I would like to be placed as a reserve. I have to work at that time unless it rains and then I would be free. I should be able to make most of the practice times though.

Class: GTE Pro
Car: Chevrolet Corvette Z06 C6.R
Body colour: Matte Light Blue
Rim colour: TBD
Car Number: 4

Scott, you and I are both organizing rain dances I guess. :sly: Too bad we live so far apart or we could split the fee for the medicine man. I don't think the standard fee covers a 2,000 mile diameter.

Hey just realised my little sister's 21st is the day before race and I think she may be having a party that saturday or the Friday night. So I'll need to see what's happening to find out if I can race that day. Anyway I'll let you know for definate when I know what's happening 👍

No probs, thanks. 👍

Sure thing! You're in the same boat as WRP then (don't rain dance too much or you will be, literally :sly:)

We're at 20 drivers so far, 22 including the 2 reserves. The minimum numbers of drivers on race day we need would be 24, 12 in each division. So hopefully we get them drivers signed up. If you know anyone who may be interested, drop them a PM!

I plan hosting some 'Official' practice sessions (not sure why they're official, just sounds a bit more important :P Was thinking of having a guaranteed spot for D1 up for grabs or something...) up until the 21st April. Here are the dates:

  1. Friday 13th April 18:00 BST onwards
  2. Sunday 15th April 18:00 BST onwards
  3. Wednesday 18th April 18:00 BST onwards

I could also host one before Friday if people are interested and let me know if they're free...? 👍

I'll see if I can think of anyone that would be interested in this sort of thing. ^^; I'm available most times this week, since I come home early.

I'm up for some practices haven't played for a while and need to get back into the swing of things

Hey you guys from the GTE PRO Class, how many laps are you guys getting before you completely shoot the tires off?

Anyone have a better tune for the Evora? The recommended tune is great for the flat stuff, but anything that makes the suspension compress results in a snap loose condition which is definitely not to my liking.

Edit: 4 tunes down and over an hour later and nothing that I like. This is why I don't drive MR cars in this game, they all handle the same - like crap.

If I don't find something worthy by race time I just won't run.

Just come over to the Pro side Jason, either the C6.R or GT-R will suit you nicely 👍

Did some tests yesterday, was doing some tests on tyre wear with a 'stock' setup on the GT-R Nissan. The car handle's well, but is little bit tail happy coming out of slower corners, will need to tweak the tunning.

My tyres last some time on the R8 LMS, despite wheelspin due to me being to power happy. Fuel economy is also fairly good in this car, I would take a guess users of the Vette may be struggling with that

I can only make the 2nd test, I'm busy on the first and third ones, can't even test now either. B-Spec 24 hours of Le Mans.. :grumpy:

Any Am lap times??

I'm feeling sooo far off pace it's redicolous..

I'm at the 26.0 mark as my fastest lap with the Evora but I haven't found a good tune yet. Like Jason I'm struggling at the off-camber corners. I do know some guy who might be able to help me though.:sly:

MR cars are my favourite cars in the game. I don't think a 458 handles like crap, neither do I think an NSX or an Elise handles like crap. I'm sure the suspension of the Evora can be fixed by a good tuner.

I was doing 1.21.xxx in the Nissan gt-r (pro) but still need to fine tune....

edit : mixed times up with different car i am testing on same circuit 1.25.xxx (my mistake, sorry)

I'm down to 26,8 after some serious suspension tweaks.. But still ,8 behind.. :scared:

That tune is like that to help it in the cambered turns when the suspension compresses. Try raising the ride height even more. I've found that's the thing you need to change first. I guess I'll come up with a different set of softer tunes.

25s are very good in AM, 22s very good in Pro. :)

After my 1st practice session I'm lapping around low 1:26's with about 11 to 13 laps before the tires on my vet are super shot off. 1:22's seems blazing fast at the moment especially adding the fact of a pit window for a 3 stopper around 18 laps or so'

Keep in mind that the 3 pit stop requirement is only a minimum. I imagine I would be doing at least 4... I'm not going to make it with 3 at the pace I go through tires...

I should be good for this and will probably go with the Pro class to balance numbers. Not tried any cars yet, but once I do, I'll sign up properly.

Is there a way I can be put down as "interested"? I'd love to take part, but as you guys know, my schedule always changes so I can't really commit, so if I was to fully commit to this, it would waste my time and all yours if I didn't show up and took someone's spot who could show up.

I'm going to be on tomorrow (Wednesday) from 13.00 PM (GMT) for some practice in my lounge.

It would be awesome if some of you guys had the time to drop by.
We could do shorter races and stuff. 👍

This is perhaps a bit of overkill, but I'll start a sign up list just in case the interest is huge (for some reason LOL)

Oh great. Another person to fear. ^^;

As for the practice...would like to take part, but I don't have the morning off. That time here is about 9am, so. ^^; I also think it might be actually possible to 3-stop, under re-evaluation...maybe.

RIP_Welsh_Don (GTP_Welsh-Bain) - Ford GT - Black / ?

Only car I tried after buying it especially to team up with Paginas! 👍

Seems to be good after initial testing, with a best of 1'22.690 so far ;)

I look forward to seeing that time tumble...although not too much. My best is just nipping at a 1:21. Almost there if I could gather an entire lap...

I don't see it tumbling any further than it has which is now a 1'22.2xx. Although I seem to have a slight problem with overheating the front tyres in a few places :indiff:

I'll probably try the GTR and Vette out of curiosity and offer some feedback on the specs, but I don't have the Audi unfortunately.

Can't do the practice, will be at work. Didn't get a chance to do some tuning tonight, baseball game ran long.
