I used to have the same problem as you mine has never read first time for about a year and a half and now i tried for 2 hours.. So im guessing this is the end for my ps3 reading discs now, haha 1st owner of it for 6-7 years
i think i have the saùme issue , but almost since i bought ps3 , my tip (what i do ) is hit it slightly with you fingers above the place where the disc enters ... i guess once you put the disc in it keep turning right? if yes , just give slight taps almost like knocking on a door but imagine it's glass and thin

He will then allow only the Q driver to enter pitbox.

Thank you for the tip i just tried it and it doesn't work also , it just suddenly happened, it was working then i switched it off did some things and now it acting like this with me, in gonna look at some YouTube videos

Retired due to tons of collisions making me afraid of "ruining" anyone's race. The brakes seem not to work properly since we left Brands Hatch (5,748 kilometers in the GT-R).
So, to avoid any worse matters in the race with the strangest corners in the calendar, I decided to retire. Good luck for today's race, and I will be there for round three, which is on another track I dislike anyways.
One silly mistake on my own saw me falling back to 4'th. not so bad, but then Filo crashed right infront of me and I got caught up in it. after that I was stone dead last. then I 3 more offs caused by the issues of overtaking with a car that has no top speed. First I got a little shunt in bus-stob by John, then I outbraked myself when overtaking rich in bus-stop, and then finally got a little shunt by Jfrod, in bus-stop ofcourse (where else lol). I'm not mad at any of you, I know you only had good intentions.👍 I'm mad at myself for allowing myself to get involved in these issues ond putting myself in these situations. Thats 2 race wins thrown away by silly mistakes.
BTW, @Daniel199025 , what the h*ll happend on the penultimate lap? you braked so early I got caught out, acidentally nudged you, you seemed ok so I dived on the inside, then you went off in a cloud of smoke... Lag? My fault?
I have to say this was yet again another brilliant race, few moments at the start trying to avoid collisions up ahead in the distance, making some very costly errors within the 1st sector saw me go off-roading to spice things up just that bit more lol.
Back to 13th from 5th or maybe 6th and as I'm coming back on track im constantly looking behind me as to not take anyone else out & just managed to squeeze back on and gain some traction in front of @DeltaJuliet & after a few laps was able to pull a gap & start the hunt to gain back some valuable points.
Got my self back into 4th but when I done my pit stop I accidentally took on a full tank so was heavy for my second stint as most were that little bit faster & my car was at its best when on half a tank or less and my grip was at its peak.
@TRL_Andromeda the penultimate lap was hard for me seeing u creep up and creep up like I was driving a double decker bus, I made a few mistakes trying to cope your previous laps into the 1st corner and my rear right caught the lovely grass & that was it then I was braking earlier because I was watching u in my mirror rather than the road ahead the nudge was expected at some point as this was the case for numerous laps. I just got onto the yellow rumble strip but again the rear just caught the grass and I spun like a yoyo 🤬.. So at this point was settling for 6th then I see @richroo going somewhat slow haha was like hell yeah I'm gonna make up one place and finish 5th but decided i couldn't leave a man down so gave him a little push until I saw @monkeywall flying up behind me and floored it but it wasn't too be lol.
Overall result= good race and happy that we only lost 3 people from the race.. Wd guys
