After the Nurburg race I had to g into family mode but today all the results go up. But off top I believe 300km is 22 laps. We will do either 20 laps or 22 laps at the most. Will start the same time as Nurburg which was 12pm and a slightly faster progression of 14. I'm simualting tonight so ill post the final room settings tonight but at least that will get you started! : tup:

Thanks man!

I'm going to say this now
I am leaving the series for several reasons
1. Driving standards
Every race I have competed in I have been forced off the track or into a wall at least once I understand that some of it is lagg but for 95% its used as a get out clause. This is not a problem for faster drivers but Im a slow guy and so I end up at the back
2. Connections
The sucesess of this series is its own downfall on paper it's highly appealing and should be good but having drivers who are based further that outer mongolia means my line is under enormous load I suspect a lot of my problems is caused by my ISP trying to reduce the bandwidth load on the lines.
These two are the main factors that have ruined the series for me as it now more of a chore. The formula is very good and almost everyone has good standards and friendliness but I am going to leave and focus on joes gt500
Hope every one has a good time And remember bumper cam has a mirror so I can see things like a jag ramming me off

The connection issues last were actually a full blown PSN issue, it kicked 90% of PSN users across 20 minutes,

Red Flag Report

~Drivers we had a monster blow out on the psn this past Sunday as a lot of you know already. We Red Flagged the Race and I just put together a Red Flag Report that was sent out to the stewards. They are currently making a decision on my judgement facts of the Red Flag point of the race, and the verdicts should be in very soon. If verdicts are for then I will release a copy of the report s drivers know exactly why the Red Flag was deployed on that particular lap. Thank You! 👍

Le Mans Room Settings

Time Progression ~ 14
Race Start Time ~ 12pm
Weather ~ 0%
Surface Water ~ 0%
Tires/Tyres ~ Medium Compound for this Le Mans round and future Nurburgring rounds

Lots of cars will be getting left at Sarthe with the long straights. Going to heavily favor the Vettes.

I predict:
All Vette front row,
Ford/Zonda/Viper next
BMWs
GTRs/Audi

Also, Racing Mediums for this weekend and then back to softs for the rest of the season?

Red Flag Offically Completion of Lap 10

Red Flag Report
Here's the timeline

  • [*]Lap 6 Rich & Will dropped from 10th and 11th, and Jordy moves from 12th to 10th position
[*]Lap 7 Joe is in the lead, no drops
[*]Lap 8 I-was-there is in the lead, no drops
[*]Lap 9 Seth drops on his own recognizance, and Plux moves down the grid from 5th to 7th. Plux drops on his own recognizance but other than that no other drops that lap, Johnb is in the lead
[*]Lap 10 No other drops but lead changes that will eventually filter out to what is the offical finishing order. Rightfully so this was the actually correct turn out for the pace that all drivers had in this race. Johnb is in the lead going into the pits and cross the line before Gprilli assumes the lead for the next lap which was lap 11 when the big one happen and disconnected everyone!
[*]Lap 11 Johnb in the lead and everyone else drops except for Gprilli, Joe, Dave, and Jordy

Based off where the drivers positions was when they dropped I called the RedFlag on completion of Lap 10 right after the moment that Plux dropped. Will & Rich drop from 10th & 11th so they will get 10th & 11th pts and Seth's drop was self induced so he would get his pts from the time he dropped. There was no other drops that lap. Rich & Will would be the most unlucky of the bunch so far but they would only lose 2 and 4pts since they were 10th & 11th out of 12th total. Also Jordy moved up to 10th so to make it fair to everyone he would retain his 10th position pts since he made it all the past the major disconnect with the last 4 of us. And to be fir to Will & Rich they would get their 10th & 11th pts also which actually doesnt effect anyone but them personally. The reason why I pick Lap 9 is because that was the lap that Plux dropped from a 7th place position which would effect the possible turnout, and the next drop point at lap 10 everyone dropped and there were no position changes so that writes off that lap. At completetion of Lap 10 is where most of us was still racing except for Will & Rich whom were already 10th & 11th out of 12so not much done there if they keep there pts for that position, and also the race was way pass the %60 race distance by Lap 10. Plux dropped hime self from the last pts paying position leaving only Jordy sitting in the pits in last place on the grid. This is the best I could do granted this being my 1st red flag situation. I will now be putting a Red Flag clause in both our op's! 👍

