I've left now. Minion and wge still in the room.

I'm happy with all the specs so they probably won't be changing. Did a long stint with all the GTE Pro cars tonight, apart from the Corvette where I just went for a fast lap. The R8 is definitely the most edgy on worn tyres, but I think it has the most potential over one lap. I've raised the recommended tune of the R8 by a further 5mm, and you might wanna go even higher than that. The Ford GT is nice, but can be a bit tail happy out of the slow corners. Moving the weight towards the front until you are happy should help. It also has nice even tyre wear, compared to the R8's worse rear tyre wear. The GT-R is the most stable and forgiving. It's probably the most stable on worn tyres, but it loses quite a bit of time so I think it pans out. You definitely have to battle with the front tyre wear.

👍

Hey Adam, you can pull me off the reserves list. I've decided I'm going to focus just on the the WRS Enduro instead of bouncing between the cars with the limited time I have. I will keep an eye out for other races you put on.👍

Okay no problem. 👍 I won't be hosting another one of these races with GT Academy and exams coming up and even after that, I like the prospects of iRacing much more. :)

NEPALII need the colours you're running.
Pag I need your rim colour.
Biffy I need your body colour and number.

Time to get some qualifying times in guys. 👍

What colour does Nige have? I thought Nige was running dark red although I may have been looking at the wrong car lol.

thought he was using the Ford GT... that's only in black.

And have you decided on a car yet Tim? :) There's 11 in each class so far so you're free to join either. Hopefully we get 12 or more of each class on race day!

well, I'll use the stock audi r8 lms, not the team playstation, is it ok to do this change?

I need to ask, the race will be at 16:30 BST, so, for me it will be at 19:30 pm once i live in the GMT +3, correct?

That is fine to change to that colour. 👍

16:30 BST is GMT+1. So GMT+3 will be 18:30 (6:30 pm). Use the time zone calculator linked on the first page just to be sure. :)

I'm going to try and get some practice in this week. Haven't touched the car since I ran those first practice laps.

The only car I haven't run a race in before is the GTR-TC so I'll take that one (I like variety).

I'll figure out what colors look good with the odd non-paintable shiny-bits and post a formal declaration later tonight.

So I can run 1:25's in the Vette Pro Class, but the 4 stopper is even sketchy for me since I'm burning the tires off at 10 Laps. I would need three 11 Lap stints with a 12 Laper stint as my final stint to hit the 4 stopper window. Hats off to whoever is managing a faster lap time than 1:25's w/ 12 Lap pit window'

I'm running the same colours as before. It's lucky ;)

so lucky that they aren't posted in either thread? :P

btw.

Car: R35 GT-R TC

Re-tested with the same tune as before in the Evora and it feels better now. :odd:

Probably because I changed up my wheel settings. Should be good to go I think.

I finally got 15 laps out a set of rubber, but I don't believe that will come easy with race pressure!

Sign me up for the Ford GT, in the slow colour.

GTP_ealirendur/GTE Pro/Ford GT LM Spec II Test Car

My desperately inconvenient time zone will probably make group practice/quali difficult, but I'll work something out. (GMT+10)

Thanks. The slow colour? Lol.

And that is fine. Group practice is not mandatory, and you can qualify at any point during the week as long as there is someone here to watch you.

EDIT: I may or may not be able to do practice on Wednesday. If I can't then it will be moved to Thursday or Friday.

Practice any of those days would have been good for me... although I seem to have hit a snag. My wheels seems like its on the fritz. It refused to centre properly (registering it as somewhat to the right.) And it seemed to get worse for a bit. Now it seems better-ish. I don't know, we'll see. This problem never happened before...

I'll be on from 6 or 7 pm BST. Anyone be around?
Yeah, I would like to qualify today.

Nevermind, my wheel is 🤬 broken again.

So that means I'm out.
