Imagine a Civic Type-R's engine in an Elise, now that'd shift.

It's a common swap. Since they sell Elises in Malaysia, thanks to Proton's dealer network, there are a lot of B-series swapped Elises around. Only problem is it's difficult to fit all the accessories. The B-series is a lot more tractable at low speeds than the Rover Ks, supposedly, and should be better even than the new Toyota engines (which suck at low speed).

how much to get a Lotus "TRD" supercharger?

Lotus is considering a supercharger as an option for the Toyota motor for th 07 production year. Releasing one now would disappoint the 50 owners of Exige 240Rs, which have superchargers already.

And no, it's not a "TRD" supercharger, they got one from elsewhere.

Thank god, because TRD superchargers are complete turds...

but!

If you think about it, a slightly modded s/c'ed Exige might put up some competition for the Exige sport(doubts it) but hey..it'd be cool

Ps...A K/F-series Elise is getting fairly common in the states now too..

If you're refering to the S1 Sport Elise, then I'd say it would be faster, but if you're refering to the Exige 300RR, then there isn't a chance. You're looking at a 400hp racing car. I'm surprised at how well this car is racing, excellent reults, I have to admit.

What you're seeing is a Federalized Elise, which has the Toyota motor already.

OH MY GOD!

I know where that is!

That Veyron is in the drive-in to the Beverly Hills Hotel!!

I've driven through there when in L.A.!

Post it up regardless, I'd like to read that, mind you I could just pick the mag up tomorrow.

Also the new episode of top gear starts on the 13th november and in one episode clarkson races from the north italian town of alba to london UK in the veyron VS hammond and james may in a plane which james may if flying.

Hiya! :D :embarrassed:  Meow! (='.'=)

Good scans! :embarrassed: 👍

Interesting to read and look at the Veyron. Seeing Gordon Murray in those pictures got me saying:

"It is time to create the successor of the McLaren F1 NOW!" :embarrassed:

Bugatti Veyron GT
Volkswagen is determined to make its Bugatti brand work, and the long-delayed Veyron will have at least one other variant. A four-seater GT has been rumoured - with the 16-cylinder, 1000bhp engine.

Do you have a source? I've read about another Bugatti before, a while ago actually but it wasn't a 4 seater Veyron.

Sweet Jesus, first the car takes the title of the world's fastest car. Now, rumors of a four seater with the same engine. I guess that they want to be the world's fastest four passanger car. Jesus, either the builders have a lot of free time on their hands or they must be really bored with the job of building the regular ones.

The Veyron is already enough....I can't see Volkswagen trying to make another variant of this car after all those hard work and delays. :indiff: Just let the Veyron go out into the market for a while until making another one. :embarrassed:

4car
Ferrari F60 V12 (Future model 2007)
The replacement for the limited-run Enzo; name as yet unknown, but rumours suggest an 800bhp-plus power output from a modified version of the Enzo's V12.

4car
Lamborghini V16
Codenamed Miura, apparently, but an awful lot more powerful than the original; Lamborghini's next supercar is going to have Bugatti Veyron-like levels of performance.

4car
McLaren P8
Mercedes-Benz has pulled out of the joint project to produce a small supercar (fitting in the range between the SL55 AMG and the SLR), but McLaren is continuing development - using mainly M-B components - and will sell the Woking-built P8 under its own brand name. Expect the AMG 6.3 V8 (over 500bhp) and a price of around $200,000.

Just listing some future supercars that will rival the veyron ontrack.
