Yay, my first podium this season comes in qualifying.

It is really hard to guess who will win. I guess it is a game between me, @DannyB013 and @TRL_Andromeda if it rains. If the track is kept dry, then it is a bit harder since you have got the HSVs with 568 and 578 horsepower. Plus lower horsepower cars will just have the advantage in the corners.

My personal best is a 41.086 which I have no idea how I achieved (it was 0% dry, overcast though). I can keep my pace around sub 42s when dry, and can do 1:53s in rain, if I do not screw up.

Amazing lap from @DannyB013 to put a 520HP car on pole in Monza and with quite a margin. 👍

It's a difficult race for the lower powered cars, we must use very low DF in dry to keep up, but if it rains we will have no grip at all with such low DF settings. Should be a difficult night to say the least but the race should be good, Monza rarely dissapoints.

I'll be turning up that's for sure...I didn't see the point in doing Q though as 43.7 -43.5 was all I was going to do on a lucky lap!

We had no incidents in the practice races expect me hitting the inside barrier at turn 1, and also Monza will have very close battles. I was battling with nissman and erazer for 2 laps, after that I escaped quite quickly.

That's why I mentioned the word "madness".

I moved to university yesterday, all is setup and everything is fine apart from the fact that the security here for the Internet connection means that it's impossible for me to connect up my PS3 to the Internet.

Anyway I'll have to get one of those mifi portable wifi things and I hope to be racing again soon. Have a good race, don't hit each other lool and please could the pole point go to logic because it is obviously no use to me!

Well done John on not only your first podium, but also victory! Great drives advancing up the field by niss and Aug too! I had no mobile data so I could use that but I'm enjoying my first few days here so missing the race doesn't hurt no where near as much as it would've a couple of weeks ago. Although I feel I could've got victory here, that doesn't matter and I hope to be racing next week, although with probably a lot less practice than usual haha

Actually after the safety car on lap 1, I came from 13th to 2nd. The car felt amazing, I gambled with a dry setup with low DF and I was passing cars left and right, which I was suprised to do with a 520hp car. TBh, I thought this will be one of my worst results of the season.