i would suggest you focus more on driving standards than events like this

The only way I know how to is if you guys come to the stewards with an incident that we can penalise like we did over in the Jstc Series. Penalising them is the only thing I can do thru a internet based system, because I have warned drivers pm but that seems to not stick. I do believe that every incident with you is not lag induce and you are being a victim of your connection being exploited. The best I can do texting & typing is tell all drivers plz respect the OLR rules of drivers conduct plz guys!!!And if any drivers have an issue with something that happen on track report it to the stewards so the offending driver can have his points ripped away!

Not trying to start anything, but you got some connection issues to work out before you claim someone is driving bad, especially around you. PSN been acting weird lately as well so that could be playing a part. Maybe not every issue is lag, but people need to chill out a little with the finger pointing.

Just in case TnT, Dave, and I did half the distance test run and his room held up nicely so we will host this next round out of his lounge just to be on the safe side. On a lighter note I since another epic race going down at Le mans if you can keep your car under control on breaking. I do wish I had more setup tie there are a couple of different setups and strategies I would love to try here.

Points Update coming in today' (I shouldn't even be up this late)

if no one is lagging and i get rammed off by someone i know its the driver however the majority of the incidents are driver not knowing the limits
just look above with plux and dave i think it was they took each other out in retaliation
adding light damage may aid this but what goes on in the first few laps fundamentally affects the rest of the race
The point is standards have got to improve during the first few laps
I'm a bit confused as to how joe is going to fix an issue with psn?
point one was driving standards

Me and Dave have sorted our differences. I've apologised for my retaliation to what I now understand as a mistake...

For reference I'm able to turn low 3:56's/high 3:55's with the Vettes, compared to high 3:57's with cars like the GTR's, XJ220 and the lower powered cars (~450) besides the Fords. A lil bop should be given for this round imo, Joe!

I would but the Vette's get screwed on tracks that require downforce which we can't aid them. This would just open a big can of worms. Us drivers must look at the cars & tracks and make a decision on which car we want to attack at all speedways.

Good call joe, with the wide array of cars and tracks this series runs it will never be truly equal, but will also equal out over all of the rounds plus in such long races the fastest car doesn't always win. Look at the puegot and audi battles at le mans in the past.

Nurburgring the Vettes were doing 8:05's. They don't have a problem with downforce. Theyre not the best on tight tracks like Monaco, but everwhere else theyre awesome. You already switched tire ckmpound for this race, i say you give a weight drop to the GTRs of 20kg, they wont keep up if they lose draft. Im ok with the Jag at 1270kg. I can afford to drop some downforce, but it doesn't help the GTR here as much. Im trying to help by preventing a walk over by cars, not get an advantage.

That's a good example of what I'm talking about the GTR is going to maybe lose pace here but at Nurburg its awd function allowed it to be 1 of the strongest competitors on the grid. We could of made adjustments to balance out the awd with the pack but we didn't. Honestly top mph won't be a problem if drivers stay with the pack and bump draft each other vs passing at any chance giving and knocking tenths out of each drivers lap times. Plus I would like to see how they stand up here with the difference between mph's. I think the Indy round will be more amplified then this Le Mans race. I haven't seen anyone adjust hp & kg on any othr series that I'm aware of so I'm definitely not going to be the 1st! Sry man but te reg's stand as they are.

Youre not getting what I mean. Im saying give them a weight drop for this one race because its unique. Just like you switched to medium tires for this one race. I don't need apologies, Im not in the GTR  But I have a good bit of experience at this track from the series I used to run. It won't be fun for many and that could damage the participation.

Ill run it by the stewards tonight! 👍

That might have sounded rude. I should have said "no apologies needed". I think it would provide a closer race. Even 10kg goes a long way by slowing tire wear and helping acceleration!
