the super fast guys on empty fuel tanks imo'

agreed my 20's were perfect laps wit fresh tyres at half full tank

I would've loved to compete in this! ;(

Oh well. Will wait till the next one. Hopefully you won't choose 10pm at night on a Sunday :D

Not the fastest but I'm happy I'm keeping up with the pack! Nailing 1:21s easily, still trying to get a little lower though

Imo the Tom's Supra needs to be at 1200kg it does feel sluggish in a straight line. I tried @ 1250kg 1st and was stuck in the 23's at default. I put on a decent Mazda tune and was able to get into the 22's but when I pulled out the Viper I ate into it in every sector. Funny thing is the Supra felt faster in the turns then the Viper, then I noticed I was out accelarating the Supra so I dropped to 1200kg and was just off pace then my Viper by .200 to .400 tenths. Then I put my Viper setup on the Supra and then I was able to beat my Viper time by about .300 tenths max. My final downforce for both cars was 42/65. @ full downforce the Supra just got slower. I need to take this thing to Route X and see how much damage this possile 50kg less does in a straight line, or side by side wit another driver. TnT is signin on so I'm sure I can get him to join me fo a spin at Speed Route X for some kg and downforce testing.

'97 Tom's Supra @ 463hp/1200kg <---- Best Lap: 1'21'3xx

Well done! Sounds like the new supra is going to be a real contender once there is a driver in it!

Supras are my favorite car, but I've already swapped to the Audi, and I have done a couple of hours of practice so don't want to go swapping again! Haha

Is that the final spec Joe?

Not just yet I must see how this car pulls in a straight line with other chassis before I can give the green light on a GT1 downforce car at such a low weight. I would like to take this Supra to Monza and see how it holds up in a draft as well. Me & Tnt will be on tonight and Thursday to get at least the Supra sorted out. Imo it turns better than the Viper, but I'm still .500 tenths quicker in the Viper ove the Supra but I believe at these Supra reg's its all tuning not reg's. I usually balance cars at there stock settings but for this series I have been actually tuning the car to so see if it can get on pace. If its naturally stock setup is of pace by 1 sec that's good because a driver will find 1 sec via tuning. But when the car is 2 to 3 seconds off pace after tuning the thing, then to me its the reg's.

If you give the Supra more power you can negate the handling advantage with ballast. So 463hp with turbo 3 and 1220kg. That will help top speed imo.
