--Hello, Sick. --

There are races every sunday. The race you are doing is on 11/30. You can view the sched. on Post # 3.

Hi everybody, just to let know all of you that I'll indeed racing at the next race in the green hell.

Sorry for my absence but this last week was a bit busy in the school and that sort of stuff.

So all eyes now on the green hell, certainly I'll need to do some practice on that track, see you on one of the free practice sessions held at the green hell.

PS: I would've liked to make a race report on time for the Twin Ring Motegi race of Sunday.
But now it seems that is already too late for that, apart by the fact that Motegi it's already in the past and where it should be.
All I can say is that hopefully I can have better luck in the green hell, learning from my mistakes from the last 2 races.

Got a 9:47 with 100% water. @BLADErunner80 was about 10 seconds faster than me, but I'll take it. Just looking to survive tomorrow!

Also, I'm now completely positive I'll be able to race Le Mans :D GT3 category.

One key to this race is going to be something I call "track presence". You need to know where you're at on the track as well as where everyone around you is. It means knowing when you can be aggressive and knowing when you have to be patient. For example, if a faster car is coming up behind you, and you panic and go off course, that is bad track presence. If you know there is a straight coming up soon and decide to yield there, that is good track presence. It's also about being aware of how wet the track is and how hard you can push it at a certain wetness. Y'all probably know the deal. I just wanted to emphasize the importance of being aware of your surroundings at this particular track. Keep it smooth, clean, and on the black stuff, and you might just end up in victory lane!

Thermite's Post Race Report

There were some technical difficulties before the start of the race. Troubles with some people seeing everyone in the lobby, then I froze and had to restart the system, etc. It took some time but we eventually got those issues resolved! I'm glad we did because this turned out to be a really exciting race :D

I settled into a quiet spot in qualifying and pulled off a lap good enough for 4th. It was nothing special, but I was happy to at least be starting in the top half of the field.

After successfully tip-toeing my way through turns 1 and 2, I found myself in 6th place. After some hard racing with azdok, I made my way back up to 4th before exiting the GP course. I eventually escaped the group that was behind me and began to close on the front 3 cars. Gibbsgto crashed at the end of lap 1, so I was then in 3rd to begin lap 2. As the surface water % continued to increase, I began to catch BLADErunner. I could never get around him during this stint, however. All I could do was get as close to about 1 second back. But man, that was intense!!! At least one full lap of Blade's water spraying at my windshield with darkness approaching. That definitely took some focus to stay on the track haha. We both stretched our fuel as far as it would go and pitted at the end of lap 3.

Bladerunner took less fuel than me so I was playing catch-up at the start of the second segment. I was getting closer again as... what, what's this? The surface water is beginning to decrease! Time to carefully push it a little harder. As it approached 0%, I felt like I was flying! I decided to switch to RM at the end of that 2 lap segment.

I came out directly behind Blade, but we had to deal with lots of puddles at the beginning of the final segment, so that separated us a little. Once I got comfortable with my dry legs, I pushed as hard as I could to try and catch Blade again. As the final lap began to wind down, I thought I saw Blade get into the lapped HEMIata. He later said he had damage before that, but at the time, I assumed that was the thing that caused it. I could tell he was really struggling, so when dropped two wheels and got sideways in one turn, I made my move to pass, but he was able to hold on and squeeze back in front of me! This was exciting stuff. Racing hard to catch the 2nd place driver, while at the same time, wondering if we were going to catch the leader who appeared to be losing time! Coming into Dottinger Hohe, Blade finally lost it enough to where I could carefully navigate my way around. That was one hard-fought 2nd place finish for me. Definitely the best driving I've ever done at that track! Congrats to raikkon_avanti44 on the pole and the win!

Qualifying: 1st

Manage to keep a fairly decent lap on the full wets that ended putting me in pole position, quite pleased by that for sure and even more pleased after not having done to much practice on this track.

