I like Logitech too for their reliability, but trust me, you are much better off with a T300RS, if you have the extra money I'd strongly advice you to look that way.
everyone that has switched to thrustmaster says the same.
The problem is the G29 is just an updated G27 with som extra bits and buttons and such, the base and motors are basically the same, there's still that famous play at centre, the clacking noise, and so on, nothing is solved.
But there is hope they might solve it soon since so many players have moved over to TS. but untill the G31 is announced, the T300 is the best wheel you can buy for a reasonable prize.
It still has brushed motors, that is not acceptable in a premium product in 2016.

Wow stephen this view thing is really quite a good exercise in every one getting to know what view we use and how everyone is sharing what wheel they use as wheel and if have a cockpit..awesome guys ..I have t500rsthe t3pa pedal s but the pedometers would fail so now I have the g27 pedals there until I fix the other pedals..I have a gt ultimate cockpit and I got the 599 upgrade steering same as erazer. I see no one has qualified yet im keen to do mine now or next hour if any one available before I fall asleep in the chair..

John I see u use a hand controller ..wow that is truly amazing how good u are to do a full one and half hour race and have a victory against some of the best online racers of gt6 of all time..that is crazy stuff..awesome

Thanks for the nice comments Luke. The win came after 200(?) laps of practising, it was not too hard for me to find the pace there, I tried to do every corner by touching the kerb a bit, ex. look at chicane #2.
