Petr, the thing is, we have enough problems getting the race going as we are now.
We start the room at 18.00 uk and almost always, by the time we get everone seeing each other and all sorted out it is 19.00 and at times 19.30, 90 minutes just to get the race started.

We just cannot have any more troublesome connections i am afraid.
Your connection always caused an issue, and although i enjoyed your time in our series Petr, it was so much less dcs and problems when you decided to leave the series.

I am really sorry mate, but there are already 19 drivers in the series and i just cant take on any more that have anything but perfect connections, for the sake of everyone else.

So, just for fun, this is the champinship points if you take into account the dropped scores:

Couldnt figure out these points now I see its with 3 droped scores of 5 races, I suppose 2 droped scores would be more than enough for 5 races.

I made it more dropped scores than usual, as its summer and people have holidays, and also because at times people may not get into the races if they dont Q - so we have total 5 dropped
DROP 3 SCORES FROM RACES 1 - 8 then a RECALCULATE of PTS
then
DROP 2 SCORES FROM RACES 9 - 15 then a RECALCULATE PTS
all ready for the grand finale

Sorry for the late post, I was away all day yesterday. Regarding the race on Monday, I thought it was great fun, despite my funny first pitstop. A lot of people were similar in pace and alternate strategies made it extremely close at the finish. Well done to niss and the other podium finishers.
However niss the rules state at the start, you have to accelerate over the line but you got a run on me and were along side me into t1, and it also happened in Daytona where you were way ahead even before t1. I think maybe it would be better if we all accelerated out of the last corner to avoid this happening? I then avoids any abuse of the rule, cheers

Well tbh I checked the replay now several times, you were slow of the line with only 113kmh and I was bit fast with 127kmh over the line. Obviously I got by your side if you consider both speeds. The rules state no passing before the line and I didn't pass you over the line, I got by your side after the line. It's interesting how we never had issues in PURE series with over 45 drivers while here we have issues with same starting procedure.

Me and Logic already disscus this matter and for the moment we are staying with start at the line. But from now on it is not allowed to go over 120kmh at the line.

But guys if you start somewhat slow not anticipating when to hit the gas, expect that if the car behind had a good start that the car will get by your side, that doesn't go against the rules if you don't exceed 120kmh.

Wait, why is nissman in the GT-R?

Because I was slow in Lexus, 11th in Daytona, 6th in Silvestone. My GTR has same HP/KG as Lexus.

I'm not in the 540HP GTR, no worries.

Im aware of the season rules, just didnt quite see why Eraz droped 3 scores in only 5 races.

Because, why not?:P It's just for fun, as that is closer to what will eventually be the scores after 8 races, than it is to just look at the total ammount of points. Paul is the perfect example, if he continues to perform well he is still the points leader, but the points table suggest he is way down in 6th.

Of course, if he has 1 bad race from now on, he will plummet down the list, as he has already used all his dropscores.

Starting from last corner only makes things worse at the end of the straight (on top of that entire field bunched up).

What could really make a difference would be rule of starting after first corner of first race lap, because after first corner there usually aren't any straights - so this would allow for field to get stretched without such tension as collective overtakes into 1st corner.

:)👍👍:PPersonally I believe that the current rules regarding the start of the race following the seemingly fast pace laps that we have lol  are genuinely okay but having said that I think that we should up the limit too 85mph as we seem to go above that as it is which is causing people too (well I'll speak for my self here) but it's causing me to accelerate hard to just stay within a reasonable distance to the guy in front of me preferably around the 2 car lengths but this is then causing a domino effect as the guy behind me keeps up to me and then I'm having to brake so they do and so on u get my point...
As it's the last series on gt6 I just think we should just go with it as it is but increase the limit as I said ^^^ & forget the 2car length thing and just go with it... If the guy in front is doing the limit and ur right behind them but not doing the limit and u shoot off first but not going over the limit and the start/finish line before the over driver then all is gd just means u were smarter right haha

Question for all here;

Who would be up for a track change from the final race at spa becoming Le Mans and then making at a real endurance race and making it an extra hour longer so
2 & 1/2 hours long in total or something like this?
I do like the idea, but there are 3 issues:
1: The cars will need to be re-spec'd, because of the long straights at Sarthe, all cars need to be of similar straight line speed, otherwise overtaking will become impossible for the Lexus drivers, and way, way to easy for the HSV drivers.
2: Something else then have to move aside in favour of SPA, because we can not just skip SPA.
3: An extra hour could potentially mean increased risk of DC, and because of the way the pointsystem is set out, the final race wil be much, MUCH, MUCH more important than any other race, a DC would be disasterous. this is also part of the reason why the cars would need a re-spec.

To Be honest Daniel, i have to agree with Spa at our normal race 90 minutes is really the way to go.

I know you are desperately trying to keep our series going as you may not have gtsport, but i think 90 minutes / the car specs / and other reasons for me is a fair enough reason to keep it the way it is.

We did our initial car balances at Spa and it really is a great finale, especially as you know the random weather there, as we have had on other occasions.

I will say - if we so anything, i would like to see possibly double points for the finale, to keep more people alive in the champinship possibly ?
but not sure how people feels about that.

Clarity on start procedure
RULES ARE FROM PAGE 1
INDEX 7: ROLLING START PROCEDURE
NO DRIVER MUST EXCEED 120KPH / 75MPH
BEFORE CROSSING THE START FINISH LINE

IT IS NOT REALLY CORRECT IF SOME DRIVERS STICK TO THIS RULE AND SOME DO NOT
WE ARE VERY STRICT IN Q - WE SHOULD BE AS STRICT FOR THE RACE START AS WELL.

I AM WORKING OUT A PENALTY FOR FUTURE SPEED OVER THE START LINE LIMITS.....