Race: 1st

On the start of the race I manage to get a good gate-away and I was able to hold the lead for the first corner ahead of BLADErunner who also made a good start.
From there I just tried to make a gap with the chasing cars, after we exist the GP course I was followed by Gibbsgto who seems to had the intermediate tires on that first stint. I was under pressure of him for almost the whole first lap, until he made the mistake on the final corner.
Then after that happen I had a more comfortable lead over BLADErunner and over Thermite, and since then I drove a pretty lonely race at the front of the pack, but not because it was a lonely race it was an easy one, the conditions out there were really tricky and treasonous so you couldn't afford to get too relaxed, even when having a big lead like I have in certain moments of the race.
For the last stint I struggle a bit, I think the conditions were more suitable for the Intermediates than the Racing Hard tires, so I struggle to get the grip I wanted and didn't were so confident on the throttle as I was in the earlier stint, luckily the spin I made on the corner where Lauda crashes had no consequences and was able to get away of the barriers, that made me lose like 10 seconds, and from there on BLADErunner were reducing more and more the gap between us, I thought it'll be a close finish, but then BLADErunner made the mistake Thermite commented. And in that way I was able to get my first victory in this GT3 club league wich is pretty good news for me. I knew that I had to redeem myself in this race after the disappointment of Motegi and Suzuka, so that's what I did. :gtpflag:

👍 Good racing BLADErunner, Thermite and everybody 👍

----Hello, ALL !

Thanks to ALL who participated & finished this GT3 Club event!

Great drive raikkon ! 👍

--- This was an amazing/exciting race! The start was VERY dangerous but, everyone seemed to do an excellent job @ keeping it together! I started on W tires & planned to do 3 laps on them. Once we all got off the GP section I started working on azdok & he was hard for me to pass! I made a mistake after thinking the position was mine & got out on the grass!! I was able to re-gain control before making contact with the wall or anyone:eek::drool::dunce::scared::nervous::mad::cool:. I lost 2 positions but, all was good! 👍. I ended up getting those spots back & finally getting around azdok after he made a mistake. At this point I was AAALLL ALONE! in 4th place. I honestly thought id finish around 2nd place do to a mistake from the leaders but, sheeeesh!!! great consistent driving by ALL podium finishers! (raikkon, thermite & BLADE). I DID pick up front left damage around the end of lap3 but it didn't really effect me. I pit'd @lap3 & took 88liters of fuel thinking this will b my only stop! About 5min later the weather started to clear up & so did the track! I had to make another pit & put on RM tires & a splash of fuel do to the dry track using more fuel. This part of the race was the funnest for me!:mischievous:. When I exited the pit azdok went back by so I knew I had something to keep me on my toes. The course was dry in most spots & u could see the dry & wet line! I loved that!:D:D:D. With these RM tires & a semi-dry track I couldn't believe how gripy it now felt!!!. I was able to close the gap to azdok & pressure him into a mistake, as he tried to re-gather his car I simply cruised by short-shifting. At this point I knew it was just me v me . I was just waving to the fans & what not when I came across a heavily damaged SLS driven by HEMI, he did his best to get out of my way but, it was still kind of close. NP, HEMI! I appricate u bringing it home! I crossed the finish line in 4th & very happy!

--- I would like to thank everyone who finished again! This was a tough race & if u were able to navigate the course, elements, competitors & finish well u should be proud!!!

-- GT3 Club is known for races like this & im glad I was able to share this event with others!

Really enjoyed Sundays race, had a good qually lap which was good enough for 2nd on the grid.

Then the race starts and yay it's still wet!! ;)
I get a good launch off the line (at last ) and brake early into turn one but still only just avoid a collision with raikkon's rear bumper.
turn three and a combination of my caution and gibbs IM tires means he easily sails past around the outside, i short shift to stay side by side and we spend the next two corners like this until finally i have to relinquish 2nd as we head back uphill to the fast chicane.
By the time we leave the GP track the front 3 have pulled a nice gap back to 4th and the chasing pack, were very close nose to tail with no chance of making a move, so i drop back a few car lengths so i have time to react if anything happens in front. And at the end of lap one it did, gibbs on IM and the track now getting much wetter loses control and spins out at the penultimate corner putting me 2nd.

