I'm divided for this match, I would like to see a South American team taking the cup home, but chances seem to be tiny. Holland plays a nice football, so I would like to see them winning too.

Am I the only one who thinks that Germany deserves to win against Spain? After all the hype put in Spain, the Germans play with twice the talent and magic.

Same here (albeit not in our league) and he's scored bugger all until tonight! My strategy of counting on a Holland clean sheet is not looking so hot now, though...

Let's see if Uruguay can keep the pace in the second half. It would be awesome if they beat Holland, the first final they'd reach since 1950.

But I'm sure Holland will come to charge in the second half, so my initial guess still stands, Holland will win.

Lol... my mate is coming to join me for the second half, and I was about to text him to ask him to grab some beers and I'd give him the cash... I stood at my window with my phone, and could see someone coming down the street, waving up at my flat... He then makes the internationally recognised 'drink?' hand motion, and heads straight into the off-license across the road from my flat. The guy is psychic... either that or he knows me far too well

Congrats to the Dutch contingent of GTP... Uruguay played very well, but Holland deserved the win IMO. A classic game, and the low-scoring group stage is now a dim and distant memory!

Congrats to the Dutch contingent of GTP... Uruguay played very well, but Holland deserved the win IMO.

I'm thinking otherwise. Sneijder's goal was pure luck in my view, and it should've been 2-2.

Also, sorry for my rant which I will probably apologize for tomorrow but can someone please fire Van Bommel? He may do a good job for the Dutch team, but I find his way of playing a pure disgrace to the sport. I've watched him many times, and I never liked his way of playing in the club championships either, but now I just got fed up with him.

Overall I didn't like this match. I just found the overall playing of both teams horrible.

I can't wait for the match tomorrow, I'm pretty sure this will be an epic one. And even though the Dutch may go the final, I will be having a nice time watching the Germans goofing the Dutchmen around on the field. Yes, I have already gambled on a German win tomorrow, and yes, I have already tipped the Germans as the winners of the World Cup.

Despite a slow first half, it turned out to be a great game. Congratulations to Uruguay, they did well, getting to a WC semi final is tough, no matter who you're opponents are, and its nice to see they didn't go out with a whimper.

Congratulations to the Undutchables. 2nd ever WC final, lets hope they can convert this into a 1st ever WC victory, its been long overdue.
