Skid Recovery Force does nothing other than make your car slide less than it normally would whenever you lose traction. A function for beginners.
If you drive the car perfectly, no need to have SRF. If your car lose traction, you are pushing too hard on cornering and accelerating. And SRF help you to correct the mistake. A mistake is always a lost of time in racing.
I've tried SRF on and off. And yes, I'm faster when it's off. When it's ON, I feel like I'm sitting in a self-control car.
Most of the people are faster when it's ON, and to be honest, that's great for them. It level the competition.