Lap two
i decide to run a 3lap - 2lap - 2lap pit strategy thinking that would give me a better chance to react to the weather, but i knew i was tight on fuel to complete 3laps so had to slow my pace down, this meant Thermite was now close behind me and it stayed this way for the remainder of my first stint.

Lap three
ends and i make my first pit and Thermite does the same, my fuel tank is dry so i put in two laps worth and head out for a slightly faster two lap stint.

Lap five
and the rain stops and within a very short time the track is at 0% but still plenty of spray offline so with a pit stop at the end of this lap tire choice will be key. My last stop and again right behind me Thermite stops as well, i decide i have to go for slicks and choose RM, but fill more fuel so i can push the last two laps.

Lap six
Exiting the pits onto a wet track and dry tires are looking like a very poor decision as i aqualplane then tip toe slowly thru the first corners until i notice the magical dry line and suddenly the tires grip and i can start to push.
the lap started with me 35 seconds behind raikkon in 1st and with Thermite hot on my tail in 3rd place.

Lap seven pushing hard over the last lap and a half and sticking as close as possible to the dry racing line i'm now 7 seconds ahead of Thermite and under 10 seconds behind raikkon with just half a lap to the finish, but in my attempt to catch up to the leader i carry too much speed thru one corner and clip the wall with my front right, further round the lap struggling to keep control i dip two wheel off into the gravel and with Thermite now right behind me he looks to make his move but with the inside line to the next corner i'm just able to squeeze back in front, but i later lose it again in the corner coming onto the back straight and while sliding sideways on full opposite lock Thermite slides thru to take 2nd place.

This was a very enjoyable race and congrats to raikkon that early pace in the wet was immpressive!

Did you see the news page gurrizi? BOP settings for GT3 in quick match.

-- Hello, Blade! -

Yes!, I did see that. Its interesting how close to our specs. it is. If you look @ the 'pp', its a little lower then where our cars are, so I guess they have a little less hp. I'm just curious if they are going to add the Corvette to the actual category? Now that's exciting!

@BLADErunner80 Nice pics! In that last one with you sideways, I was a mix of, "Oh no! Gotta make sure to not hit you!" and, "I just gotta go for it because we're almost at the finish!" I don't remember if you actually hit me but it was really close if you didn't. It was nice to be around you all race since we practiced together a little. I had an idea of what to expect. I also think I've started behind you like 3 races in a row now! So I can vouch for you when you said you finally got a better launch

Great race at the ring last week guys, it wasn't 1 of my better drives but hey ho.Some nice photos from the race blade !! I wanted to know if there were spaces left for sundays race gurizzi ?

Hello, ALL !!! ----

Tips/Hints & fun facts 👍

----This first video is of the DeltaWing I'm running(Mazda powered model). This model runs in Americas multi-class series(TUSCC). The DeltaWing is very unique and even at times makes me uncomfortable just watching from home!. GT6 hasn't added the 'coupe' model seen in this video, but this is a good look at it in real action. The chasis was designed by a former 'Ganassi Racing' engineer. I hope this model will go to Le Mans & take down the Nissan Model!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Underclass & Lapped car procedure

-------In this video i would like BOTH GT3 & LMP drivers to take note of the manner in witch the 'underclass' cars conduct themselves while being passed by a LMP.

---- GT3 cars are required to STAY on the racing line, it is the responsibility of the overtaking car(LMP) to complete a safe pass. GT3 cars are STILL required to yield as needed.

--- Lapped/underclass cars are required to yield to approaching cars who are flashing lights. Failure to do so will result in a DQ from this race & 1 race suspension.
